15 Curing the illness Part2

An entire week passed by in the blink of an eye, with Su Lin secluded inside that single room.

During this time, there were plenty of weird noises coming from the room, ranging from sensual moans to screeching screams.

Both Wang Yu and the elder did not dare leave the house even for a minute. They patiently waited outside the room, wondering what the hell was going on.

The elder was genuinely worried about Su Lin, while Wang Yu just stayed there out of pure curiosity.

Finally, on the eighth day, around noon, Su Lin opened the door and stepped out.

Ah... A surprised gasp escaped from the elder's mouth.

Both the elder and Wang Yu looked at Su Lin from top to bottom... multiple times... with their mouths wide open...

Something was off about her!

She looked extremely disgusting and emitted a foul odor beyond description, but the woman was strangely healthy and energetic.

She seemed as if she was glowing beneath all that filth and the putrid stench.

Her earlier signs of sickness and exhaustion had completely disappeared. The huge dark circles of death around her eyes had also faded without any trace.

Su Lin casually walked past both the dumbfounded men and took a quick shower.

"Tsk... Tsk... Now that the matter of my health is resolved, I need to go for some shopping."

She wore a random pair of loose-fitting pants and a shirt from the elder's house and covered herself.

"Thank you for your hospitality, Sir. Please take this as compensation." Su Lin handed the elder some money and thanked him gratefully from the bottom of her heart.

"No worries. No worries. As long as you are fine." The elated old man hurried and called a cab for her. Please, grand aunt, let me live in peace now. He silently prayed.

Due to the old man's nagging, Wang Yu also went along with her to make sure that she reached home safely. He couldn't refuse the elder's kind request.

Su Lin ignored the grumpy guy following her and happily got into the cab.

Her entire body felt light and fresh as if a heavy anchor that had been constantly weighing her down for centuries was finally discarded.

She could feel the bright sun rays hitting her body. The clean air circulated in her lungs and filled her to the brim with fresh energy.

She felt so much more energetic and at peace with her new body and her new life.

She had finally made it...

This was her second chance at a new life, a life free from bloodshed and violence. Su Lin eagerly looked forward to it.

However, she was still not completely out of the woods just yet. She had barely managed to divert and store all her irregular cancerous cells from her body to her spleen.

She needed more resources to completely get rid of her ailment without losing her spleen.

Wrapped in her thoughts, Su Lin closed her eyes and listened to the calm music playing on the radio. Her mind and body was completely relaxed.

But suddenly...

An ominous feeling tugged at her consciousness. Su Lin flashed her eyes open in vigilance, but it was already too late.

The next second, a car rammed into their cab with full force and Su Lin was knocked out cold. Luckily she didn't suffer many injuries.

Next to her, Wang Yu was also not heavily injured, but the man was bleeding. The car driver only managed to open the door, and he as well collapsed on the road.

And so, the two broken cars and the five injured people, were all lying unconscious on the main road.
