5 Chapter 4 - Astridous

After a year .

" Zeroth, your training is now complete . I have taught you to Summon two of the most strongest demons I was aware of. During your training you have improved a lot in your fighting and intelligence abilities. You can now continue your journey . " said Alan

" Thank you, master" , replied Zeroth. Then he turned towards the exit and moved on.

When he crossed the waterfall , he saw that the entire forest was covered with flames . Zeroth then quickly made his way to the village and saw no one was there. He was shocked to see the destruction caused to the witch island .

Then suddenly out of nowhere a person attacked Zeroth. To know about the cause of the destruction and about the people of the village , Zeroth surrendered himself to the

stranger.

The man took Zeroth to a place , where he saw the villagers were locked up in a huge cell. Then he noticed that there were about twenty people outside the cell , they wore the same red coloured outfit as each other and had a black armband with a white dragon imprinted on it . Suddenly he recognized two faces from that group , it was Aleisa and Gary.

The man then called on his members and said , " I saw this person roaming in the village and brought him here ."

" Aren't you that boy from the forest" asked Gary.

" Yes , I am" replied Zeroth.

" Now I remember everything clearly, you were the one who Killed Steve. We told you that we will make you regret for not listening and interfering with the Dark sect, see what we have done to this village. now have you realized how powerful we are, Soon we will kill you and the villagers and then we will take over this place" said Aleisa, who stood next to Gary.

"I will not let your plan succeed " said Zeroth. Then Zeroth pushed the man holding him and punched both his hands together and said " Summon, Astridous ."

Astridous looked like a human and was as tall as Zeroth . He had golden hair , brown eyes , wore a pair of black spectacles and was wearing a black suit. He was a S class demon and was holding a black gun .

" Shoot, Astridous " said Zeroth.

Then Astridous stood there for a moment analyzing his opponents, and then he raised the gun to his shoulder level and whispered,

"comet blast" . Then he fired the gun ,pointing towards the sky . Then a number of bullets came out at once and at great speed hit the members of the dark sect .

After taking a direct hit from the bullets, the members of the dark sect became unconscious and fell hard on the ground , however Gary was able to avoid the attack and said , " After you defeated us , I trained everyday to take my revenge and today the time has come to fulfill it , I can't be defeated by someone like you ."

Suddenly the atmosphere around Zeroth changed, and he found himself inside his home and saw his mom and dad were seated in their room. Then there was a knock on the door , Leon stood to open the door, when he opened the doors , a man entered the room and with a sudden movement attacked Leon with a knife and killed him. Then that man turned towards Leon's wife, who was still in shock, then he stabbed her with the knife and killed her. He then turned and started walking towards Zeroth and said, " I had to kill them because of you, you are the cause of their death, and after killing you I will successfully complete my purpose of coming here. "

Zeroth couldn't believe , what he had just seen and heard , he thought, " This can't be true, it is just an illusion " . Then the man with the knife attacked Zeroth. Zeroth swiftly dodged his attack and pushed him far. Zeroth then used his entire power and concentrated deeply , then within seconds the illusion was broken.

Zeroth then returned to reality . He was extremely angry and threatened Gary , " I am gonna kill you for messing with my mind , Astridous kill him " .

" Impossible , how were you able to break through my illusion " said Gary shockingly. Astridous then raised his gun towards Gary and said, " Solar blast " , and fired his gun . A blue coloured laser bullet came out of the gun. The bullet pierced through Gary's chest, then Gary fell hard on the ground.

Zeroth thanked Astridous, after which he went back to his realm. Zeroth then opened the gate of the cell and set everyone free.

Then the next day , everything was back to normal as it used to be. The village chief thanked Zeroth for saving them and gave him an ancient sword and said , " This is a very powerful sword , and I hope it would be of use to you in your journey ahead " .

Zeroth was about to leave the village when Eric stopped him and rushed toward him and said, " Thank you for saving our village, I am very grateful to you. I have a request to make , if you like can I accompany you in your journey ."

" But what about the village?" asked Zeroth.

" Now that you have defeated the people causing problem on this island, the village should be safe and furthermore I have adviced the chief to make every villager learn magic as it would protect the village from intruders ."

"Eric, then you can join me in my journey "

Then Zeroth and Eric sailed to Anthacia.
