Chapter 2 Cassandra's Pov Cassandra's Pov

All the while maintaining eye contact with me until...He got to his seat at the back.After Mr White had composed himself,Class resumed much to Everyone's dissapointment.

Through out the class, I felt an intense stare on me and i just knew without having to look back that it was prince Xavier.After class was over,I was in my own world thinking about my parents,I didn't even notice the fact that everyone had gone for their other classes.I remember Amber telling me she was going somewhere but i didn't really tune into the Conversation.

My red hair framing my face and i was lost in my own pain.I was so focused that i didn't realise that someone was touching me until i felt a trail of electricity shoot through my body bringing me out of my reverie. I quickly glanced up only to see prince Xavier.

We locked eyes and i refused to look away. He must have sensed my admission not to look away because he just smirked.He used his hand to pull my hair away from my face and i felt myself blush,Our eyes still locked on each other.I hurriedly stood up and averted eye contact. I hurriedly and clumsily curtsied before hightailing it out of there. I hurriedly grabbed my bag and just as i was about to leave he pulled me back.

I clumsily looped my arm around his neck.We just stared at each other,neither one of us looking away. I quickly tried to grasp some form of semblance." Y...your highness",i stuttered trying to get over the feelings travelling around my body.I tried to untangle myself but he held on tighter and i just looked down, staring at my shoes and wondering if i should get new ones.

He lifted my chin back up and our eyes met. I suddenly snapped out of the magic spell he had trapped me in.I pushed him and due to the fact that he was momentarily surprised,I was able to break free.I steeled myself and spoke in a firm tone.

"Your highness,please do not assume i am one of your fan girls.I do not appreciate being touched like that especially by someone i do not know and without my permission". I swiftly whirled away,about to make my escape before he held my hand back.

"That's okay,i thought i had your permission but even then i do not need it because i saw the permission in your eyes and the eyes they say hold the answers the mouth cannot say",He said in his deep Aristrocratic voice

I gritted my teeth and turned away from him feeling my anger surfacing.

"Be that as it may,your highness i would appreciate it if you could let me go now".

Before he could respond,we were interrupted when 3 boys barged into the class.

" Hey Xavier lets....",They kept quiet as they saw the situation they were in.

Xavier reluctantly let me go and i was about to hightail it out of there, before i did something dumb,like oh i don't know kiss the crown prince of Caledonia.

Oh great,the boy who barged in said. "We have found someone to show us around".

"What are you saying Maxwell,the girl looks like she's about to practically run out of here".I instantly liked that guy.

He stepped towards me and said, "Tariq,the name is Tariq all the while running his hand through his hair and i practically swooned.Whats the name beautiful" ,He said with a deep Aristocratic voice and after a while i realized my mistake. These were the 3 best friends of prince Xavier. They had been friends since birth.Prince Tariq of ireland,prince Maxwell from Egypt and finally the cold hearted prince Drake from Italy.

But Xavier was the most powerful among them due to the fact that Calendonia was the 2nd biggest country. "Good day your highnesses", i said with my eyes widened.I curtsied and was about to scurry away when a voice rang out saying,Wait.

I slowly turned around only to see that Xavier was the one who told me to wait.

"Yes prince Xavier",i said with a bit of an attitude and i saw Prince Maxwell and Prince Tariq chuckle."You will show us around the school",he said with a hint of finality."B..but Prince Xavier i uhm actually have some things to do,that can not be put on hold",i said straightening my spine and lifting my head giving the impression that i was confident.

"Oh it can't be put on hold even for royalty",He said while chuckling. I turned to go when he said "Cassandra Emiliano,you will take us around the school",he said while walking up to wrap his arm around my waist.

"Your highness,this is not appropriate and i do not like this.There should be no personal contact between us,besides i dont want my boyfriend to see us and get the wrong impression".

When he heard boyfriend,his eyes lit up with rage and he clenched his jaw.Of course i didn't have a boyfriend but he didn't know that. "I am actually busy right now but i will take you around the school during study hour.Goodbye your highnesses and Tariq",i said smiling at him.I walked out of the class and went to my literature class.Luckily she was sick so it was basically a free period for us.

I had peace,that is until Maxwell sorry Prince Maxwell opened the door to the class and the usual adjustment of clothes started again. He walked all the while winking at some girls until he reached my seat and instead of continuing to the back,he sat next to me.

" I have a proposition",he said to me while smiling but little did i know that his proposition would change the course of my life.
