The bride is an assasin

Alexis laid on her bed thinking about last night, Brad had visited her, they spent hours talking and teasing each other before having wild sex

Brad was loving, kind and caring, not once had he ever cheated on her for the two years they dated, he was every girl's dream, Alexis sometimes felt she didn't deserve him, she had a dark  past, a past she could never share with anyone, deep inside she knew Brad would not love her if he knew this secret, he deserved to know but she couldn't bring herself to tell him, they were gonna get married in a week anyway

"He doesn't need to know" she constantly told herself

She wouldn't survive it if Brad left her before she met Brad her life was a mess, she was beautiful on the outside and ugly on the inside, her life was bleak, he added colors to her life and gave it a new meaning, he made her happy

And she wasn't going to give that up because of a messed up past

Alexis stood in front of the mirror combing her gorgeous black hair, she had changed so much in two years, she was actually happy

Two years ago she was killing politicians and selling drugs for the deadliest drug kingpin in America her foster father Don Pedro

Before he adopted her from the orphanage, her dream was to have a family who will  love and protect her, unfortunately Don Pedro wasn't that kind of family

He simply wanted someone whom he could trust and control to handle his private deals and who better than a nine year old orphan girl, he groomed her to kill, steal and destroy

Growing up when obeyed his every desires because she wanted him to love her and she thought he did love her, until she met Brad he showed her what true love felt like and for the first time in her life Alexis felt loved

She wasted no time in running away from that monster and starting life afresh with Brad, the only thing she now wanted in life was to become Brad's bride.

Stepping out of the house she noticed someone lingering around her house, she couldn't Make out his face because he wore a black hoodie, if there was one thing Alexis Pedro hated it was stalkers.

She got down from her car and approached the guy, on seeing Alexis he ran away, that made Alexis more suspicious, so she chased him

"Wait, don't run" she yells at him

But he ran even faster and just as he was about to cross the road a car hits him from behind and he dies on the spot, Alexis opened her mouth in shock at the sight

"Why didn't he stop, why was he so desperate to run away from her, was he someone from her past life, did he send him to stalk her?"

These questions lingered in her mind as she watched the dead man being put into an ambulance

The man driving the car walked toward Alexis, he also looked shaken at the sudden occurrence

"Hello, who was he and why was he running so carefree" he asked Alexis in a soft voice

"I don't know" she replied

She looked up at him and was stunned to see the most handsome man ever, his eyes were strikingly blue, his golden blonde hair sat perfectly on his head, his body was so well built he could easily be mistaken for a model and his lips oh God those lips

She imagined kissing those lips, running her hands through his golden hair, touching his....

"Are you okay?" The stranger's sudden question brought her back to reality

"Am fine" she quickly responded"am just shaken by all this"

"Sorry, this is indeed sad, I just hope they find his family am peter by the way" he says warmly

"Am Alexis"

They shake each other, Peter's  hands were soft and warm, she imagined those hands rubbing her skin

"Get a hold of yourself woman" she mentally scolded herself

She loved brad and she wasn't gonna let lustful desires mess with her mind, she was sure she had never seen peter before but something about him seemed familiar

"Do you want me to drive you home?" Peter asked

"Don't bother, I live really close" she replied "and I should be going now"

"We should meet up some other time, you seem really cool, I'd like to know you more" peter asked shyly

It was quite tempting but Alexis knew being friends with strangers was a bad idea for her especially a stranger this hot... Damn he looked like Adonis with perfectly sculpted face outlines

But she wouldn't trust him, she couldn't,

" he might look like a god but am getting married in a week, the last thing I need is distraction" she told herself

So she braced up and turned down the handsome mister

Peter was a bit hurt but he wasn't gonna give up easily

"If we meet again coincidentally will you go out with me?" He asked

Alexis smiled, she felt she would never see him again at least not anytime soon, so she agreed to his deal to get him off her back.
