7 The Orc Army's Defeat

Zhu Jianyu went up and slapped Nero. Nero was hit back and shocked. The arrow in his side was surprisingly deep. He tried to pull it out, but had no luck. Zhu Jianyu proceeded to use his hands to punch the life out of him. Every punch echoed when it hit Nero.

Nero swung his metal arm to block the attacks, but Zhu Jianyu's attacks warped the metal arm. Each punch left an indent into the arm. Nero pulled his arm back and saw the damage. The look on his face grew more worried. He was trapped in an inescapable arena with an arrow in his side. 'The victor of this battle.... has already been decided.' Nero realized.

A smile swept across Nero's ugly face. He pulled his axe out and swung towards Zhu Jianyu. Of course, he countered by blocking the swing by catching it in his hands. Nero chuckled and sent out his arm towards the ground far behind Zhu Jianyu. It buried into the ground and didn't seem like it would come out with a small pull. Before Zhu Jianyu could react to the arm being sent out, Nero's body was flung into his and continued towards his arm. Nero wiped Zhu Jianyu completely off his feet. Nero grabbed him by his neck and lifted him off the ground. He gasped for air as he was lifted higher. The fire arena faded away as he lost consciousness.

"This is for trying to fight a master fighter like me." The orc said.

Kimikori was passed out near the door. Persephone was weakened after being thrown through the wall. Lissa and Issa we're out hunting. Jeff and Klaus finally came out of the building. Jeff picked up Kimikori and evacuated back in. Klaus stood at the door. The next second he was gone.

"Where did he-" Nero was saying as noticed Zhu Jianyu's body was gone. He saw the body laying near the door of the building. He looked down and saw Klaus. Nero went to attack him but he kept dodging each attack from the orcs axe.

"Don't just stand there! ATTACK HIM!" Nero yelled since they could now attack with the shield down. The small army charged towards Klaus. He jumped up in the air and yelled "AHOY!". This grabbed the attention of every last orc. All the orcs with bows aimed high and began firing upon Klaus. Hundreds of arrows made Klaus look reminiscent of a pincushion. Once they stopped firing, they realized that a single orc was now in place of Klaus.

"Impossible, one second they were attacking the enemy, but now an orc is there in his place?!" Nero yelled. He turned around to see if anyone else had seen anything, but Klaus was already in the crowd fighting. All the orcs started falling one by one. Slashing through them all with a sword, Klaus was soon to be the only one standing, asides from Nero. In anger and panic, he launched his metal arm at K. Nero had a small smile growing. 'He won't be able to stop this' he thought. To his amazement, it didn't miss. Instead, it went straight through K's body.

"IMPOSSIBLE! HE DIDN'T EVEN DODGE!" Nero screamed. The orc then felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned around and was met with K's purple hair and ninja mask.

"...."

Nero fell to his knees and dropped his weapon. Around him were the bodies of around 30 of his orc tribe. He had led them to their deaths, and couldn't even stop it. His pride about losing his arm lead to him rashly attacking The Survival Sect without proper reconnaissance. Nero then got on his knees. He felt lost. He had no army, he had no pride, and he most definitely didn't have a way to escape.

"Go ahead and kill me..." Nero said in a defeated tone.

"Kill you? Nah, that would be no fun." K said as he punched Nero in the stomach so hard, he was seemingly knocked out cold.

Jeff ran outside, sword in hand to support Klaus. He saw the piles of defeated orcs. Klaus turned to see Jeff's face, and in that instance, Nero got up and started running. Klaus began to run after him but then looked back again at the ruined building that once was their headquarters. He ran back towards base to help Jeffrey, and grabbed the once again passed out Zhu Jianyu.

A week would come to pass before Persephone, Kimikori, and Zhu Jianyu would be fully healed from their injuries. While they were unconscious, Lisa and the others began working on fixing their headquarters.

Zhu Jianyu smelt something burning first thing in the morning. He got up, hoping this time they wouldn't be getting attacked, and headed towards the kitchen. A small note that read "Shiro, you were still asleep when we all went to the market, Klaus decided to stay and is in the basement. We'll be back in 5 hours" was on the table. Zhu Jianyu walked his way down to the basement, where he met Klaus at the bottom. He was meditating.

Klaus looked calm. The darkness of the room concealed his face and his back. Zhu Jianyu sat down and joined him. Before he knew it some time passed, and while he was mediating he learned more about his system that he had been given through an instruction manual Persephone left him. He learned of many branches of skills that would be useful to him. He figured out that he could learn many offensive magic skills that would have provided useful to him when he was fighting Nero. He was going to continue exploring the deeper aspects of his system when he was shaken awake.

"Hey, don't you think they've been gone for a bit too long?" Klaus murmured to Zhu Jianyu. He went upstairs and saw it was almost nighttime.

"I guess... No harm in checking upon them, they probably just got lost on the way back or something?" Zhu Jianyu replied.

He walked outside and figured it would be nice opportunity to try out his new ability "Inspect" that he learned while meditating. With this he would be able to track the footprints of anybody he needed to find.
