5 1.5 Advancing the schedule

Before Wu Jing could respond, he heard an excited shout and looked up.

"A-Xuan you're here!"

Jinyan ran down the stairs directly to A-Xuan's harm, and he gracefully obliged. Wu Jing watched with squinted eyes, his whole personality had changed, and you could feel cold air emanating from him.

The help made themselves smaller, while everyone could feel the change Jinyan and A-Xuan were in their world. They seem to be the perfect couple. Jinyan's midnight-black hair flowed over her shoulder, making her eyes seem brighter.

With her honey-sweet lips and that bright smile, you couldn't help but want to get closer to her.

Wu Jing gazed as A-Xuan looked genuinely happy to see her while pulling her chair, so she could sit in front of him. Does A-Xuan like her that much?

He can't, he saw the ridicule in his eyes when his father brought up marriage, but then again he didn't deny it. Maybe he would rather not mix business with pleasure.

Wu Jing could still remember how the youth was blushing the first time he came for breakfast. He wishes he would only blush for him and no one else, let alone for his scheming niece.

A-Xuan picked a few dishes to put on her plate while saying:

"Sorry we couldn't spend more time together recently, I've been swamped with work."

After picking a few specific dishes, he looked up and smile apologetically. Jinyan looked at her plate and felt satisfied. A-Xuan remembers all my favorites, so it means he has feelings for me.

He was only cold because he didn't know how to act around her, all her hard work has finally paid off. This past month every time they meet she could feel the ambiguity between them, so he must be falling for her.

She looked up and gave him a beautiful smile. Her eyes moistened as she said, touched:

"I can't believe you remember all my favorites."

A-Xuan smiled and said confidently:

"Of course, I do, you're the person that I..."

Before he could finish his sentence A-Xuan stopped himself feeling like he said too much. He coughed and said while blushing:

"You're one of the people I care most about."

He bowed and focused on his plate. While Jinyan felt happy to the extreme, Wu Jing was ready to flip the table. Jinyan was so happy she wanted to get up and scream her heart out, he loves her, A-Xuan loves her.

She finally has him in the palm of her hand, even when he was acting aloof, he loved her all along. At that moment, her whole body exuded pride and arrogance.

A-Xuan caught It from the corner of his eyes and laughed inside. This is the stupidest protagonist he's ever met, how can she fall so easily?

Wu Jing wanted to slap that smug smile out of his niece's face, how can his baby love someone like that? When he heard A-Xuan almost say love, he felt his heart clench in pain.

Every day he can't wait to see him and look into his sparkly eyes, but now those eyes sparkle only for his crooked niece.

There's no way I'm letting him go, it doesn't matter If he loves her now, he'll be mine, and he'll fall in love with me eventually. A flash of determination passed through Wu Jing's eyes.

A-Xuan could smell the vinegar jar from where he was, and was very satisfied inside. Does he think he'll let him lay a finger on him while he still has a fiancé?

If he ends his engagement, then I'll consider him, until then I'll make him see how terrible it is to see without being able to touch.

A-Xuan felt a vibration and checked his cellphone, he answered the text and couldn't stop himself from smiling.

Wu Jing narrowed his eyes and asked :

"What's wrong?"

"It's just Yunchen, he wants to meet tonight. We haven't had a night out in a while."

At that Wu Jing frowned imperceptibly, after all his research on A-Xuan, he could tell that Yunchen was after him. He is also 100% sure that he knows about A-Xuan's adoption.

He is after Cao Empire and to get it he first has to get rid of A-Xuan. He texted someone and put his cell phone back in his pocket. A-Xuan saw that his cellphone was from Xuan Tech and smiled.

After breakfast, Jinyan and A-Xuan left together, and they talked all the way to the university. The mood on the way was comfortable and easy, A-Xuan applauded her inside for her acting skills.

No wonder, she was able to rope in 4 different guys. He can't wait for the day when they all discover how they've been used. A-Xuan has more than enough evidence, he got it a few days after he arrived in this world.

He only held on to it, so he can make her feel like she has him for sure, and when she's confident enough he'll release everything, so she has no more options. He has a stack of incriminating pictures of her with 4 different men, so it'll be easy.

Sensing Yunchen lurking, when A-Xuan got out of the car, he hugged Jinyan tightly and kissed her cheek lightly.

While Jinyan was ecstatic, Yunchen had his fists tightly clenched. Tonight, he'll never lay a hand on her ever again. That fool agreed to have a drink with me, he has no idea what's waiting for him.

By that time tomorrow, Jinyan and Cao Empire will be his, Yunchen turned around and left.

A-Xuan left for Xuan Tech after dropping Jinyan. Usually, he always went to class since Papa Cao would check on his courses like he was a child, but today he has to go.

Wu Corporation already sent a preliminary contract and based on their demand he'll have to spend the day managing the stock to get everything ready.

When it is, he'll send an email, so a representative can come to the company in the following days to sign the revised contract.

I really can't wait to see Papa Cao's face when he discovers Wu Corporation working with Xuan Tech. He'll publish it everywhere to make sure he learns about it one way or another.
