14 Chapter 12: Strange Feeling

Tomorrow is the day that we'll be leaving the academy for the quest. But if you think that we will have no errands to run today, your wrong. Professor Greg gave us something to do. We need to go out of the school to get some things that we need for the journey.

"Everyone ready?" Guinevere asked, and we all nodded. So with our gears on and ourselves ready, we walked out of the room to go to the training room. When we arrived, Professor Greg and Professor Eurie was there.

"Did you bring your crystals with you my dears?" She asked, and we all showed her the Foundation Crystals. "Great!" She smiled happily.

"Here are the things that you need to gather." Professor Greg gave us an old paper and when we opened it, some plants and nature related things were written on it. There was also a carpet like thing thay we need to find.

"We'll be sure to find these things!" Rose said excitingly.

"If you are now ready. You may take your leave." Professor Greg said and we all nodded, before turning our backs on him and started to walk away.

"Be careful my dears. Good luck!" She cheered then after that, we all left totally.

We walked outside the academy doors, and we could see some curious eyes, looking intently at us. But one eye got my attention. It was the the guy earlier. He was looking at me intently, making me look at him and smiled. He just looked away, so I just shook my head, unable to know why he needed to do such thing.

Anyway, as we were about to go out of the gate, some people from we don't know where, emerged right in front of us, so we got on guard and readied ourselves, doing our fighting stances.

Guinevere and Rose in front of me, like they were covering me up, while Mye on the left and Traceler on my right.

"No pressures students! I was summoned by Dean Jean." One of the men said. He looks older than Dean Jean though, and looks like he's the leader of the group. "Here." He said and we saw a paper with the logo of the school.

"Let him in Alpha..." We heard Dean Jean's voice from behind, making us sigh in relief and change our positions. "Long time no see my friend, come come! Sorry for what my students did, you know why~" She explained and laughed like a happy woman, making the other giggle.

"No worries. Traumatized as it may seem?" The guy also laughed and they both walked inside the gates.

"Go on students, take your leave." Dean Jean said, so we put our fist on our chest and bowed before turning around to leave.

Oh, by the way... We brought water for each of us, enough foods and our gears. That's it, for Traceler said that it would be troublesome if we put unnecessary things in our bags, so we agreed to bring the important things only.

"Where's the map?" Mye asked and I put my bag in front of me to get what we need.

"Here!" I lend them and Guinevere was the one who reached out. She opened it and we looked at it.

"So first thing's first, we need to get this..." Guinevere said while pointing at the sword like... Thing~

"An old wonderer's sword." Traceler said and we all looked at him with curious gazes. "It said." And here I thought he knew something about it.

"Thanks for nothing!" Guinevere said and rolled her eyes. Traceler on the other hand didn't reacted back to this.

"It says that it can be found here, at this fine tree that's a bit... Roundy and looks short?" Mye said as she look at the map.

"It might be a bit far from the academy, but I know it's worth it! So what are we waiting for? Let's finish this task for us to take the quest!" Rose said excitedly and raised both her fists up in the air like she was cheering for something, so we all said okay~ before taking our next step.

"This is the right path." Mye said and looked at the map. She was right about it, because the trees in front of us and the drawing matches very well. So we walked in that trail and didn't think that we might get lost or anything...

Granger

We are now half on trail towards Genesis Academy, when Zandre's horse halted.

"Something the matter brother?" Sky asked him and he just shushed her. We also did the same.

It was not really strong enough and audible to hear, but if you try to be silent, you can hear someone crying and giggling at the same time.

"There!" Zandre said, trying to sound as quite as he can. "Try to check that bush." He said and pointed at his left part. There stand a bushy grass that's enough to cover a sitting person.

One of the cavalry stooped down from his horse to creep towards the bush. He tried his best to not sound loudly.

"Heeelp!!!" But after hearing that voice, he was surprised and stomped on a twig making it crack.

"What a wimp!" I said in my mind while cussing in deep breaths. Zandre just cignaled everyone to keep quite, and he also nodded to the man earlier to continue walking forward.

"Please help me!" That is a voice of a man, sounded tortured?

"Oh come on! Don't you even think that you'll escape alive." Well now that was a voice of a woman.

Zandre now went down in his horse and walked towards the bush. He was still quite, but he gave us a cignal to follow him, making us all stoop down from our horses and follow suit.

"Please! I'm begging you... Don't kill me!" The voice said, and then a witchy laugh can be heard.

"Let me think about it first... No!" We heard before hearing another loud shriek. It made us cover our ears. The sound of agony never seemed to end, so with no more patience to keep, Zandre attacked.

"Ouch! What the fuck?!" We heard the girl growl, but our captain didn't flinch at this. Instead...

"Jade. Get him!" After hearing his name, he used his magic to make the man earlier levitate in the air and move towards him.

The witchy-laughed-woman tried to escape, but Marc already blocked her way.

"Not so fast there milady~" He said and she tried to escape the other way. Jokes on her Sky is there.

We're sorrounding her now, so she can't escape.

"What is your grudge against this man?" Zandre asked, but instead of being scared... The woman just smirked evilly.

"Where is the phoenix hidden?" After hearing her question, we were all dumbfounded. We can't talk properly, so she just rolled her eyes.

"Nevermind then! I'll find her on my own! That man is gonna be dead anyways." She said and laughed evilly before casting a magic, to blow a powerful wind, that made us cover our faces. And in a split second, as we look in front of us... None was seen.

"Am I really gonna die?! Not yet, I can't! My family is still waiting for me!" He said, but Jade just waived his head no.

"Don't worry, she is just pretending. Nothing's wrong with you." He explained. "You just need a bit of rest."

After that incident, Zandre requested two of the cavalry to take the man back to the empire to take his rest. So the only cavalry left is at four now.

We continued our journey and teied to forget about earlier.

But I couldn't help but think of her face. Something tells me that we need to be careful around her. For now, I let it slide, that is not our main mission for today. I'll just talk to them about it later.
