1 The beginning of a catastrophe

Wouldn't it be great if there monsters , magic and fantasy like stuff in the world

How good would be, if you can use magic and also hunt monsters.

If someone asked me if this is honestly okay with me, i would easily answer.

Yes.

"Hey"

Thomas tapped my shoulder with his hands

"What are you thinking about?"

My best friend Thomas

"Nothing"

He was in the first place for the most suitable candidate for boyfriend this year, he is smart, good-looking and rich. I even wondered how i became friends with him

I wondered when i have been having weird dreams for 3 months and it has been becoming strangely more clearly each day.

Suddenly the sirens go off for no apparent reason as we were told to stay calm by the teacher and evacuate the building.

As we evacuate i hear blood curdling screams outside as i see the military helicopters and vehicles passing by our school through windows.

As we were heading downstairs like a herd of animals guided by the shepherd.

"Please stay calm as we evacuate you" said a soldier repeated using a speaker

As my mind was still in a jumbled mass from the sudden change of events.

Suddenly a giant ant comes charging out from a alley crashing into a Jeep causing it to become deformed followed by chaos as more ants swarmed the army. I started running for my life, running nonstop i did not know how long i ran until i collapsed on the sidewalks.

I then lost consciousness.

As i woke up i heard a ringing sound in my head which ignored as climbed out from the rubble and looked around at my surroundings. Too my shock i saw multiple buildings in ruin and almost unrecognizable to me along with corpses of giant ants and destroyed vehicles

with heavy smell of blood and metal.

"Hey over there, are okay hurry your butt over here we are evacuating the city and its survivors. What are you waiting for lets go, don't get me killed." A soldier said as he was shaking nervously and kept looking around as if trying to spot something

1 hour later

As a military truck left carrying survivors who were still grieving over their lost ones and praying to god leaving behind a ruined city with multiple other truck,buses and vehicles under the supervision of the military.

"Hey do you know what happened?" as I asked the soldier beside me

"I do not know, don't ask me okay.They, they just appeared out of nowhere and we were mobilised to operate." The soldier said while crying.

He seems mentally unstable i should not bother him i thought.

I leaned against the wall and closed my eyes trying to absorb what had just transpired into my brain.

no it is not , it will be a bad thing

I regretted my choice, but there was nothing i can do about this catastrophe
