"Rose Carson wake up now, you will be late for class and am going to leave without you" my older brother Danny shouted and threatened from downstairs. I forced my eyes open as I lifted myself off the bed, have be having strange dreams lately about a white wolf and a red eyes alpha"am awake" I responded knowing fully well that my brother can leave without me for real

I will be seventeen by next week which also mean I will be able to find my mate this week so that my first time shift will not be as painful as it's supposed to be, my wolf will be relaxed and calmed for the . Talking of mate, am a werewolf and the beta daughter to be precise. The name of our pack is sliver pack which is being led by Alpha Jasper

I entered into my bathroom, quickly have a shower, brush my teeth dressed up and come my hair, I hurried downstairs to my parents and impatient brother, he might disappeared to school without me again like he usually does

"Good morning mum and dad" I said hugging them

"Roseline we are getting late, the alpha will be mad at me" Danny said impatiently, he must have be mind linking with him before

We left home riding my brother new car, I can't wait till I finally get my car and stop depending on my brother to give me a ride everytime but that won't be possible untill I meet my mate

My brother is still angry at me for making him late, so he ignored me and I just plugged in my earphone playing music before drifting slowly into my dream world. The sound of a slut screaming my brother name woke me up from my nice nap, I hissed, is it not too early to be bitchy, I opened my eyes and that was when in I discovered that we have gotten to school already, I rolled my eyes as she throw herself on my brother. I just let them be because have gotten used to it and just walk away from them moving into the school building. This is it, I don't have any friends in this school except for Bryan who is travelled to get to know his mate miranda better, my brother makes sure no male guys come close to me and the girls are busy crushing on him and his friend.

I walked into the Hall to drop my things and get ready for the first class but then the most amazing and wonderful scent hit my nostrils, it was really captivating, the scent of musky wood, fresh air & fresh grass was so strong that I knew that instant that my mate was really close by and I need to find him. I jumped in excitement as I quickly take off to look for the owner of the wonderfull scent, I haven't meet the person but I sure know I already love him already, after all, the person is going to be my mate.

"Mate" my wolf said wanting to come out and look for the person

"I already know that" I answered her with so much excitement

I sniffed into the air to know where the scent is coming from while I start to follow the scent, people in the hall was looking at me with some weird expression but who cares right now, I just want to find my mate, I kept walking and my leg led me to where the school gym is but at that moment I caught myself staring into the eye of a handsome and tall man I never see before and I can't wait to get to know him, with the power radiating from him, he must be an alpha

"Fuck, that's him, that's our alpha, my brother best friend" I screamed to my wolf

My wolf just kept beaming ignoring what I just said "mate" my wolf said again "go to mate now, don't just stare at him"

"I don't mean to stare at him, moreover why is he ignoring me like he did not feel it too" feeling embarrassed as my cheek turn red but also a slight pain

" Why are you looking at my guy like that"the voice of Brenda startled her and that Moment I felt a really sharp pain in my heart, he already has a girlfriend, he did not wait for his mate "am not staring, am just waiting for my brother here" that was the only lie that came to my mind, moreover I don't want to look like a weak lady in front of them, without waiting for her reply I immediately ran out of the gym room

Jasper POV

I have be looking for Danny every where but can't find any traces of him, I mind linked him but all he said is he was on his way that his sister makes him late. I have not meet his sister cause am always busy with once thing or the other. we have some work to do, have be getting a threat letter lately which I finally want to share with him. As the alpha of my pack and he being beta, we have some assignment we must do before class begins and he should know that without making his sister interrupt his job, I will whoop his ass one day for sure.

I went into the gym room where we already agreed to meet but since he is not here, I decided to wait for some minute and then to go check the car park when the most amazing scent of peach and strawberry hit my nose. I knew what it means instantly and I was immediately angry cause I wasn't ready yet

"mate, we found her at last, go to her " my wolf said as he keeps jumping.

" we don't want one yet and I love my girlfriend, I can't have her yet and you know the reason" I barked at him

"but I want her I told u not to cheat on our mate but u don't listen to me, we can protect her together"

I shut him down, he just doesn't agree with me and there is no need arguing with him, I lstared back at her and she kept staring at me she looks so innocent and I know I will protect her with my life, even if I have to do it from afar.

She kept staring at me as if we are in a staring contest but I didn't move any inches to acknowledge her presence ad my mate until I saw my girlfriend Brenda walk up to her, I pray she doesn't tell her she is my mate, I signed in relief as I listened to their conversation, advantage of being a werewolf, our ears is really good in listening at a far distance .

I saw her walk off in a hurry and Brenda came to hug me "baby, I missed you, didn't know you are in school already"

That moment I was disgusted by the hug cause she is not mymate and my wolf isn't helping cause he kept nagging at the back of my head " am sorry, but I needed to see Danny first"

Thank God, Danny choosed that moment to walk in and save me from unnecessary stress with this clingy slut.

Hold on, that was the first time am seeing Brenda as a slut, what's going on with me, I ignore it and face Danny "guy, must you always be late at everything"

"Am sorry, but I can't ignore a quick quickie at the car park" he said, that explain why he is looking tattered like someone who isn't coming from home. I smirked as he choose to ignore Brenda on purpose he never like Brenda from the beginning and he never talk to her.

I faced Brenda "babe, am really sorry but I got to go" I ignore her disapproval about me going and kissed her lips and drag Danny out of the gym room immediately"

"Guy, what the hell, that was the first time you ignore your girl" Danny call out, he is really suspicious, the beta role really suit him

"That is because I have something far more important to do other than some teenage romance"

Wow, that's strange and weird, since when, but at least I won't have to stand her today"

I would have get angry at what he said about Brenda but for the first time I didn't care, all I could think about is my mate and who the hell she is "let just get to what we have to do and stop whining like a girl"
