Calm before the storm II

When Lei Hua woke up she was surprised to see Gun Tei carrying Chen Lei in his arms and both of them are sleeping in the couch, Chen Lei must've woken up and cried once more and she didn't hear it.

"Gun Tei" She softly said as she shook him awake

"Mo Gun Tei"

"Hmmm?"

"Sleep on the bed, let me have Chen Lei," she said attempting to get Chen Lei from his grasp

"Don't get up from the bed by yourself" he scolded which made Lei Hua scoff

"I won't fall don't worry and if I do I know that you'll be happy" she rudely replied

Gun Tei quietly left her in her room when Chang Xi arrived. Both of her children are happily sleeping inside their own cot.

"Madame let's go down for breakfast all of the maids returned last night" Chang Xi explained and Lei Hua responded with a nod

When they went to the dining area she saw Gun Tei busy with his laptop. Since he has been on her side the whole week it is not a surprise that he is behind all the work that needs to be accomplished.

When she was sat on the chair he closed the laptop and set it aside, he gestured to the maid to serve the food.

A couple of medicinal soup was placed in front of her. If there is one thing that tops the things that she hates it would be any food with medicinal herbs.

"Can I have a plain porridge?" she asked which made Gun Tei glare at her

She rolled her eyes and picked up the spoon to take a sip from the soup.

Surprisingly in this Era, the medicinal soup is delicious compared to the bitter and bad tasting soup from her time.

"You like it?" he asked

"En"

"It's good for breastfeeding," he said which made her cough

"My milk is enough"

"It's better to have more" he answered which made Lei Hua smile arrogantly

"Why do you want to share with the twins?" she asked

This time it was Gun Tei's turn to choke on his own food.

"Y-you!" he exclaimed his ears turning red which made Lei Hua smile more barbarically
