9 9. It is not time yet

"Which human do you mean?" Sergei asked Ollien.

"The man who is with the Varangian humans is yours," She replied.

"Enjoy your prey and you must remember not to touch my prey!" said Sergei in a cold tone.

"I understand," said Ollien as she stood up and walked out of Sergei's room.

Sergei got up as he walked to the window and looked outside. Tonight he will give the Varangian humans a slight chance to breathe the air of life.

"My lord, the Varangian humans are already in his room. Are you going to see her tonight? " asked Edik, who had just entered Sergei's room.

"Tomorrow. Prepare dinner for me and that Varangian human! " replied Sergei.

There was a wolf's howl, and they had started out looking for prey. To them, vampires are both their enemy and their target. Meanwhile, humans are food for them.

"Take it Ivan, back!" Sergei ordered Edik.

Edik nodded. He walked out and ran as fast as possible to find Ivan and bring him back to the castle. The night was getting late. The wolf's howls echoed even more.

"The lord, ordered you to return to the castle!" Edik said to Ivan, who was standing in a tree.

"Look ... they have realized our presence," said Ivan while looking at the two werewolves who were looking for his whereabouts.

Edik looked in the same direction as Ivan, and he smiled at the two werewolves who were sniffing his whereabouts.

"Do you want to follow those two werewolves?" Ivan asked Edik.

"Not. The lord ordered to take you back to the castle. Tonight is not the right time to hunt," replied Edik while looking for an opening to get away from that place.

Edik took out a bottle from under his coat, and he sprinkled the liquid in the bottle around his body and Ivan's body. He deliberately did all that to outwit the two werewolves' smells.

"Let's go!" Edik ordered Ivan.

Ivan could only follow Edik's orders, even though he wanted to follow the two werewolves with his own two hands. However, he could not simply oppose Edik as all of this was an order from lord Sergei.

The two of them started running fast, and they were trying to avoid the werewolves looking for prey. Tonight their strength was more significant than usual.

Because tonight is a whole moon night, their strength will be even more muscular. So the vampires decided to avoid them for a moment.

The two werewolves kept on looking for prey to satisfy their hunger. There was a howl as a signal for gathering, and the two werewolves rushed towards the roar.

Edik darted through the forest, followed by Ivan, who was always by his side. They also arrived in front of the castle gate. There was the smell of the approaching werewolves.

Ivan grinned. He thought that the werewolves were so stupid that they dared to get close to the vampire castle. He prepared to attack the werewolves who were already visible to his eyes.

"Enter!" came Sergei's voice through Edik and Ivan's thoughts. Sergei used his telepathic power to get the two inside because tonight is not the time to fight werewolves.

"Ivan, we're in!" said Edik to make sure Ivan would not go against Sergei's orders.

Edik pressed a button slowly the gate opened. He and Ivan rushed inside. The door was closed tightly when the two of them entered.

Several werewolves tried to break into the castle. However, it didn't work because the court was already protected so that the werewolves couldn't quickly enter.

The werewolves howled and then tried to break down the gate again. Their bodies bounced off because of the force protecting the entrance. Slowly the werewolves retreated. They would not waste their time hunting and fulfilling their hunger.

In the room, Jelena heard the wolf's howl, which annoyed her. He couldn't close his eyes even though he tried, but he was still awake.

"The howling made me sleepless," Jelena said as she got up and walked towards the window.

Jelena looked outside to see if a beast was roaming outside. She saw nothing but the two men who had picked her up earlier.

She continued to pay attention to the two men. Suddenly one of the men glared at her. That man is none other than Edik. Without thinking, Jelena immediately closed the window blinds and lay back on the bed.

Jelena woke up because someone knocked on her door. She walked over to the bedroom door and opened it. Two beautiful women dressed as saw maids.

"Miss, we have prepared breakfast for you," said the maid with a smile.

The waiter walked into the room and put the food on the table. Meanwhile, the other servant brought a black dress and hung it, so it didn't get tangled.

"What's that dress for?" Jelena asked the maid who brought the black dress.

"This is for you to wear to dinner with Mr. Sergei," replied the waiter.

The two servants bowed as they said goodbye to leave. Jelena nodded. They went with the door tightly closed.

Jelena looked back at the dress hanging by the wall. She walked over to the hanging dress she touched it gently.

"Sergei Nazarova, what kind of person are you?" She muttered.

Satisfied to see and touch the dress, Jelena walked towards the table. She sat on the sofa and began to eat the food that was already on the table.

Ahead of eating her meal, there was not the slightest suspicion about this castle. After finishing her meal, she walked out of the room.

She walked down the castle passageways, and the morning sunshine made her want to take a walk around the castle. Jelena saw a wonderful garden, and she walked towards it.

What a beautiful garden, the flowers grow beautifully. How not beautiful it to find a corpse that had been sucked by a vampire buried underground.

Jelena was content walking in the park, but there was something strange about this place. Judging from the building, it needed a lot of servants. However, she didn't see a single servant.

She only saw two female servants who delivered food and dresses into his room. Jelena decided to go back to the room and wait until it was time to meet Sergei Nazarova.

Jelena passed Ed's room, and she knocked on his door. A few moments later, Ed opened the door and ordered Jelena in.

"Jelena, don't you think there's something strange about this place?" Ed asked.

"How strange? I don't understand what you mean? " Jelena asked Ed back.
