1 PROLOGUE

*In a dark room*

A humanoid figure is lying on what appeared to be a chair connected with large tubes, semi-conscious and groaning.

The man standing beside him looks at him with an amused expression and says " I am baffled by your potential Ronin even after taking all those heavy poisons and drugs how the hell are you still alive".

Ronin wanted to say something but could not move any part of his body, he felt like he was just a soul captured in a body. It has been ten years since his wrong decision got him under this situation, thinking about the past made him regretful and angry.

10 years ago Ronin was the owner of a successful bio-medical company where he and his team researched on different organisms and experimented on them to make new medicines and their biggest achievement war their medicine X-10, then he became friends with a guy named Chen at first it was all good he seemed like a nice guy full of interesting ideas so Ronin gave him a job in his company and this was his life's biggest mistake, he could not see through Chen and was fooled by him as within half a year he got control of 42% company shares and removed Ronin from the CEO's position. When he angrily asked him to explain about it the only reply he got was "security get him out". This was just the start of his problems as soon his mom got kidnapped his sister died in a car accident, and he was then visited by chen. He lashed out on him and as he was about to pounce on him to attack him he felt his consciousness fading away.

From then till today he was kept in a room till now being experimented upon by them after they found out that his body was immune to almost any disease or poisons.

Thinking about it made Ronin extremely regretful of his choice to trust Chen. as he was thinking about the past he heard a voice "Nurse lets try TLX-150 on him" and the nurse replied "but sir-" the voice interrupted her and said "I will take care of everything just do what i said" the nurse replied with pushing an injection filled with a black substance directly in his heart.

The voice again said "now brief me about it if he survives or else throw him away if he dies" and walked out.

Ronin felt the worst pain he felt in his entire life it was not even comparable to what he suffered earlier it was way above it, his heart was beating like it was overloaded and about to burst he felt power in his body and arms again but before he could move he felt blackness all over and fainted.

*After a few hours*

The nurse saw Ronin's body turn black and his heartbeat came to a stop. she dialed a number on the phone and said "Sir subject R died" and "dispose of him" came as a reply.

Ronin felt life came back to his body in what felt like an eternity and when he opened his eyes he found himself in a bag free of the tubes and bindings. He suddenly tried to move his body and to his surprise, it moved like he wanted it to move. He opened the bodybag and saw a guard looking at him horrified GHO- before he could shout in order to silence him Ronin hit him with all his force but as his fist came into contact with his face he felt like it touched cotton and as he opened his eyes he saw a headless body plop down to the floor and an unrecognizable head stuck to ceiling.

"wha-" as he saw the scene in front of him he recognized that the drug did something to his body which made him surpass human strength. As he thought about this a sudden thought of revenge clouded over his mind and in order to enact his revenge he ran towards the office of Chen as he knew the buildings complete details as it was his Underground research facility.

*Inside Chen's office*

"So he finally died huh" said Chen "Yes sir" replied the man "well then what abou-"

*BAM* the wall broke and in came Ronin, Chen and Ralph were flabbergasted by the situation "how-" before Ralph could say anything his head was blown off by a punch from Ronin and as Chen saw it instead of being scared his eyes were shining like he saw a new toy.

Ronin after killing Ralph glanced towards Chen and said "why tell me why did you do this WHY". Chen said in a calm tone "you don't need to know" angered by this Ronin jumped towards him.

Before Ronin could reach him, Chen pressed a button and Ronin felt a shock stun his body and he became paralyzed.He looked up and say Chen still smirking and said "well it came in handy" as he looked towards the remote in his hands.

He then came near Ronin and grabbed his hair and said "now I can use your blood for the new serum to become invincible, thanks old friend thanks, even after I kill you I will remember you as the greatest gift God ever gave me"

Ronin who knew he would die just said "mom plea- please release my mom" Chen looked at him and said "oh! you did not know, yeah I forgot to tell you stupid me I guess, well she's already dead" as Ronin heard it he felt his head go blank, tears came out of his eyes and his eyes were filled with anger.

Amused by his anger Chen said "Just for your information your sister did not die of an accident she was also killed by me" Ronin was trying to move his body as hard as he can just to tear Chen to pieces but could do nothing.

Chen then said "Bye-bye MY friend" and for the last time Ronin felt his conscience fading away and in death, his eyes only showed endless anger and regret.

*Somewhere in the galaxy*

An old man opened his eyes and said "Finally he's dead" and disappeared ...
