"Mom, yup I got in! I'll be signing the contract tomorrow and start being a trainee on Monday" Diana announced to her Mom trying to contain her happiness
"Yup I will read it, I'll just hang around the building first I love you!" She hung up the phone and took a sip of her iced latte while looking at SW cafe's interior beauty
The chic lights that matches the elegant white tables and chairs with cushions that is fixed horizontally in 3 rows while the caramel aroma fills the space along with the pop songs that makes your body dance and sing.
"This is totally a dream come true" Diana thought
While she's appreciating the cafe 9 tall men entered the cafe
Diana tried to calm herself as she was seeing
MET boy group in real life. She quickly look away at them, took out her phone from her bag and scroll anything in it just to make herself relax and chill and sip to her latte
After the MET ordered they sat at the 3 row, the table behind Diana
"Should I go?" Diana thought to herself "But if I go, that would caught attention, but if I won't I'll probably look awkward here dang it! What will I do?" As Diana is having a mental crisis she didn't realize she was sipping her latte all the way out like a blood thirsty vampire.
"Are you okay?" A girl with blond dyed hair with pale white skin with red lipstick ask her
Diana was startled a little but smiled at her like she's her savior "Yeah, I'm fine thank you"
"I saw you talking to Ms. Chanel a while ago, seems like you're a new trainee I'm Wendy Quinn by the way" Extending her hand for a handshake
They girls shook each other hand that took some of the MET boys attention but they just sat quietly
"I'm Diana, Diana Lee nice to meet you and yeah I'm- I'm new here, but I'm not a trainee yet I- I haven't signed the contract" She replied confused why she's stuttering
"Oh I see, mind if I sit?" Wendy politely ask her
"Yes, of course" Diana agreed with her thanking eyes "Thank God, you came I was having a mental breakdown" Diana thought to herself
"I guess where going to be in one group, I'm also new here, just 1 month ago I'm already practicing with 2 other girls Sarah and Jasmine they're both really nice, I think you're the last one" Wendy started as she sit at the chair in front of Diana
"We never know" Diana answered worrying about the training
"I know that face, are you worrying about the training?" Wendy guess as if they had telepathy
Diana awkwardly nodded and shrug
Wendy slightly tap her shoulders " Don't worry, I will tell you all about what you need, because I really have the feeling that you and I are going to be in 1 group I just need to know your specialty first"
"Specialty?" Diana ask
"Specialty, like what is your talent and power" Wendy clarifying her words
"Oh um, well I sang and my power is blue fire" Diana answered like Wendy is her coach
"Really? OMG! You have the power of blue fire? I mean everyone knows that's pretty rare can you show me? Wait no, we are not allowed to use power aggressively, well what about just a little one maybe?" Wendy pleading her
Diana chuckles at her cuteness and showed her blue fiery eyes and turned it back to brown eyes immediately
"Wa-" Wendy stood up and was about to scream when she realizes where she is and quickly sat down while Diana tries her best not to laugh
"Okay, okay let's go back to the topic" Wendy continued trying to calm herself down "So you have an elemental power I have water power and I am the dancer in the group because it's my specialty but we can all dance, well they'll teach you that anyway" And she slowly made her hot white coffee s small whirlpool that made it look like it's stirring itself to demonstrate her ability
Diana's eyes widened a little and nodded
"So I think you are going to be the main vocalist, sarah is the main rapper, and jasmine is the lead vocalist and I'm the main dancer. Don't worry, you just have to go here before 7am, it usually includes lots and tons of dance practice at the basement, 2 hours of singing lessons, and an hour of rap lessons because I think they will test your skills first before the permanent routine" Wendy finished
While Diana just kept nodding and finally said a word "How old are you?"
"Oh I'm 19 years old, when you signed the contract you will move to our dorm! Ah! I'm so excited!" Wendy clap exhilaratingly
"Cool, I once wished I can try living a dorm when I was in college but unfortunately we didn't, I really wish your predictions are correct. I am currently living in our house here in New York because of my dream, like alone so I really hope so. But right now I just want to go have fun" Diana opened up thinking about herself alone in this country
"Where were you from?" Wendy ask curiously
"Canada, Vancouver" Diana answered
"You're from Vancouver?" A boy in his twenties with shady brown hair dark brown eyebrows with sharp jaws and white fair skin suddenly showed up
Seeing the girls startled faces he apologizes in a flash "I'm sorry, I'm Logan from MET it's just that I'm from Vancouver too"
"It's fine, yes sir I know you. And yes, I'm also from Vancouver" Diana calmly answered
"Bro, let's go we're going to be late for practice -oh hi" another boy that has brown skin, with brown hair showed up
"Oh this is Peter, we really need to go I hope to see you again" Logan said as he turned away
"Well, that's something" Wendy exclaimed and look at Diana who gave her a shrug
Guess all the panic is gone Diana thought to herself
"Shoot my break is done in 10 minutes, hey Diana here's my number call me if you need help or anything I hope to see you again!" Wendy said picking Diana's cellphone from her hands and writing her number and run away
Diana pick up her phone from the table where Wendy left it off and named Wendy's number by its owner's name and smiled a little thinking she just made a friend.
She stood up and walk out of the cafe to explore New York city before heading home
