When the night reaches the land

In the 80's there was a killer who would take people to a cabin and kill them while they were sleeping. But one day a man escaped him and he ran as fast as he could while being chased and being yelled at. He ran and ran until he escaped he then told the police exactly where the killer's cabin was the next day they took the man to prison.

That man was my father he was emotionally scarred after that he never trusted anyone anymore he was paranoid about everyone that was around him so he locked himself in his bedroom and only eat the food I gave him and never came out even in his last few moments.I buried him the next day and walked straight back in the house. I heard a knock on the door. As I looked through the door and realized he wanted revenge.
