There Is Another Person

Ye Yuwei pushed Gu Juexi away from her and he stumbled back a few steps clumsily.

He chuckled in amusement and changed the subject, "How is the progress on the data?"

"I've been scrutinizing the data from the recent months, it seems ordinary," Ye Yuwei reported and handed the datasheet to him. "I've looked through the suppliers that recently terminated their contracts with Gu Enterprise. Two of them still have debts due so I've ordered the staff to get them to clear it."

Gu Juexi took the datasheet and viewed it in one glance. He raised his eyebrows at her as she reported her findings, satisfied with her progress and decision-making.

He especially admired her vindictive and retaliatory attitude.

"What was going on out there when I walked in?" Gu Juexi asked as he was reading the report and datasheet, "Have the rumors about how the incapable Mrs. Gu was parachuted into the company started spreading again?"
