Damsel Of Justice

The caravan stopped near the back gate of the huge castle which was very much the opposite of the front side of the castle. Dreaded, silent and muddy, the whole place was filled with old and smelly cells where the most dangerous and notorious criminals of the kingdom are kept before appearing them before Tammy for the final verdict. Though the place was scarier earlier too, but the place became more dreaded after Tammy and Jammy started arresting and executing people who they considered either too much of a liability or a threat to their despotic reign. Jammy got down from his horse and walked towards Elgin's cart and said, "For the next seven days, you will spend your days in the cell, waiting for the day to get hanged before the thousands of elves. But don't worry, you won't be alone. I have arranged some special arrangements for you in the cell."

He smiled and came near Trisha and Elena and said, "You are lucky that we elves don't believe in hanging women. You two will spend your rest of the lives in the brothels and if lucky I will take one of you as my concubine." He looked at Alice and said, "Krymon will decide your fate. He will be arriving by tomorrow." He slowly walked away and the guards pushed Elgin's cart inside the castle and closed the door. They took Elena and Trisha towards the City Hall and handcuffed Alice and took her inside the castle and locked her in one of the royal rooms. Maester Cornwall looked at her and smiled, "You might be both the most luckiest and unluckiest mortal ever born. Anyway, I hope Mother Manaca gives you strength to endure Krymon's torture." He closed the door and slowly walked away, silently descending the high stairs.

As soon as Maester Cornwall went downstairs, Verona stealthily entered the room and opened Alice's handcuffs. Alice looked at her and said, "Your silence has worsened the situation more. When Jammy raped and impregnated you, you could have easily called him before the Council and tell everyone about the hideous act he had done with you." Verona said slowly, "It is not that easy to blame someone, especially the brother of the King. I don't want to say it that way, but I'm a widow, Alice. I tried to keep my wishes and desires concealed for many years, but after my daughter Sophia got married and I became a royal person and member of the Royal Court; my life changed quite quickly and I have to admit that I kind of went away with the ephemeral joys and going to lavish parties became a part of my daily routine. When Sophia announced her pregnancy, Tammy organised a huge party and many ladies of the court forced me to drink too much and the next day, I was lying naked in Jammy's room and his semen flowing out of my vagina. I didn't agree to this proposition and said that I will not take his name but will keep the baby. Jammy said that the baby coming to the world will make things hard for the kingdom and that I'm an important person of the Court and especially the mother of the Queen and roaming around with a baby bump will certainly raise many questions and this will bring much shame to Tammy. I didn't agree with him and then he beated me mercilessly and said that if I give birth to this baby, he will offer it to Krymon who is very fond of eating babies. I was about to commit suicide when you people came and when I saw justice and peace in your eyes, I immediately decided to take down both the brothers and end their tyranny for good."

"A very wonderful idea you have constructed, Verona. But, did you even cared about the consequences once?" Aliyah appeared and said in an angry tone. Verona looked at Aliyah and said, "We elves have faced much more dire consequences than this earlier. If we hadn't accepted defeat then, why should I accept defeat now?" Aliyah said, "I'm not telling you to accept defeat. I'm just concerned about the future you will give your daughter and grandchildren if you kill their father and declared him a traitor and despot. Tammy is the king and if you wage a war against him, then you definitely have to sacrifice all your privileges and become an enemy to the Crown. You are not any victim, but just a stupid aging woman who has done terrible mistakes in the past." Alice said grimly, "Yes, but her terrible mistakes are now a baby inside her and also we cannot ignore the crimes that Tammy and Jammy committed in the shadow of the Crown."

Aliyah said grimly, "You know what, you are right for the first time in your life. But, do you know how much less time we have in our hands. Xao Chang spent so many years in mediation to acquire unimaginable power and we still even don't have an army to fight against him and now we are dragged into a civil war. War has always been disastrous even if you win by a large margin. Tammy has the full military on his fingertips and Jammy is the general of the military. Krymon is coming tomorrow and we will be hanged by the end of the week. Elena and Trisha might have been severely raped by bunch of old and lusty noblemen by now. Or even if not, by tonight they will be sold in some shady auction. We cannot wage a war overnight unless.." Verona asked, "Unless what?" Aliyah looked at her and said, "Unless, something disastrous happens. Like someone jumping out of the window and leaving a note that the King's brother has raped her and impregnated her." Verona looked at Aliyah with fear and Aliyah said, "You wanted to make the sacrifice, here is the sacrifice."

Aliyah pushed Verona out of the window and Verona screamed as she fell hundreds of feet down. Alice looked at Verona's dead body which was lying on the floor of the compound, blood coming out of her head. Alice said grimly, "You are an evil person, Aliyah." Aliyah said, "All heroes are evil before the victory." She disappeared in thin air and put a letter near Verona and went away.

Everyone gathered around Verona's dead body and one of the guards ran towards Tammy and Sophia to inform them of the sad news. Maester Taylor was nearby and came there hearing the commotion. He pushed his way through the crowd and saw that a letter was falling near Verona's feet. He picked it up and read it. He was clearly shocked but kept a straight face and slowly walked towards his chamber. Alice was looking at them from the window and sighed. She slowly peeped through the peephole and then slowly walked downstairs the stairs and merged with the roaming crowd. Since, Jammy didn't disclose their betrayal yet to Tammy or before the Royal Council, she was still a guest and not someone dangerous in the eyes of the guards.

One of the guards kindly told them to gather in the Royal Hall and not to become obstruction in the way of the guards. Alice cleverly mixed with guards and soon went outside the door and ran as fast as she could towards the City Hall and entered a tavern. The people there didn't recognized her and considered her just another customer and ignored her. Aliyah appeared and whispered in her ear, "I have located the place where Elena and Trisha are currently locked in. But, I have to warn you that they don't greet new people very nicely." Alice ordered a vodka and emptied all in one go. She walked towards the location and stopped before an old brothel filled with women half naked trying to seduce people with their flamboyant makeup and hand signs. She looked at Aliyah and said, "I don't see any danger here."

Aliyah said grimly, "Don't be so sexist, Alice. These ladies are ex convicts who were punished by the Royal Council. Most of them were professional killers, dacoits and thieves earlier." Alice asked, "The Royal Council makes such dangerous women prostitutes but don't kill them. And you are calling me a sexist."

Aliyah looked at Alice and said, "You know what, if you spare all your witty remarks behind. We can go more easily on this path." Alice showed her the tongue and went towards the brothel and said, "I'm here to save my friends from a lifelong prostitution life and I have information that you have captured two young ladies of our palace when they accidentally got into some trouble they weren't meant to be in." The guard said, "We don't steal girls from the palace. The girls that we get are the ones shamed by the society and forced to spend their entire lives as a cum dumpster for old and dirty bastards."

Alice said grimly, "I don't know what goes around here, but forcing someone into prostitution is not a noble act." "It is a noble and most justified way of punishing the women who spend their lives not as a decent woman whose job is to take care of her parents, marry young men and bore capable youth for the future. They are have stepped outside the social circle of rules and regulations and have committed crimes. Elena and Trisha are no different nor is you who plotted against our king." Maester Cornwall came from behind and said, "You thought that I won't keep an eye on you. I also know that Aliyah pushed Verona out of the window." Alice said grimly, "People like you are curse to this world. For people like you, women are afraid to live their life freely and if they happen to become rebel and try to be happy, you people punish them and label them as whores. You exploit them for your own enjoyment and when you get bore of them, you throw them away like garbage. Verona sacrificed herself for one question that will there be any change in the society or will there be someone to punish people like you? Today, your death will mark the beginning of a new revolution."

Maester Cornwall said, "You cannot kill me. I'm the chief maester." Alice smiled, "Yes, I can't. But she can." Maester Cornwall looked behind and saw Aliyah. Aliyah grabbed him by the neck and flew up and then released him. Alice pulled out the spear and put it in vertical to the ground. Maester Cornwall fell on the spear and took his last breath. Alice pulled out the spear and cleaned it with Cornwall's robe and said, "You may not know me or may know me. I'm Alice Cooper. Many of you have accepted me as your protector or your guide to the new age of prosperity and peace. I want to say that I may not be the best now, but one day I will return you all the past days of glory and honor." Elena and Trisha came outside of the brothel and hugged Alice. Alice looked at them and said, "I will always protect you, my girls."

Elena said, "Stop being so dramatic, Alice. The war is not over yet." Trisha said, "When will you become more mature?" They walked away like nothing happened. Alice smiled, "I know, my girls. Your smiles told me everything." Aliyah looked at Alice and said, "Elves have gathered around the palace and are throwing stones at the palace. We have to escape quickly." Alice, Elena and Trisha went on a chariot and ran towards the Shinigano area. Alice asked, "What about Elgin?" Aliyah said, "Believe me, girl. He is more safe there than us running like fugitives."

The chariot stopped near a large banyan tree and they hid behind its large roots and then slowly descended down to a secret gateway to the Shinigano tribe village. Alice said, "I didn't know that Shinigano tribe have two villages." Aliyah said, "They don't. It was my old training camp or what you call it in the mortal world the place where one gets his or her first education. After the First War of the West, Tammy decided to take his capital in the centre of the Kingdom, where most of the land was agricultural and industrial area. Shinigano tribe attacked this old place and captured this place on their name.

I remember, the lengthy and unpleasant debates my father had with the kings of the other regions about this matter and my father finally went on a negotiation and made a pact that the Shinigano can keep the place, but cannot destroy any of the old chambers or prevent the elves from conducting and attending the annual Mother Manaca's spritual journey, which has been conducted in the place from time immemorial. Shinigano people agreed but the Shuken were quite sceptical about the elves and also they didn't like Shinigano people ruling over such a large area, while they were living in a place a little larger than Australia. Orcs came in the scene and slowly the things got much bad than before and soon the First War of the West started and the rest is history."

A voice came from behind, "There's no point singing about past glories when we cannot hold to the glory in the present." Everyone looked behind and saw, a young man standing there with a large army. Aliyah said, "Prince Jamalus. It's quite a pleasure meeting you. You weren't even born when I was lying dead. Actually, your father was only two months then." Prince Jamalus said, "I'm now the King. Jammy ran away from the palace as soon as the news reached Tammy's ears. You should have seen the drama that happened today there. Queen Sophia slapping Tammy and Tammy getting his face painted with horse shit. It's been quite a day. Anyway, I want to tell you that after what happened today, it will be the best for you people to leave the kingdom before the Second War rises." Alice said, "No, I want to stay here and show people that war is not the best option to solve problems. I want to prove to Aliyah that I'm as very much worthy as people think I'm and I will prove to everyone that what a civilized society looks like." Jamalus looked at her and said, "You know that the Orcs won't listen to your words of peace and they are brutally dangerous." Alice said, "I have a plan.".....
