Strike Two

Pissed off of what just happened, Andi slammed her car door as she walked out the parking lot. She easily spotted Dan among the rushing students at the steps of the main building because of her reddish curly hair bouncing from her shoulders as she walked excitedly towards her. Clasping her books on her chest she finally reached her. Dan's excitement vanished when she noticed the bad atmosphere looming around her but smiled again just to lift her mood.

Dan beamed at her and kissed her left cheek. "Hi, Andy! Owner of Buzz and Woody!"

"More like I'm one of the scariest monsters from Monster, Inc. right now." She replied with matching scary action and voice, seriously. Sometimes, she can't manage her friends' weirdness that she's even influenced by her.

"Errr. Something must have happened after we talked this morning." Dan pouted her lips. "You became weird." She added. Whoah the guts of this girl to tell that she's weird.

Crankily and with a furrowed forehead and gritted teeth when she was reminded of the recent incident, she replied, "I bumped into an assh**e on the road."

Dan nods her head in understanding. "Let me guess, it's a guy?"

Running out of patience she replied, "Of course it's a guy Daniiee or else I would have said b*tc*!! Ughh!"

"Haha, I'm sorry! It's just that I get nervous when you're mad, see my brain cells even froze." She chuckled at her. "Geez, Andi it's just seven a.m. why do I feel that your patience is fifty over hundred already? What kind of creep did you meet on the road?" They started walking inside the school main building.

She didn't answer her. She left her sunglasses on her locker and get her black leather jacket. She doesn't know why but she easily gets cold due to the ACs high temperature. She doesn't like it when she gets chicken skin. It reminds her back when she has LBM.

Meanwhile, Dan smoothly changed the topic to remove the broody atmosphere. "Anyway, aren't you excited to meet the new student? Everyone is so excited since someone shared his picture in the class group chat and turns out he is very handsome, I tell you." She can tell that she's daydreaming.

She remained silent as she forgot to check her phone when Dan told her this morning. So, this is what it's all about. She didn't notice at first but it's not only Dan who's excited but there's something in the atmosphere when she arrived at the university. They overheard a group of girls a few feet away.

"He is so hot."

"I think I'm in love."

"Those blue eyes are so beautiful."

"Marry me, daddy."

"I bet his delicious as his looks."

"My panty is already wet."

"I think I'm pregnant."

Eww gross! These girls are hopeless she thought.

"Don't tell me you forgot?" Dan asked this to confirm she's right. When she remained silent which everyone knows is normal when she had a bad day. Students don't go near her when she's in a bad mood.

Dan switched her cellphone to show her the picture but before she can, she cut her off "I will eat something in the cafeteria. I need to feed my angry self. Go first to our headquarters and I'll meet you there."

Dan is about to protest but obeyed. She can accompany her but they both knew Dan won't be able to resist eating when she sees food especially, she has someone to eat with. Unlike her, Dan easily gains weight. For her, no matter how much food she stuffs into her stomach, she never gains a gram. That's why she enjoys food so much and lots of girls envy her. She didn't have to bother shaking all the fats away after eating.

She went to look among the menus for today. She chose the lasagna and a carton of milk. She scanned her student card which is hanging around her neck in a lanyard at the cashier. This card is what they use in all transactions inside the university.

She nearly finished her food when she remembered the group chat. She opened the app and scrolled down to find the picture Dan was telling her. She saw the picture and felt he was familiar though he has not seen him yet. There was something in him that she can't put a name. Clipping her planner in her armpit, she held the plate and the milk carton in both hands. She walked to the bussing station and threw the milk carton in the biodegradable bin. She forgot her tumbler at home, so she was about to turn for the fountain when someone pushed her over.

"What the!" She exclaimed dropping her planner on the ground. She was waiting for this person to apologize but nothing. She picked up her planner and walked towards the guy who was drinking in the fountain and hit his head with the planner.

'Uck!' The guy who is still had his head down. She pinched his ear and moved closer so she can whisper in his ear, "Drink a lot and I hope you wet your pants later." As she stepped away, she felt a bit of triumph but still feels grouchy.
