Knight In Dark Armour

Bacca was sitting inclined to his bed, reading a scroll which was recently delivered to him by Assayah. Bacca looked at the scroll and sighed, "Why does it has to happen in my reign only? Xao Chang is going to mock and question my capability if he finds out that I couldn't retrieve the spear from some mortal." A knock on the door disturbed his thoughts and he said in an irritated tone, "Come in. Whoever wants to sprinkle salt on my wounds." Kenchi, along with Kayuba and Nochi who was one of the Monastery's medics, came inside the room and bowed before Bacca. Bacca asked, taking a long yawn, "Why are you disturbing me at such late hour? Don't you see that I need some peaceful sleep for the medicines to work?" Kenchi said sweetly, "My sincere apologies, my lord. But, the graveness of the problem forced us to come to you at such late hour of the night." Bacca sighed, "What happened now, Kenchi?"

Kenchi said with a little hesitation, "To speed up our search, I contacted Gongamtei and asked for his help in return of...the Holy Scroll." Bacca said angrily, "Holy Scroll? Are you mad, Kenchi? You promised that selfish and vile Gongamtei the Holy Scroll in return of the spear. What were you thinking? The Holy Scroll is not something you can give someone as a reward. It is a precious and contains powerful spells and weakness of the Fire Demons. Anyway, is he now standing outside demanding the Holy Scroll?" Kayuba said grimly, "That's the part where the real problem comes in." Bacca asked, "What do you mean?" Kayuba replied grimly, "Gongamtei is missing. He surely created much havoc in the mortal's land, but now he is nowhere to be found. I'm afraid that he too meet the same fate as Abigail." Bacca said angrily, "Don't say it. Don't you fucking dare say it." Kayuba said grimly, "But this is the best assumption we can have for now." Bacca said, "A mortal person killed Abigail, Frostbite and now Gongamtei. Do you know how pissed off Xao Chang will be when he hears this? That years of learning dark arts, possessing demonic strength and other inhumane powers couldn't make us capable enough to kill a fucking mortal who has nothing special about her." Bacca threw the scroll at the floor and took a long breath. Nochi picked up the scoll and said, "I have an assumption, my lord." Bacca said, "Tell it." Nochi said, "We are considering the mortal to be just an ordinary mortal. What if he or she isn't ordinary? I mean to say that possessing something as powerful as the 'Blood Spear' isn't an ordinary thing. The mortal must have something that makes him or her capable enough to both control and defend the spear."

Bacca smiled, "That's why education is important. You solved half the problem already." He looked at Kenchi and Kayuba and said, "You two go with Nochi and meet Assayah. He will then give you the further information about this extraordinary mortal." Kenchi, Kayuba and Nochi bowed and slowly disappeared in red mist. Bacca opened his drawer and took out a porn magazine and sighed, "What is the point of having so much power if you can't fuck a fine lady?"

Assayah smiled, "That's a brilliant idea, Nochi. But, you know what? We know it already. Bacca stays in the Monastery, so he may praise your "new" idea, but for us you are just repeating what we already know." Nochi asked, "Then, why didn't you do anything till now?" Assayah said grimly, "Because there is a thing here in the mortal world, called law. Though we don't follow any law, but we have to stay in its limits. People have become more intelligent and knowledgeable than before and after what Gongamtei did in these few days have created turmoil and have raised many questions regarding our existence. Mr. Walschimdt has warned me already about the Church incident and now I'm hanging on a thin line." Kayuba said grimly, "We have to do something fast. Assayah, do you know who that mortal can be?" Assayah replied, "I'm not sure, but I have some suspicion on a girl named Alice who evidently was present at the Church incident and also she kinda has some sort of unnatural rumors about her."

Kenchi asked, "What kind of unnatural rumors?" Assayah replied, "Not very clear. But, Mr. Watwell said that Alice beat her daughter in the hospital without getting into anyone's eyes and also beat down three men way stronger than her and disappeared miraculously." Kayuba waved his hand and said, "It's plain bullshit. A girl disappearing "miraculously" is clearly an overstatement. Anyone who possesses such power won't publicly put a show of it, again if that person knows that he or she should remain as incognito as possible." Assayah said grimly, "It was just a simple suspicion. I mean why would Mr. Watwell even say such thing which without any solid evidence is utter madness." Kayuba said, "I don't trust a politician's tongue. Truth is scarce in their mouth and they have awesome talent of cooking up stories. I'm sure it is just a random false." Assayah said angrily, "But his daughter was really beaten and she spend time in hospital. I'm just saying why don't we take a survey of that girl?" Kayuba replied angrily, "Because we don't have enough time in our hands to fulfill your desires. Bacca is going to lit our buttocks on fire if we disappoint him any further."

Kenchi said angrily, "Quiet, both of you. Why don't we take the middle way? If, Assayah finds interest in that girl, let him keep an eye on her actions and if he finds something useful then he will inform us, while Kayuba will join his old student in finding the spear." Kayuba asked angrily, "Why only me?" Kenchi said softly, "Because there should be someone who can keep the Monastery in discipline till Bacca recovers properly. Nochi is in the medical team and also he isn't someone who has experience in these physical feats. So, you are the only eligible person who can stay in the mortal world and hurry up the search. Anyway, you spend most of the time in the mortal world only, so you might be more useful than both us." Kenchi shaked hands with Kayuba and soon took Nochi with him to the Monastery.

Assayah laughed, "Kenchi always finds a way to put you in trouble and then slyly slides away." Kayuba said grimly, "His cheap antics doesn't bother me anymore. I'm more concerned about my dear student, Phantom. That guy has tasted one of the most deadliest venom known to any mortal, called love." Assayah gave him a glass of wine and said softly, "You pretend to dislike this feeling but you also know very well that how much important it is to anyone's life. Bacca has fucked more women than his age and yet he asks for complete chastity from us and we follow him blindly. You loved a woman once too, which I have never confessed to anyone, but when you punished Phantom for something which was quite natural, my whole body fumed with anger."

Kayuba smashed the wine glass on the floor and said angrily, "Don't you dare talk about her? You perfectly know what she did when she got to know my real identity. She thrusted a dagger in my heart." Assayah said grimly, "She did her duty as you were doing yours. She had tears in her eyes that day and even killed herself." Kayuba said grimly, "Love is not made for evil beings like us. We only deserve hate and despise for we are made to deliver the same." Assayah said grimly, "Hate is a very peculiar thing, my brother. The more you give it to someone, the more you get it yourself. Learn to embrace these small instants of happiness and your life will be a little less agonizing." Kayuba smiled, "Your philosophical words has always been your forte. No wonder you survived till now without any special powers." Assayah smiled, "Who doesn't have the strength should have the brain." Kayuba said, "Okay. I'm getting late. I will meet you again." He turned into red mist and slowly disappeared. Assayah smiled and then started cleaning the broken glass pieces from the floor.

Alice was sitting quietly on the chair as a letter was slowly fluttering by the wind of the fan. She had tears in her eyes and a slight anger on her face which was clearly making her look quite dangerous. Aliyah looked at her and asked, "Why are you crying?" Alice threw the letter towards Aliyah who picked it up and read it. Aliyah said grimly, "Bunch of mad people. They rusticated you for being in the Church that day and beating Cindy Watwell." Alice said sadly, "And also gave me a negative character certificate, which clearly will not allow me to join any prestigious institution." Aliyah asked, "What about Elena and Trisha?" Alice replied, "They too have got the same punishment." Aliyah asked, "What do you want me to do now?" Alice said, "I'm not worried about getting rusticated as much as I'm worried about my mother. Gongamtei is gone, but we don't know where is my mother yet? I can't even imagine the tension and trauma that the monster has gave her in these three days." Aliyah said grimly, "I'm a ghost and I can freely move here and there, listen to people's talks and possess bodies, but I cannot locate someone whose whereabouts are unknown." Alice asked, "Why don't you ask Elgin? He might know some spell which can locate my mother." Aliyah said grimly, "I don't think there is any such spell which can show your mother's location."

Alice asked, "Why don't you let Elgin answer that question?" Aliyah sighed, "He returned to the forest to find some special herbs which he wants to use to make a special concoction which according to him will be the best remedy for making your body stronger." Alice asked irritated, "Don't you know anything about these magic and spells? Haven't you read anything about it? You're pretty useless." Aliyah said annoyed, "I'm telling you lady. There is no spell which can show us you mother's location. Unless.." Alice asked, "Unless what?" Aliyah said grimly, "Unless we use the dark magic." Alice asked puzzled, "You mean black magic?" Aliyah said annoyed, "No, you fool. Dark magic. It is something a bunch of curious and stupid wizards of our clan once tried. They succeeded at a large scale, but the final spell turned out to be way more chaotic than expected. Many people were injured and lots of property got damaged and our clan leader put a halt on the experiment and sentenced the accused wizards lifetime ban from using magic of any kind."

Alice asked, "What happened next?" Aliyah said grimly, "The tales of that incident spread like wildfire and lots of neighbouring wizards came to our clan in search of the spell, but no wizard sold his spell and for many years, our clan remained the sole master of the dark spells. But, many years later a calamity forced us to beg for grain and water from the neighbouring clan and they demanded the spell in return of their help. We were forced to give them the spell but they couldn't use it as they couldn't read the spells and all the wizards were either dead or too old to remember much of the spells. The neighbouring clan leader was a man of words and he gave us the grain and water as promised, but underneath they kidnapped many girls and cattle from our clan as a revenge for deceiving them. Their spell were easily defeated by our spells and then we mixed them and created a very strong spell which became our clan's specialty. That's where we got the spell which can tell us the location of our target."

Alice asked, "What is that spell?" Aliyah replied, "The Blood Tracer. We will need your mother's blood and we can locate her then." Alice said, "I don't have her blood. Why would even I have it?" Aliyah said, "That's why I said that there is no spell which can help us right now." Alice sighed, "Okay. Now go away and leave me to lament on my sorrows." Aliyah created purple smoke around her and disappeared.

Rachel opened her eyes and saw that there was an old Chinese man looking at her with a little anger and was smoking his pipe frequently. He asked, "You weren't on the list. Where did you come from?" Rachel said, "Someone kidnapped me and made me unconscious and then hid me in the container. I don't know who that man was." The Chinese man walked near her and said, "Only a fool will believe your story, woman. Are you a spy or someone from rival gang?" Rachel replied, "No, sir. I don't even know you." The Chinese man said, "Whatever. Since you have came here anyway, you will treated the same way the other girls are treated." Rachel asked, "What do you mean?" The Chinese man smiled, "Take her and give her a bath. I want to see how much fresh she is." A woman dragged her into a chamber and tore her clothes and poured ice cold water on her. After scrubbing her, she threw a pair of clothes to her. She said, "Wear these."

Rachel silently wore the clothes and she was taken to a room, where Mr. Lloyd was sitting. Mr. Lloyd said in a half drunk voice, "You seem quite old. What's your name, sweetheart?" Rachel replied, "Rachel." Mr. Lloyd said angrily, "Tell it loud, bitch." Rachel said in a louder voice, "Rachel." Mr. Lloyd smiled, "American. I love American pussy. My wife had American pussy too." He walked towards her and kissed her lips and said, "I like the taste." He pushed her on the bed and slowly inserted his dick in her ass and started fucking her violently. After fucking her, he collapsed to the ground and said, "I will buy you." He slowly smiled and fell asleep. Rachel looked at him and a tear fell from her eye. She slowly wore her clothes and walked outside the room. She was so absent minded that she crashed with a muscular guy. He looked at her and asked, "Who are you?" Rachel said in a dead tone, "A prostitute." The guy smiled, "Come with me." He took her on his shoulders and went towards his jeep and speeded away. As they exited the compound, a huge blast occurred in the building and the whole place was filled with dense smoke and screams of people. Rachel looked at him and asked, "Who are you?" The guy said, "My name is Robert Fletcher." He speeded towards the road as the moon slowly started hiding behind the clouds...
