3 Profound Sky Continent.(2)

A/N: The MC's mother's name is actually Fen Xiyue. Yan Xiyue was a typo. And Abel will be called by his new name going forth.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Overcome with emotion about his new situation, Di Tian just lay there and let the tears flow. Of course, physically, that just translated into his cries becoming louder.
Hearing the increased volume of her child's cries, Fen Xiyue hugged him a bit tighter and shook him slowly in an attempt to calm him down.
"Hahaha! Listen to how loud this one is! I can already see that he'll have quite the explosive temper when he gets older! Yue'er, check his profound veins."
The woman gently removed some of the cloth that was around him and placed her hands on his soft skin as she carefully injected him with profound energy. Any mishap could cause him to be crippled for life.
"He's fine, husband. His profound veins have no problems. Go, call in father and the rest. Tell them to come and greet the newest member of our family."
As if on cue, boisterous laughter rang out inside of the home.
A wry smile appeared on Di Renkong's face as he said quietly, "Looks like there's no need for that. The old man already sensed it."
The doors were pushed open heavily as three men entered the room with large strides. The one in the lead was a seemingly middle-aged with long, flowing red hair, flaming eyes, and a crimson robe embroidered with fire emblems.
Every step he took released a small torrent of heat energy that instantly made the room warmer.
The two men behind him looked similar but they were clearly much older. These two were elders of the Burning Heaven Clan and the man in the lead...
"Father, come take a look at your grandson."
He was the sect master of the New Moon City branch of the Burning Heaven Clan, Fen Juyue.
He was one of the Top 3 Profound Practitioners in New Moon City, standing firmly at the middle stage of the Earth Profound Realm. Even though he was seventy years old, his cultivation realm allowed him to look like he was in his mid 30's.
Such is the power of Profound Energy.
Fen Juyue walked briskly towards the side of the bed as he restrained his overbearing aura and looked at Di Tian with bright eyes.
"Yue'er, what's his name?"
"His name is Di Tian, father. Do you like it?"
Fen Juyue let out another round of hefty laughter as he threw his head back in glee.
"It's perfect Yue'er! Its only fit for my grandson to have such a domineering name!"
Fen Juyue gently stroked Di Tian's head as a gentle expression appeared on his face. Of course, Fen Juyue already inspected Di Tian's Profound Veins and was inwardly relieved when he saw that he was completely healthy.
"Hahaha! Let's hold a banquet for three days to celebrate the birth of my son, Fen Ziluan, and my grandson, Di Tian. Elders, spread the news throughout the clan and start preparing immediately!"
The elders immediately bowed in acknowledgment and hurried out of the room with blinding speed.
Now that they were alone, Fen Xiyue narrowed her eyes at Fen Juyue and said, "Father, you promised me that if I had a boy, you would train him personally. Don't give all your attention to little Ziluan...if you do I'll tell mom."
Fen Juyue trembled slightly at the mention of his wife as he coughed twice and responded, "Now yue'er, you know I would never go back on my word. As soon as he's strong enough to walk, I'll train him daily. He wouldn't even be far behind those heaven-defying geniuses from the main clan!"
Fen Xiyue's face relaxed when she heard those words. Now with this, her son's bright future was even more guaranteed.
"I hope you do, father."
And just like that, Di Tian's life began in the Di Clan, a subsidiary of the Burning Heaven Branch Clan. As soon as he took his first step at 8 months old, Fen Juyue came by every day to tutor him in the profound way.
Of course, he couldn't teach him anything too physical at his current age so he mostly had him doing breathing techniques or practice with a small wooden sword.
As days turned into months, and months into years, Di Tian's training regiments became harder. At age 8, Di Tian entered the 0th level of the Elemental Profound Realm, the wooden sword was taken away and he finally began training with a real blade. It was also at this time that the [Burning Heaven Secret Arts] was first introduced to him.
But unfortunately, that was when his family found out something incomprehensible about him. He was unable to learn any profound arts!
No matter if it was a low-grade art or the [Burning Heaven Secret Arts], as soon as the energies entered his body, they would be destroyed by some mysterious force!
Fen Juyue realized what the problem was but...it didn't make finding a solution any easier.
According to Fen Juyue's theory, this particular problem only happened when the practitioner in question already cultivated another type of elemental profound art. The only difference was that the new energy wouldn't be destroyed but it would instead cause internal injuries because of the conflicting elements.
The thing was that Di Tian never trained in a profound Art before so the problem didn't even make sense. No matter how many medicines the family used, they were no improvements to his condition so his grandfather could only leave it up to the will of heaven.
Of course, that didn't mean that he abandoned him, he just stuck to teaching him the way of the sword and letting him cultivate by himself the rest of the time.
Di Tian didn't seem to be discouraged by this news though. The calm expression on his face whenever this matter was brought up made it seem like he was almost expecting this to happen. But the fact still remained that without a profound art, a practitioner's profound energy couldn't be utilized to its maximum potential.
The years passed by once again and by now, Di Tian was 16 years old. Currently standing in front of the much older Fen Juyue, Di Tian towered over him in height by quite a bit. His hair had grown out to around his lower back and the bits of immaturity remaining in his face had already been ironed out firmly by Fen Juyue's harsh training.
All that was left was a devilishly handsome young man with sword-like eyebrows, crimson eyes, and hair that matched the color of blood.
Currently, Di Tian wore a crimson set of robes embroidered with flames at the edges of it. His muscles bulged out of it slightly with every small movement he made, causing him to look a bit intimidating compared to his peers.
All in all, Di Tian had grown into quite the fine young man.
As the blistering sun shone down upon the empty Di Clan courtyard and Di Tian's robes flowed in the wind, Fen Juyue couldn't help but to nod his head in approval.
"Tian'er, you finally stepped into the first level of the Nascent Profound Realm after years of bitter toiling. Your grandfather is proud of you! The fact that you can still slightly keep up with your peers even though you are at a disadvantage speaks volumes about your aptitude. Keep it up!"
A slight smile appeared on Di Tian's face as he clasped his hands together and bowed, saying, "Thank you, grandfather. I will not disappoint you."
Fen Juyue nodded once again and smiled. The temperament of this grandson of his was too impressive. It's a pity that he couldn't learn any profound arts. If he could, he would be a genius that even the sons of the main clan couldn't match up to.
"Tian'er, take care. I need to attend to some urgent business so I wouldn't be available to train you for the next few days. Keep up to your current training regiment and don't miss even a day, do you understand?"
"Yes, grandfather!"
"Good!"
Fen Juyue then abruptly left the courtyard, leaving Di Tian standing in the middle of it by himself. Seeing that he was finally alone, a strange smile suddenly appeared on his face.
'I was right. Even grandfather can't read my cultivation level properly. I wonder what he would think if he knew that I was actually at the sixth level of the Nascent Profound Realm. Heh. But these two powers that appeared in my mind at birth are truly too strange. Ryujinjakka, the blade that floats silently within my profound veins and the Inheritance of the Monarch Of Destruction... it has been 16 years and I've only managed to unlock a bit of the Monarch's powers. At least it helped boost my cultivation level a bit. As for the blade, it still lays dormant within my veins. Sigh, it's going to be troublesome moving forward. I just need more practice.'
As Di Tian stood there completely taken up in his thoughts, a figure dressed in luxurious crimson robes appeared not too far behind him with their blade drawn.
"Brother Di Tian, on guard!"
After saying that, the figure swiftly attacked with a longsword wreathed in oppressive flames. Judging by the power of the attack, it was clear that the young man didn't hold back at all.
BOOM!
