2 The Ceremony - Chapter 2

"I'm only here to help prepare the dress."

"GRANDMA," Maya shrieked, "how could you! You promised me if I was in trouble, you'd save me. You OWE me this, after all"

Grandma avoided her eyes guilty, "Sorry Maya," she said, "I don't think I can do anything this time."

Maya looked away with tears welling up in her eyes, "Fine, be quick about this though. I have to be left alone for a bit, to calm down."

"Okay." Grandma said.

The dress Grandma pulled out from behind her was magnificent, the skirt of the dress was up to her feet and it was covered with iredesent pearl, the hem had a lace lining and was a very beautiful holographic colour. The top of the dress was designed so some cleavage was shown but it still looked acceptable around Maya's DD breast's, It was a pretty silver colour and had the same iredesent pearls lining the very top and the waist of the dress.

Maya gasped in surprise, wow she thought, How did we afford this, it's beautiful.

"Try it on, Maya." Grandma whispered with a worried smile.

"Who got this for me," Maya smiled in shock, "it's so beautiful, I love it"

Grandma's worried smile turned into a relieved smile, as she grinned she said, " I bought the dress, I had been saving up for it after I heard you where getting married." Her smile grew even bigger, " I wasn't sure if you would like it or not!"

Maya held back her tears, finally someone trying to make her a little bit happier, instead of telling her she had to accept it. "Grandma," she replied, " I love it, I-i-i love you! It's so beautiful."

Seeing her grandchild cheer up a bit, Grandma felt relieved and unconsciously started to smile. " I knew you would love it, now try it on."
