4 Chapter 3 - Alsion

Zeroth entered the castle and saw an old man seated on a throne . The old man then looked at Zeroth and asked, " Have you come in search of Alsion?"

"Yes, I have ." said Zeroth.

" Those who come in search of Alsion, first must pass a challenge that I lay in front of them. If you pass it i will lead you to Alsion but if you are unable to complete it , you die. Are you ready for the challenge."

" Yes , Tell me the challenge. "

" Many who have come in search of Alsion have died in the attempt. Now, all those dead wizards will come to life . In order to pass the challenge you must defeat them all and be the last one standing. But remember that if you lose , they will begin to fight each other, and the one who survives till the last would be revived and would be allowed to go to Alsion, and you would die and your spirit would also be locked in this castle like the others. So are ready to prove your capability, son of Leon?"

"I am ready" said Zeroth, not quite sure of his decision.

" Well then " said the old man, then he a book , he had been holding, in the air and said " Summon, the dead."

Then Zeroth noticed that the castle was filled with thousands of wizards.

" Now start the battle" said the old man , then the revived wizards started their attack on Zeroth.

Zeroth dodged their attack and he knew he would not be able to handle their attacks for long and thought of taking a lead in the starting and Summoned Pracio. Then Zeroth said , "Pracio turn to the Dark stage and kill them all."

Some of the class A Demon and all of the Class S demons could transform into the Dark stage.

Then Pracio started to transform and grew into a large dragon , his wings and claws now became more sharp. His entire body was now black coloured with a white design on it.

Then Pracio took Zeroth on his back and flew high and then gathered Solar Beam for a time in his mouth till it became very big and them casted it down on the other wizards .

"Summon Ariel and Sicron" said Zeroth.

Ariel and Sicron were both class C demons . Ariel was a ice type demon, who looked like a girl with blue eyes and brown hair. Sicron was a water type demon , he looked like a man with red eyes and black hair.

" Their stats multiply when they are summoned together, Ariel , Sicron use blizzard." said Zeroth.

Ariel and Sicron started their combined attack . Then the entire castle was roaring with the extreme blizzard.

" This should do " said Zeroth. Suddenly he saw a flash of thunder and all his Summoned demons were defeated. Then he fell hard on the ground .

When Zeroth stood he saw a fair man with yellow hair and red eyes walking towards him holding a sword. Zeroth was shocked , the man had taken down all of his demons in no time with his sword, which was engulfed with thunder. Then Zeroth suddenly realized something and asked, " you are Richard , aren't you?"

" Yes , I am Richard who acquired the title of Hell Destroyer six years ago." replied Richard.

" Everyone said that you went missing after you acquired that title ."

" I had started my journey to find Alsion and ended up being dead completing the old man's challenge. From that time my spirit was locked up in this castle . Now , you have come and by defeating you , I will finally be allowed to enter Alsion . I can't be defeated by someone like you."

Then Richard charged at Zeroth, he then landed a direct hit on Zeroth and slashed his Chest. Then Zeroth fell unconsciously on the ground.

After that Richard decided to leave Zeroth in the state he was in and to finish off the others as fast as he could.

As Richard started to walk he felt a tremendous energy being emitted from Zeroth's body and as he turned towards Zeroth , he saw that Zeroth was back on his feet . The thing that shocked Richard the most was to see the spot where he had hit him , had now been recovered.

Zeroth now had pure black eyes with a dark aura around him.

Richard couldn't believe his eyes and shouted "How can this be even possible, how can a human have a demonic aura around him."

Zeroth then In an instant defeated Richard and the rest hundreds of wizards. Then Zeroth came back to his normal self and fainted.

Later when Zeroth opened his eyes he saw saw the old man standing in front of him, "where am I ."

The old man replied, " Zeroth , you are now in Alsion. You have successfully completed my challenge. From now on I am your master. My name is Alan." Then Alan paused for a while and then asked, " Do you remember anything about what happened after Richard attacked you."

"No, I just remember that , after some time I woke up and saw that everyone around me including Richard were defeated and then I again fainted and that now I am here in Alsion" replied Zeroth.

" I thought so , I myself don't have any clue about what it was but you have an extremely powerful aura within you" Alan paused for a while and then continued, " I have evaluated from the fight earlier that you are a summoner type wizard , so from now on I will teach you all kinds of powerful Summon magic and will help you to become more strong."

" Thank you , master Alan."

Then Zeroth started practicing very hard under the guidance of Alan ,to become strong and to know about his parents."
