4 Chapter 2: Meeting

It's been three days after the making of our crystal, and also, the time of the Chang'e Moon has come! We are all excited to see it, but Professor Rylie told us that we shouldn't be out tonight, making us all disappointed. Reason? The school is visible in Aurora's Land everytime the moon reveals itself. That is also the time when many enemies tries to enter and ruin Genesis Academy. Some of my schoolmates even felt scared as they all knew that Dusk Empire is one of those who'll try to cause ruckus here.

But me? I am definitely excited to meet them again. I want to try my new magic to them. Can I beat them now? Can I now defeat them? Is it now enough?

"Daisy! Come come! Dean Jean is calling us." Guinevere called outside my door as she excitedly said those words.

"Be there in a minute!" I answered as I put on my socks. I tried to wear a plain big yellow t-shirt and matched it, tucked up with a high waist black short. Then I put on some long black socks, and I will match it up with a black sandal that Guinevere gave me, must be good, I think. I really do hope so though HAHA!

Anyways, after finishing my errand, I tied my hair up in a ponytail and braided it before turning it into a bun. And as I look in the mirror, I felt something weird. Like, someone was looking at me, again. So I tried to look around, but there was no one with me. It gave me goosebumps, but I didn't tried to look deeper into it and just continued what I was doing. I quickly went out of my room after and I was really surprised to see my roommates having the same outfit as me. The only difference was the color of the shirts. Guinevere wore purple, Mye wore white with a glint of gold on the sides, while Rose wore red. That's it.

"Really?/Are you serious?/Whoa!" We all said in unison as we look at each other in shock. We didn't talked about this, but coincidence did made this up.

"I can't believe this." What did made us more surprised though was when we saw Traceler wearing a casual attire just like us. It was coupled with Guinevere by the way. "I should change my clothes." He said and was about to go back to his room when Rose stopped him.

"Shouldn't it be cool if we go like this? Come on guys! Destiny really made this for us, why turn back?" She said and we just shrugged our shoulders off while giggling, except for Traceler who still has that I-don't-care-leave-it look on his face.

We went out of the dorm and walked towards the room where we always have our classes. I was also wondering why the dean called for a meeting, but I think it wouldn't be that bad, am I wrong?

As we enter the room, we were greeted by stares, not deadly ones, but envy.

"Oh look at that, they really showed their friendship~ how cute!" Professor Rylie said as he walked closer to us. "How did you even managed to have that group dresses when in fact, you didn't leave the school this past years?" He asked excitedly and we just smiled awkwardly at him, looking at each other to ask what we need to say.

"We... Didn't planned this out professor, we were also shocked at ourselves." Mye said as she smiled awkwardly, using her sweet, calm voice.

"Is that so? Then Destiny might have been the one to do it!" Professor Eurie entered the conversation.

"That's what we thought so too!" Guinevere said and laughed.

"Ehem!" We heard a familiar voice in front of the crowd, making us sit in a chair and looked at the stage where the principal is about to deliver her speech~ "Good morning students! As you now know, Chang'e Moon will be revealing tonight, after how many years of not showing itself... And it is thanks to our dear phoenix bearer, we will have the chance to witness it again." Everyone clapped their hands with what she said, but I just clapped awkwardly at it. "But beware about the danger this beautiful nature will give us. For not just simple enemies, but Duskians will be the one to hunt us more." She explained, making us feel goosebumps again. "It will last until the moon doesn't show itself. But with the help of your crystals, nothing bad will happen. As long as you don't take off your jewelries, nothing bad will happen to everyone." She explained, making us sigh in relief.

"But please, we need your help! We need your powers to stop everyone who will try to destroy our beloved school. We need all of you to protect this place. Are you with us?"

"Yeees!!!" We all shouted as we hear the question being asked.

"For Genesis Academy!"

"For Genesis Academy!!!" We answered back, and put our fists on our left chest as we took our pledge.

"Also, if anything bad ever happens, please... Just please, don't let our enemies find out about our lethal weapon. We need to protect her from our archenemy. She must not be caught by the hands of the bad." Dean Jean said and everyone looked at me with determination as they all nodded at me. So without anything else to say, I nodded back seriously, feeling nervous and excited at the moment.

After the meeting, we did nothing but clean the school, put some securities for more safety precautions and measures. Some of my schoolmates even used their powers to create a shield at every corner of the school, while the professors helped them. They also planned to shield the school before night breaks in, so after doing everything, we went back to our rooms.

"Oooh??? I am so excited about the crystal!" Guinevere said and looked at the crystal without holding it. She just sat on the couch while looking closely at the crystal in the middle of the table.

"Same~ I just can't wait for night time." Rose said and sat on the sofa too. Even Mye and Traceler sat there, but as time passes. I felt scared.

I felt nervous, like something bad is about to happen. I am kinda feeling that something is off, and that I need to be careful. Maybe it's because of what the dean said earlier. I didn't even realized that I was walking around in circles, until Traceler stopped me by saying that it makes him dizzy, so I sat at the couch besides Mye.

"Is there a problem? You seemed troubled." She asked with a worried look, making everyone look at me with the same expression.

"I don't know why, but... I feel something wrong." I started. "Maybe it's because of the fact that I needed to be protected, and that lives were at stake because of me?" I asked and they all sighed.

"Don't worry about a thing. No one will get hurt, just act normal. I promise you, nothing bad will happen. We just need to trust and believe with each other, that's what friends do." Mye said and smiled sweetly, making me assure a bit. But still, I can't wash away this feeling of uneasiness. And I hate it, so I excused myself to go inside my bed to sleep.

They just nodded, so I went to bed and tried to sleep, good thing hypnos was with me today so it was easy.
