The Boy Named Amon

In a small city located in the far edges of a small kingdom, you would find a small shadow weaving throughout the bustling crowd.This shadow moving forward with ease, though not because of its foul stench, nor the grime covering it as if it never head the concept of a bath, but because of its smooth movements. It moves between each civilian with practiced ease, not eliciting a response, as if not even there and them not realizing that they would be spending frugally for the next few days. The shadow moving with haste as being chased dips away from the crowd into an abandoned alleyway with a wide toothless grin,mainly missing its two front teeth, showing the visage of a young boy between the ages of 8-10, not really being able to tell with all of the dirt covering his face

Looking at the small and dirty bag in his hand you could see the clear excitement on his face portraying the innocence of a child that otherwise was not visible in the countenance of this young orphan who has witnessed the harshness of life. A child left behind by war heros and forgotten by those whose debts have long been overdue. Since the tender age of five, this young boy has been surviving on his own, within the large city, after losing all he owned to ungrateful dogs that were once taken care of by his parents.
