Sumit was really happy to talk to his mother and father after such a depressing moment, he explained his mother about his dreams and about Gopala, the weird letter, avenging thing, Kanika, Mona, Shania, Ananya being assassinated by a spirit, hearing all this Nidhi was really worried about her son. Even more when Sanjana, the psychologist of the family was also saying the same thing.

When Sumit talked to his father, after hearing all these names and incidents, he was very nervous and fell out of words. Sumit grew more suspicious of his father, who always acted cool, today was out of words. After all the family talk, Sumit decided to go to Mahabaleshwar next month, with Sanjana and Harsh, thinking of receiving some answers from there at least. He felt that all this has its roots in Mahabaleshwar, the "village out of time", as it was known.

Sumit did some research about his father from the Kanpur police records and government files, he found that he had a deceased brother named Ronny Kapoor, who was killed in 2009, leaving him and Sanjana as potential successors of his father. But Ronny had a son, Kabir, whose whereabouts are unknown. Neither the records had any detail about Gopala or any of the 3 women he mentioned.

After going very deep into the record files, in one torn page, he saw his father's name change certificate. In that, it was clearly written that Sanjay Rana has changed his name to Rakesh Kapoor, and the same with Uday Rana, changing his name to Ronny Kapoor. This thing shook him from inside, as he never thought his family would hide such a huge secret from him. He was shattered into pieces. He tried to look more and found the exact answer he was looking for.

The report made it clear. Rakesh and Ronny aka Sanjay and Uday both are from Mahabaleshwar, they were born and had done their schooling in there. Their father, whoever it was, had a huge property worth millions. After their father disappeared, the property was distributed among the two brothers.

And the most disturbing thing of the report, was the DNA test results, of Rakesh and Ronny. The results shouted to him that both were brothers, of the same father, but a different mother. This thing became a nightmare for him. Unable to bear his father's deception anymore, he left the police station and started walking towards the main road.

Sumit was really sad about the fact that his father had a brother, and he didn't even tell about him to anyone. And also he had a cousin, who is currently a Ghost to the public. Most importantly he was afraid that his father Rakesh might be the illegitimate son, that would mean he is an illegitimate heir of his grandfather's multi-million property.

Firstly Ananya's death and then father's perfidy, these 2 combined broke Sumit's heart into pieces. He even found that his father's real name isn't Rakesh Kapoor. It is Sanjay Rana, and about Ronny, it is Uday Rana. Sumit got a feeling that his father is hiding more than these, as he always ran out of words whenever he talked about Gopala. He knew there has to be something.

*FLASHBACK*

When Sumit was 6 years old, he was with his family in his father's farmhouse in Wollongong, Australia. He and Sanjana were playing on the beach when all of a sudden, his father brings a briefcase, which was too huge and heavy for a normal briefcase.

He was overly curious to find out what's inside that thing, but he knew his father won't allow. So he patiently waited until the thing itself came near him. Sanjana was also sitting beside him, she was 10 back then, more mature and intelligent. She suggested to not indulge in these things, as it might cause some unwanted trouble, but Sumit just won't listen to her. "You must listen to me, I am older and I know the best for you, listen to me." Sanjana would always say, and Sumit would always run away teasing her by pulling out his tongue.

All of a sudden, he saw 3 strong and huge men carrying a huge box, were proceeding towards the basemen to keep it there. The box looked more like a coffin than a regular armoury. "Is that a mummy they are carrying ?" Sumit asks in a squeaky voice, making the 3 men laugh till their guts hurt. He waited till they kept it down, and as soon as they kept it down, something weird happened.

A glimpse of green light fell on Sumit's face from the armoury. Rakesh didn't allow his children to see it, as he said it was a heavy deal. So Sumit kept his nose out of it. He saw them lock it in the basement. At night, he snacks into his basement to take a look at the briefcase, as he was overly curious about the green light. As soon as he opened the door to the basement, he was interrupted by Sanjana, who told him to go and sleep. Meanwhile, after Sumit left, Sanjana went down to take a look at it.

*PRESENT*

Thinking about all this, while passing through the rural area, suddenly a RED glimpse ran through Sumit. He was confused, as he usually he saw blue, but RED, weird. When he turned around, he saw a boy, about 18, muscular, well fit, and most importantly...blond-haired was standing facing backwards. When Sumit started to approach him, another red glimpse, and the kid vanished. Sumit grabbed an auto and went away quickly.

On reaching home, he explained everything to Sanjana, who was more confused after hearing the red glimpse, and the blond-haired. Both of them decided to drop the topic and went to sleep. During sleep, Sumit was confronted by Gopala again, who said "Son, I will not be able to contact you from now, Kanika has returned and she will kill all of us, you have to protect us son."

Sumit, confused as ever asked, "Who is she, and why she is behind me and my friends, what does she want?" Gopala, looking as if someone was trying to pull him back, overpowered by the pull, and said: "she is your father's sister and my daughter, and not just her, Shania too." And then Gopala was dragged down to some sort of vortex, which sucked him, rendering him into nothing but dust and blood. And then a huge cry of a spirit was echoing his mind as, Sumit woke up startled, at 2:00 Am.

"Kanika and Shania, father's sister, what?" Amidst thinking all this, Sumit heard Ananya's voice, same tone, same sound, calling for him. "Suggests gets up, I am waiting here." He was awake, fully conscious and well aware of it, he knew he wasn't dreaming, or hearing stuff. But when he looked outside, to his astonishment, it was her, standing there, calling out for him.
