5 5. Screams of Death

The fear inside Anuva was getting bigger, and she felt several pairs of eyes watching him. She tried to stand up but was curious about the needy fluid in her palm.

When Anuva was about to kiss the palm of his hand, suddenly the room lights flashed. She shouted when she saw his palms covered in blood.

"Why are you screaming, honey? Are you looking forward to having fun with us?" said one of the vampires who heard Anuva's scream.

Anuva kept walking backward when she saw a man who was so creepy. His steps stopped when his body touched the door, which was closed tightly.

"Interesting. Edik, give us a bonus meal tonight," said a vampire to his colleague.

Hearing the vampire's words, Anuva couldn't do anything about it. She still looked shocked by what he had just seen.

"You are vampires ...," Anuva stammered.

The vampire grinned. He just looked at Anuva, who still looked fresh. However, he would not touch it because he had not yet wholly sucked up the blood of the woman in his grasp.

Anuva saw some women who were still making love to vampires. She did not realize that in front of her, the many corpses were lying on the floor.

"You guys are already having fun without me," said a vampire who had just entered through a large window.

 "Ivan, the woman is yours!" shouted a vampire, pointing at Anuva.

 Ivan looked at Anuva, and he saw a woman who was still fresh. However, his face looked pale with fear. However, that did not make Ivan lose the desire to love her and then suck all the blood in Anuva's body.

The vampire walked quickly, locking Anuva with his body. Ivan stared at his prey eagerly, and he wanted to enjoy every inch of this woman's body.

"Let me go ... I beg of you ...," Anuva said pleadingly.

"What is your name?" asked Ivan with a faint smile. "Anuva," he replied.

Anuva felt something strange about her. Her fear just disappeared. After Ivan exhaled his breath, it remained to Anuva's face.

"I will not hurt you but I will make you feel the pleasure that you have never felt," whispered Ivan.

Anuva's body shook after hearing what Ivan had whispered. Her passion peaked. She wanted more from the man in front of her.

Ivan grinned. He could not help but immediately enjoy every inch of Anuva's body and then suck all his blood without a trace. He opened the door only his people could open and took Anuva elsewhere.

Because he prefers a clean place to enjoy his food, Ivan took Anuva to a small room. Without thinking, he started his game. A game can make Anuva lose his mind and give up all his blood just for Ivan alone.

Sergei sat on the sofa while enjoying a glass of wine in the silence. There was the sound of a woman screaming in pain. He closed his eyes, enjoying the sound of death, which made her feel a different sensation.

Edik stood right next to Sergei, and he accompanied the master, who looked weak because of the poisoned arrows fired by the hunters. He felt guilty for not succeeding in bringing the Varangian humans.

"Is Ivan back?" Sergei asked with his eyes still closed.

 "Yes. Now he is enjoying the lying woman," Edik replied.

"Aren't you hungry, Edik?" Sergei asked again.

Edik did not answer because this was all his fault which was not working correctly, so that the master could not suck the blood of a Varangian human. He's punishing himself by not drinking blood tonight.

"Go. Search for your prey tonight—you don't have to think about me. Because I can still survive," Sergei ordered Edik.

"No, My lord. I'll be here to accompany you." Edik answered and did not want the master to force him.

"I have prepared a human for you. Go! I don't want you to argue with me!" said Sergei in a pressing tone.

Edik could not argue anymore. He nodded and walked away, leaving Sergei with his solitude. However, he didn't want any of that.

As he walked down every hallway of the castle, he heard a death scream which made him so calm. The smell of blood was so strong and made him feel even more thirsty.

Edik walked quickly to a room. In the room, there was already a woman prepared by Sergei. He opened the door to the room, seen a woman who was sitting on the bed. The woman smiled upon seeing Edik's arrival. The woman got up and walked, and she wanted Edik.

"You've been taking so long, don't you want to have fun with me?" asked the woman with a sigh.

Edik was silent, and he saw the woman who was teasing him. However, right now, he didn't want to play games. He grinned, uttering nothing directly attacking the woman.

He sucked the woman's blood quickly so that there was no sound from the woman's voice. Slowly his breath started to weaken and finally disappeared.

Edik threw the woman's body, then wiped the blood that stuck to her lips. After that, he walked out of the room. His thirst was gone. Now what was in his mind was looking for a Varangian woman.

He was running at high speed, his sense of smell getting stronger after sucking the blood of that woman. All of his feelings were getting stronger, making it easier for him to find Varangian humans.

Edik passed through the forest so dark, and he smelled a werewolf. He focused his sense of smell to determine how many werewolves were approaching.

A faint smile emerged from the corners of his lips, and he felt that tonight was going to be a long night. If only the master were here, it would be great.

He continued to run in the middle of the forest, and two werewolves were chasing him from behind. Without fear, he just kept running and looking for a comfortable place to finish them off.

However, one of the werewolves attacked him. Edik stopped his run, and he saw the two werewolves who were glaring at him.

"You are looking to die!" said Edik with a grin.

The two werewolves howled, indicating that they were currently facing a vampire. And also give a signal for the wolf pack to approach.

Without saying much, Edik attacked the werewolf. There was a battle between them, and the two wolves attacked him with fierce claws.

Edik fell when a wolf attacked him from behind. In the wreck, there were two wolves and another wolf hiding and pounding him from behind.

 The wolf howled again, indicating that he was satisfied that he had succeeded in injuring the vampire. The scratch wound on Edik's back was nasty, and it made him weak.

Edik sent a signal with his mind to Ivan. He couldn't hold on anymore because his body was starting to weaken.

"You will die tonight ...," said the wolf who had just turned himself into a human.
