89 Chapter 89

The other explorers who heard the order from Rico immediately fled from the battlefield. They also knew that they stood no chance in defeating the emerald Boarman.

Rather than staying there and being a hindrance, it was better for them to retreat. They did not want to be baggage and they did not want to die too. Everyone left except Cade.

"Brother Cade! Why aren't you going?!" asked Jonathan. Jonathan also realized that Cade could not follow the battle happening earlier and he thought that Cade should retreat too.

"I know everyone who can fight the emerald Boarman here personally and I cannot let all of you stay here and I run away. I will fight too," said Cade determined.

Cade knew he stood no chance fighting the emerald Boarman but he could not let his friends fight them alone. He wanted to help too.

"Don't think that I look silly, so I am weak. I am inexperienced but I am… strong too," said Cade. He paused for a second before he said that he was strong because he knew he was not. However, he did not want to leave them.

"Then, your life is in your own hands. No one will go and try to save your ass because we all need to cover our own first," said Shihoon seriously.

Cade and Jonathan were surprised to hear that from Shihoon. Shihoon used to be laid back and joke around a lot and he never was that serious. That was the first time they saw him like that.

Rico and Sera did not say anything. As for Sera, she wanted to fight the emerald Boarman to the end. She wanted to revenge the death of Aera and Muruku.

She was an arrogant and prideful girl but she respected and loved both Aera and Muruku because they saved her life. The scene of them being killed by the emerald Boarman in front of her eyes was etched in her memory and it kept playing itself repeatedly. This made Sera more fired up to kill the emerald Boarman.

As for Rico, he did not agree with Cade staying there but he decided to not say anything as he was focusing on the emerald Boarman. His heart was beating hard implying that Cade was in extreme danger and he needed to save him.

After everyone unrelated fled the island, the five of them who left on the island got serious. All of them were ready to battle the emerald Boarman in front of them.

The emerald Boarman used his awakened bloodline power and purple aura coming out of his body and then, he suddenly vanished but appeared 50 meters to the left of the group when an ice arrow was on his face.

A look of shock appeared on his face but he already expected that something like this would happen. He had already prepared himself and cast a wind barrier skill surrounding his body to protect himself.

The ice arrow shattered after it hit the wind barrier but the pieces of ice exploded and created more ice. The emerald Boarman also expected something like that would happen and he had already retreated a few steps back from the arrow.

However, he could not rest when suddenly, his wind barrier fused seamlessly with a fire. That fire belonged to Sera.

Sera used this method many times earlier to break the emerald Boarman's barrier. Due to the barrier made of wind, it was easy for Sera to turn that to her weapon.

The emerald Boarman however, did not have any counter to that. All he could do was leave the barrier before he was consumed by the fire. He was strong and fast but his defense was not that high. He knew how strong the fire was and staying in the barrier meant suicide.

After he got out of his barrier, he bumped into something. The emerald Boarman was surprised to see that he was blocked by a huge blue shield on his back and then, a cardboard shield on his left.

"What!? How can these two moved this fast?" the emerald Boarman was surprised. From his experience fighting them earlier, Jonathan was slow and Cade could not even follow his movement but now, both of them were fast.

While he was focusing on Jonathan and Cade, he realized that Shihoon had not yet attacked him and was more alert as Shihoon was an assassin.

However, rather than Shihoon, a huge fire shot straight at him. The emerald Boarman was again shocked by what happened. He tried to run away but suddenly, he realized that his leg was glued to the ground.

He immediately looked at his leg and his legs were buried in the ground. "What the!? When did this happen!?" He panicked and immediately let out a strong wind.

The wind blew away Cade while Jonathan was pushed back a few meters, however, the wind was immediately consumed by Sera's fire.

"Damn it!!!" the emerald Boarman roared. Up until now, his advantage against his opponent was his speed but now, his speed was halted by several slow monkeys. Not only that, his wind was useless against Sera's fire.

The fire covered his whole body and then, a few ice arrows came from the sky and hit the ground surrounding the fire and exploded, creating a huge barrier of ice blocking the emerald Boarman from running away.

The emerald Boarman was burned by the fire. He could not use his wind as that would make the fire stronger and he could not run away too due to the ice barrier. The emerald Boarman roared in pain and desperation, the emerald Boarman's body shone.

At the same time this happened, Shihoon approached Cade as Cade was blown away by the wind. "Are you okay?" asked Shihoon while extending his hand at Cade. Cade took his hand and stood up.

"I am fine but, you really can do anything as long as you have a picture with you," said Cade. Cade and Jonathan succeed in blocking the emerald Boarman because of Shihoon.

Shihoon summoned a monster that could teleport and teleport both Cade and Jonathan behind the emerald Boarman. After that, he summoned another monster with ground power and buried the emerald Boarman's legs in the ground to stop his movement.

"I am at my limit now. I can summon two or maybe three if I push myself and then, I am done. We need to finish this fast or else, we won't stand a chance. There are not many people left that we know can fight this Boarman," said Shihoon.

He continued, "It will be nice if there are a few strong explorers still alive somewhere in this world dungeon. If not, we are the only one left. If we lose here, Planet Dineon will disappear too," said Shihoon.

Cade stayed silent as he did not know what to say because Shihoon was right. They were the last line of defense for humans in this world dungeon and if they lose, everyone died.

However, even if Cade knew it, he was powerless. He truly was useless in this battle. He had done nothing he could be proud of.

While they were chatting, the ground suddenly shook and the floating island they were on suddenly broke apart. Due to that, the ice barrier blocking the emerald Boarman was broken and soon, a light shone inside the fire that was burning the emerald Boarman.

Cade and Shihoon were separated from each other due to the broken ground. The same went to Jonathan, Rico, and Sera. All five of them were separated by the broken ground.

Some of the broken ground suddenly flew towards the light in the scorching fire and due to that, the fire was extinguished shocking everyone. Once the fire disappeared, the broken ground flew away and revealed the shining emerald Boarman.

His body was covered in burns and was heavily injured by the fire. "I am the main core. This world dungeon is my world. No one can defeat me in my world!!" shouted the emerald Boarman. He moved his hand and then, a floating island nearby started moving.

The moving floating island slowly gained speed and it went straight towards Sera. Sera was shocked by what was currently happening but she immediately jumped from the ground she was on to evade the huge floating island coming towards her.

However, to her surprise, when she was going to land on another broken ground, the ground evaded her. "What!?" without any footing to land on, Sera fell but soon, the floating island was in front of her.

With nothing else she could do to run away, Sera created a huge fire and slammed that fire on the floating island, hoping to smash it to pieces. However, she failed to do that and was slammed by the floating island.

The floating island pushed her away from the battlefield and then, without her realizing it, another floating island was coming at her. Sera had no way of protecting herself and both floating islands crashed with each other with Sera in the middle of them.

Cade, Jonathan, Rico, and Shihoon were terrified with what had transpired.
