19 Chapter 17: Lord Centaur's Cave?

Third Person

All of the elites were standing in the middle of the training room. Each of them were given a seat, but only one took it. Sky~

She was tired from the journey so she gave herself a comfortable seat.

"So it was the phoenix who helped you fix the school then?" Zandre asked the dean about the mass fixing of the school.

"Yes! In fact, she already gained control of the power itself!" Dean Jean said, making all of the five inside surprised. "We all were also surprised by the sudden changes with her. It was like, she was helped by Aurora herself! It was two days ago when that happened. Some fugitives tried to attack the school and the phoenix was like, out of herself that time..."

"Out of herself?" Zandre asked.

"Oh~ I meant about not being able to focus in battle." The dean answered, so Zandre nodded and let her continue. "She lost her wand by some point, that's the thing she uses before she gained her full power anyways.

So we tried to use the phoenix that time, but she can't do it. So her team tried to make her angry as to what happened when the duskians attacked the academy. And that was the time when she lost herself for a while then after that, a miracle happened.

We saw how her aura changed and her fighting gears also changed and when the fugitives ran away, she used the power of phoenix to fix the gate and everything that has been ruined came back to where they belong." Jean explained and everyone was in awe as to what they've heard. Especially Granger.

He already expected that a thing like this would happen, but hearing it actually made him surprised and proud at the same time.

Sky was about to ask more about Daisy, when the door behind them opened and there came Professor Rylie with a worried look on his face.

"Is something bothering you professor?" Jean asked. "Everyone, this is Professor Rylie. He's incharge of the mental focus training."

"Nice meeting you Royal Elites! I am honored, but I can't welcome you enough, not right now." He said and everyone looked at him with curious gazes. "Dean Jean, as I was doing my daily meditation earlier, I saw Team Alpha. They went different paths with her! And she is all alone towards Lord Centaur's Cave!" He said, making Jean in horror.

"This can't be!" She exclaimed.

"May we help you with that?" Marc said and Sky got back up her feet.

"This is not good! One of our students is alone out there! And she is walking towards a dangerous cave!" Jean said.

"What's at the cave?" Sky asked.

"Did you meant that cave, dean?"

"Yes! That's the one!"

"What cave?" Sky looked at Jade with confused stare as Jade look at her with horror.

"Lord Centaur's Cave is where the guardian of Genesis Forest lives! But that was a long time ago when he last served the academy! After the unknown missing of the bearers, he was never found again. And some rumors say that he lives on that cave, making it have its name. And that when someone enters there, never comes out alive." He explained in terror.

"And what's worse is that one of our students are on her way there!" Jean also explained.

"But why would she enter the forest without your permission? I thought that every students are prohibited from exiting the academy gates?" Jade asked and Dean Jean waived her head no.

"To be frank with you, we are the ones who sent them there."

"What?! Why? It's dangerous-!"

"We know! But they insisted. That team is very persistent and would not stop until they get what they want. So we let them. But we didn't expected it to be like this." Jean said and looked worried. "And what's worse is that the student that is heading there is a very important student here in the academy!" She explained.

"Please help us." Rylie begged.

"Don't worry~ well do our best to look for her. We'll send Granger there to help." Marc said and Granger knitted his brows right at him. "What?" He asked. And Granger just looked at him with an are-you-serious?! type of look.

Granger doesn't want to leave the place, because he wants to find Daisy and talk to her as soon as possible. But his hope is slowly fading because of what Marc is saying.

"Marc's right. Granger is enough to save that student. It may sound a bit weird, but I also heard that the centaur is just like a random horse. If you try to talk to it, and let him understand, it will listen." Jade second the motion, making Granger have no hope.

"If that centaur is really an all ear type of creature... Then why is everyone entering there, doesn't come out?"

"Maybe it's because they don't know how to talk to him. I just feel like he's a nice guy~" Jade pouted while saying those words.

"Very well then... Granger, if you're ready, you may take your leave." Zandre said and because of what he heard, Granger just sighed heavily and walked out of the room without any more words.

"I see that he is not a talkative type of guy huh?" Professor Rylie asked.

"Yeah~ even when he first worked at the palace, he was always that type of person. An introvert. And the only one that has the guts to talk to him, is Marc himself." Sky answered and Marc giggled when everyone looked at him.

"I just want to talk to him, that's all. He's my junior anyway." He waived his hands in front of them like he was defending himself from everyone else.

"At least he still cares." Rylie said and everyone looked at him. "I can feel that he is a really good person, and has a pure heart." He explained. "But I can also feel that he is sad for some reason... Like, he's missing someone dearly." He continued.

"Hmm~ that's because aside from loosing his whole family from the massacre at Northern Dawn... He was also separated from his friend, or should I say... His inspiration in life." Marc explained, so Rylie nodded as an answer.

"Wait a minute... You mean to tell us that he was also a survivor of the Northern Dawn massacre?" Jean asked.

"Yes ma'am, he is." Sky answered.

"Why ask though?" Jade asked with a curious gaze.

"We also have a student here who was also a survivor of that massacre!" She explained and everyone looked at each other with squinted eyes.

"May we see her right now?"

"I'm afraid not. She was one of those five out there." Rylie answered Marc, making them disappointed.

"I just hope that she'll be fine though~ all of them too."

"Nothing to worry ma'am! I'm sure Granger can help them." Jade assured them and the only thing Jean can do it to nod and trust what he said.

To be continued~
