15 years later~

"Aphrodite, can your ass back here in the kitchen and finish up your chores this instant!" scream the one and only Mrs. Tiger. The only reason why she is screaming at her was because Aphrodite is a rebellious kid that knows no danger and she will do whatever she wants till her heart content.

You see, she went through a lot and she is currently living in a foster home because her so called father, Mr. So Not Important think that it was the right choice to do so. Her mother died in a car accident after having an argument and her mother had enough with it and wanted to be done with that useless man who cheats on her and come back trying to swoon her back. This is because, Aphrodite's mother is the only one that is keeping the family whole and the only person that has not given up hope yet.

Aphrodite hated her father so much that it is very venomous for her to even mention him! She remembered back then when she was only 15 years old where she and her mom was in the kitchen cooking because that's the only thing that the two of them will do with her mom having the free time. And by free time, it meant her off day. A day where she doesn't have to go to work. The only time where she wants to bond with her daughter because she have not get the chance to do with her being consistently needed at work as she was the head chef at a small bakery in town.

While her dad, well, let's say, he disappear most of the times from their lives. Her dad is the Executive Manager of Monsoon Enterprises. He may be a executive manager but his attitude is so poor that people that closest to him loses their respect on him. This is because he is not only a womanizer but also a cheater and a liar and also a sweet talker and a person that your mother would warned you not to be friends with. You must be curious to why he was being describe like this right? Well, after his sixth years of marriage to lovely Mrs. Jessica Honey, which they also had a lovely child whose name is Aphrodite Darling, he started coming back home late and would always says that he have work so he wont be back home. But in reality, he was out partying at Night Color Bar Club with chicks in body con dresses coming up to him and they dance the night away as their hands are like snakes roaming each other body. When the temperature get too hot, he will find the nearest hotel and get a room and you know what happens next.

Rumors like this fly very fast as one day these rumors reach Jessica's ears. At first she couldn't believe her ears hearing them. As she knows her husband is not a man like that. So that night, she wanted to ask him for reconfirmation just so she can quickly put this subject aside. Is not that she does not trust her husband, she trust him completely and blindly too because that is what love do to us all. Sp that night came....

"Dear, can I ask you something?" Jessica looked at her husband who is currently on his phone texting while she is sitting across of him on the sofa. All he does was gives a little "Hmmph," totally ignoring his wife's present.

"Have you done anything behind my back?" Deciding to go straight to the point as she knows that's how her husband character is. Someone who have no time to waste and always goes straight to the point.

"What makes you say that?" He finally looked up from him phone and showing her a look that says ' you better don't ask anything that you will regret'.

"It's nothing. It's just that, I've heard this rumors saying that you have been doing sinful things. And - " Before Jessica get to finish her sentence, he cut her in.

"Woman, listen here! I do not wish to hear something like this coming from you! We have been married for 6 years and don't you have trust in me?"

"I - I -"

"Whatever, you are nothing but a pain in the neck anyways. All you do is cook and give your attention to the brat and not me. And I have been telling you that I am at work working my ass off to support this family and all I get is you having your suspicion at me and my actions?!" He is so angry that his face starts to turn red but his wife just sit there stunned and speechless. She was thinking hard like, 'he have changed', 'he is not like this'. 'did I do something wrong?' and 'why?'. These were the thoughts that has been running through her mind trying to comprehend on the situation that just happened in front of her.

Seeing her dumbfounded reaction, Mr. So Not Important walks out of the living room leaving his phone behind and walks straight out to the kitchen to find himself something cold to drink. While he was in the kitchen, his phone keeps on beeping. Can't help feeling curious, Jessica Honey walked towards the direction of her husband phone to look at who have been messaging him. When the name Audrey pops out with the messages that said, "Have you tell that bitch yet?"

'Tell me what?' She thought. "When are you gonna tell her that you are gonna get a divorce? I am after all pregnant with your child and you promise! Babe, hurry up and get it done! I miss you!" At this moment, Jessica's face paled. 'How can he do this to me! After all this years, I have been patient to him and this is what I get in return?' Anger starts to boil in her veins and every parts of her body. She storms into the kitchen seeing red and shows the phone to her husband who is holding a cup of water iced lemon tea in his hand.

"WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS! HOW DARE YOU DO THIS TO ME?" She screamed at him feeling like someone has stabbed her with a knife and hearing her heart breaks to million pieces.

When he saws what was written on his phone. His face got paled and only for moment where cold sweats breaks on his forehead but he quickly took charge of the situation and said, "Is not what you think." Putting the cup down on the table top and walks towards Jessica's direction.

"STOP LYING AND TELL ME THE TRUTH? SCARED TO TELL THE BITCH THE TRUTHS? YOU FAIL TO INFORM ME THAT YOU HAVE BEEN LAYING AROUND WITH ANOTHER WOMAN AND GOT HER KNOCKED UP WITH A CHILD! WHY! WHY YOU DO THIS TO ME? WHAT HAVE I DONE TO DESERVE THIS FROM YOU?" Finally tears starts to streamed down her face.

"Honey, is not what you think really. This is a joke. I did not get her pregnant. In a matter of fact, I don't even know her." He said trying to take a step closer to her. Instead, she look at him as if he have grown another head. "DO YOU EXPECT ME TO BELIEVE YOUR LIES?"

And that was when a slapped across the face was heard. He slapped her. "ENOUGH! YOU BETTER CONTROL YOUR EMOTIONS OR ELSE....." Jessica is holding a hand on her cheek where he had slapped her. When a man raises his hand on a woman, he is no longer a human not a gentleman. This is because, if he dares to raise his hand once, he will raised his hand again and again and soon turned into a abuse.

"Why can't you just tell me the truth? Is is so hard for you to do that? But is not that hard to shoved your dick up into another infected pussy!" She screamed in tears and anguish anger. He was obviously stunned by her words.

At this time, Aphrodite came to the kitchen to grab a cup of milk but upon hearing her parents fighting. She stop dead in her track and listen. "GET OUT FROM MY LIFE! I NEVER WANT YOU ANYWAY! YOU ARE ONLY USEFUL TO ME WHEN I NEEDED FOOD AND MONEY AND FAME. THANKS TO YOU, I HAVE THAT NOW!" His words have cut her deep. Imagine you married to a man that swear to keep his vows till death but here doing things that hurt the other. All those years spent with this guy finally made her notice that she does not even know him at all.

Jessica wiped her tears and said, "I'LL GIVE YOU YOUR WISH. YOU WON'T EVER SEE ME AGAIN NOR APHRODITE AND I WILL MAKE YOU LOSE YOUR PLACE IN THE COMPANY AS YOU CLEARLY FORGET WHO MY FATHER WAS! AND YOU CAN GO SPEND THE REST OF YOUR UNFAITHFUL DAYS WITH THAT BED WARMER!"

With that she walked out of the kitchen grabbing the car keys and purse with her. Upon seeing Aphrodite ears dropping on them, she did not hesitate at all to leave this so called 'home'. She even called her dad about the incident that happened and she will be on the way to his house as that is the only place she is able to go now.

As she was driving down the road with tears in her eyes and Aphrodite sleeping at the back seat. How she wish that she never have met that useless son of a bitch at all. Her heart wouldn't hurt so much. Her mind was on the memories that they had on all those sixth years of marriage before he started coming back late and occasionally only make it back home once or two for a fresh pair of clothes. He will be home for a few hours before heading back out again.

Jessica did not pay attention at the road at all as she slipped into the opposite pathway of the road and rammed into a truck!

SCREECH! BAM!

Aphrodite hates replaying back her memories. She hate the feeling of losing her mother because her mother was the one who have the gut to bring her along and take Aphrodite with her out of that place. A place where once it was called home. Her grandfather, Papa Brown, was the best but he is old now and hardly have the ability to take care of himself. So, he left his heritage and wills to her and later on died on old age. While her mother died because of low blood pressure as that is a major crash and it was lucky enough to pull the both of them out from the vehicle before it blows up.

She sigh and looked up at the sky, How she wished her mother was here right now. She have so much to tell her but she doesn't have the time to allow her to do so. The only words that came out from her was, "Mummy, I miss you!"
