58 Chapter 58: The start of the change

Bright sunlight assaulted his closed eyes forcing a groan from his mouth. Lucien struggled to open his eyes and glanced at the ceiling in confusion for a few seconds. His mind was still groggy as he recalled the strange dream he had . 

Is it right to even call it a dream? He didn't know. A part of him tried to ignore it, but deep down he knew that he couldn't. It wasn't a simple dream, whatever was inside of him, was real. 

Lucien massaged his eyes and forced himself out of bed. Moon was already up and about, he cast her a simple glance and moved toward the bathroom before he paused abruptly. Something was not right. 

Lucien quickly shifted his attention back to Moon. A strange aura, or was it mana, surrounded the white cat. He approached her, almost in a daze. Moon glanced at him lazily before she turned her head away.
