Su Lin hesitated to walk inside her new house. Who the heck could it be?

She just moved in here and Grandpa Su specifically told her that he did not inform her dear ex-husband about it.

So she doubted that it could be someone she knew. If it was not someone she knew then...

So the woman silently sneaked upstairs, under the cover of the darkness and the loud music.

The intruder's heart rate was calm and he still had not noticed her presence. Su Lin could sense that the man was sitting silently, in the same position, waiting for her patiently.

Surprisingly, he also did not have any hostile aura at the moment.

Not letting her guard down, Su Lin slowly reached upstairs, and then with one swift motion, she mustered all her strength to push open the bedroom door and dash in towards the intruder.

She intended to topple the man on the bed, lock him down under her grasp, position her needles ready to attack his vital points.

Just a small prick on a vital point was sufficient to unleash deadly pain on the target. So Su Lin planned to prick all his vital points one by one until the intruder spilled the reason behind this unexpected visit.

But unfortunately, no plan ever goes as it should...

As soon as Su Lin dashed inside, her eyes inevitably landed on her target and instead of surprising the target like she intended to, she ended up being surprised.

Her cold gaze turned softer and her body attempted to stop mid-air, but she had already toppled the familiar figure onto her bed.

"Heh." The man grimaced slightly and used her split-second distracted mind to switch positions and pinned her down under his exquisite physique.

"What... What are you... How did you find me?" Su Lin stammered, her gaze still fixated on that devilishly handsome man.

The man's long black hair, perhaps longer than hers was sprawled across her face. They matched their owner's unruliness.

Maybe because they were so close to each other, with their noses almost touching, Su Lin felt the full brunt of his attack, not a physical one but a mental one.

In her two lifetimes combined, she had never seen anyone as beautiful as he was.

The man's tapering deep-set almond eyes were staring right at her, threatening to peer into her soul.

"How can I not find you, my dear? We still have unsettled matters between us."

Luther used his fingers to gently remove the hair from Su Lin's face and tucked the unruly strands behind his ear.

But even after that, his fingers came back to rest on Su Lin's cheek and casually caressed her soft marshmallow cheeks in an intimate manner.

His gentle movements snapped Su Lin out of her trance, as she forcefully tried to push the man away from her.

Her hands landed on his chest and the handsome devil winced in pain. Under his black t-shirt, Su Lin could feel the bandages wrapping his wounds, that were yet to heal completely.

"Ok. Ok. I am getting up. Wait."

Luther reluctantly released his grasp on the woman's shoulders and her hips and stood up.

"For the record, it was you who pushed me down on the bed. I was merely cooperating with your bold straightforward wishes."

Luther shrugged his shoulders in a matter of fact manner and flopped onto the couch next to the bed.

"Shameless." Su Lin bit down on her lips and rearranged her disheveled clothes.

"What are you doing here?" She asked, picking up her needles that were now uselessly tossed on the bed.

Luther raised his eyebrows in surprise as he saw the needles in her hand. She already knew I was here? He was impressed.

His thin lips curled upwards into an arrogant smirk. "Isn't it obvious? I am here to repay you with my body." He declared nonchalantly.
