1 The world of Elanthia

The world of Elanthia is made out of 4 big continents separated by a large body of water. In the North, there is the continent of Anabith, the land of magic. In the South, there is the continent of Authen, the land of mystery. In the West is the continent of Amyth, the land of the Divine, and in the East is the continent of Athian, the largest continent, is the mix pot where the Divine, Mystery, and Magic co-exist.

3 out of the 4 continents are governed by an Emperor.

Anabith is ruled by Emperor Eucarious, the most powerful wizard in Elanthia. The continent has 4 recognized kingdoms and was governed by kings under the empire of Eucarious, the dynasty of Cai, the 4th dynasty in the history of Anabith.

Amyth is ruled by Emperor Dexlon, the twin brother of the high priest of the Divine churches of Elanthia, Davon. Amyth is still in their first dynasty, the Dynasty of Lan. However, Amyth Empire is older by a thousand-year compared to Anabith. Amyth has 13 smaller kingdoms ruled by kings.

The newest empire is the Dynasty of Eu in the continent of Athian. It is still in its 3rd generation of Emperor, ruled by the current Emperor Eu Gene, grandson of the founding emperor, Grand Emperor Eu Genesis. The founding emperor is still alive as well as his 4 subordinates (aides) who helped him build the empire 100 years ago. He voluntarily abdicated the throne to his son Emperor Eu Ghant. However, Emperor Ghant died young and left the throne to his son, Eu Gene.

Athian has 7 kingdoms, ruled by kings. Each Kingdom can have 2 to 3 duchy territories. One Duke acts as a representative of the kingdom and stays in the Empire City of Athian.

Athian monarchy is governed by a faction of Aristocrats and Nobility. Nobility fights for the Honor of the nobles and Aristocrats defends the rights of the empire. 4 out of the 7 dukes from the kingdoms are aristocrats, the rest are nobles with hundreds of years of a lineage of royal blood in their veins. Their history ran deep, even before Athian became an empire. And so the noble faction tends to belittle the wealthier aristocrats whose titles were awarded by the founding emperor as a reward to their ancestors.

Yes, I know more about the Empire of Athian because this is what our history class share more to us, students in the Eu Empire Academy.

And yes, I didn't forget about Authen, the land of mystery. It is not called Mystery because nobody knows how it is governed exactly as they don't receive visitors nor do they share anything with outsiders, namely us and the rest of the continents. However, the Empire of Eu does receive representatives from Authen every 6 years during the Elanthia World conference hosted by Anabith. This conference was held every 2 years alternately between the Empires to promote peace and unity among the behemoth rulers of the continents. But the representatives of Authen mostly are representatives from their kings and seemed to be independent of each other. And so we can assume that Authen is a continent made of kingdoms independent from each other.
