1 First meeting

After banging his head on the steering wheel for the tenth time, Cao Bao felt he was finished, for good this time. His car broke.

"Oh man, I paid the nine hundred gas bill last night! Everything that I fed you goes for nothing now?!" Cao Bao almost wanted to vomit blood, but his desire to survive forced him to pull his sanity back from the brink of collapsing. He climbed out of the car, running circles around it and trying to get a signal. When he succeeded, he opened the ride-hailing app for taxis.

Cao Bao added seventy yuan to the account in one breath, wishing that he would be able to get a nearby driver to take the order relatively fast, at the speed of light, to be honest, otherwise this may be the last time he calls a taxi in his life.

To Cao Bao's surprise, someone instantly took his order.

Username - Master Chen.

Before Cao Bao had time to read the brand and license plate of the car, the other party called, "Hello? Dear customer, you are at the north gate of the community, right? I just passed the traffic light and I'm still one kilometer away. Just stay at the entrance of the parking lot and don't move, all right?"

"Yes, yes, I am… Please, hurry up! Cough cough..." Cao Bao ran, at once, all the way to the gate, panting heavily, and for some reason, he was suffering from heart palpitations. He bent down and let out a few choking noises.

In the next second, Cao Bao heard the sound of the oncoming car, and as if seeing the dawn of hope, he raised his head in a hurry…

A Red Ferrari SF90 Stradale stopped next to Cao Bao with the front passenger's door facing him, "Dear Customer!"

"..." Cao Bao's lips twitched slightly, he took two steps back, tilted his head and looked at the driver's seat.

The man wearing sunglasses in the car smiled politely at him, "Hello, DiDi Taxi."

"It's not... you..." Cao Bao was watching him with a confused expression, no taxi driver can afford to buy this kind of vehicle.

"Aren't you in a hurry? Get in the car now, or I won't be able to drive you to the destination on time." The man said and the door of the car lifted automatically.

"Ah? Ah, yes!" Cao Bao suddenly remembered his original purpose, and hurriedly got into the passenger seat, "Quickly, Cao's building, I must be sent downstairs before 8:00!"

"Please fasten your seat belt first, Dear Customer."

If it wasn't for Cao Bao's great love for off-road drag racing, he could really throw up on Master Chen right now.

After a while, Cao Bao got out of the car and barely stood still. He glanced at his watch - 7:55, they made it. If this Master Chen was interested in racing, he should easily manage to establish himself as the captain of the team and take the lead in the death squad.

"You..." Cao Bao felt that five minutes was considered rich, and turned around to say a few words to his savior. However, in the next second, he almost couldn't hold back his stomach, and he hurriedly covered his mouth.

Master Chen raised an eyebrow, "What it is, Dear Customer?"

Cao Bao stubbornly struggled to take out his mobile phone from his trouser pocket and handed it to him, "Leave your contact information and phone number here."

Master Chen's eyes were hidden under the sunglasses and nobody could tell what he was thinking at that moment. After the three seconds of pause, his lips returned to the polite smile, "That's not necessary, I'm just doing my business here and usually don't participate in the races. Besides, it's over as soon as police find out about it."

"So? That's a pity, it's rare to encounter someone driving so fast." Cao Bao smacked his lips and took his phone back angrily, feeling too proud to ask again.

"Actually, if the different car was driven today, it could be even faster."

"Huh?" Cao Bao didn't understand what the man was aiming for, saying that.

The man said farewell to Cao Bao, "Have a nice day, Dear Customer! Remember to give a five-star review, thank you."

After Master Chen left, Cao Bao tiptoed up to the 15th floor. As soon as he got out of the elevator, two passing employees blurted out: "President Cao, good morn—"

Cao Bao winked at them in answer, and made a silent gesture with his finger, "Hush!"

"..." The female employee didn't know what was happening, and blinked nervously, not daring to say a word.

Cao Bao looked at the chairman's office at the end of the corridor. Clear, there was no movement, and he seemed to not hear anything around it.

Then Cao Bao was relieved and rolled his eyes at the two of the employees, "What president, who is your boss? I don't work here."

After speaking, he strode towards the chairman's office.

Cao Bao stuck to the door and listened carefully to the movement inside, and found out that he couldn't hear anything. His heart was tangled, knock or not to knock, that was the question.

He was so absorbed in thinking that he didn't notice the sound of high heels slowly approaching behind him.

"Hello, Ms. Song."

"Good morning, President Song."

Somebody put a hand on Cao Bao's shoulder and pat him lightly.

Cao Bao didn't react at all, he brushed it off, without looking back, "Don't make trouble."

The hand was stretched out again.

Cao Bao was annoyed, "Tsk, don't make trouble!"

"It's me." The cold female voice rang in Cao Bao's ears.

"..." Hearing this sound, he stiffened all over, took a deep breath, and turned around, squeezing out an innocent smile, "Hehe… Sister!"

The black-haired woman with a cold face and arms on her chest, stared at Cao Bao, "What are you doing sneaking like that at the door? Go in."

Cao Bao felt very persuaded, "I'm not late… Is my dad there?"

During this period of time, Song Chunhua looked at Cao Bao up and down, frowning and putting on an expression of strict sister, "Are you here to participate in the sports meeting? Those clothes are not suitable and your hair is not combed. No wonder you didn't dare to go in."

As she reached out and wiped off the rice grains from Cao Bao's mouth, he took a step back reflexively, feeling uncomfortable.

"Sister, we are in a public place." Cao Bao pretended to be calm, and at the same time secretly glanced at himself, in his opinion there was nothing wrong with him.

Song Chunhua shrugged, "Glutinous rice balls, again?"

"Uh huh." Cao Bao didn't dare to look at his sister, he bore his eyes into the ceiling.

She asked, "You didn't drive here, did you?"

Cao Bao looked at her, "My car broke down... But how do you know about it?"

Song Chunhua said matter-of-factly, "I didn't saw your car there in the parking lot. And also you wouldn't be late, when dad called you, I'm right?"

Cao Bao felt like she was holding an X-ray scanner to see through him. There was no privacy in this family. He felt helpless and somewhat like a discouraged bum, "Where is dad? I also have to go to work."

Cao Bao just wanted to leave this place as soon as possible.

"He is in a meeting right now." Song Chunhua sighed, "He asked me to give you something, come with me."

After receiving a thick leather document bag, Cao Bao said, "Thank you sister, I will go back first."

But before he could turn around, he was forcibly stopped by Song Chunhua, "Wait."

"What else?"

"Remember," Song Chunhua said every word very carefully, her aura was oppressive, "Look at it carefully."

Cao Bao nodded, "Okay, I will."

"Also, drive my car. It's parked in the hotel's parking lot. Just go there and take it."

Cao Bao frowned, "I can take a taxi over—"

"When you get off work come right home." Song Chunhua interrupted him quickly.

"..." It turned out to be that. Now that they have arranged it by themselves, he didn't have a choice. Maybe they were struggling with something.

Cao Bao took the keys from his sister and finally turned and walked away.
