8 CHAPTER 7

Ariel and his Grandfather were walking side by side in the garden and both of them were talking about something when suddenly Robin appeared.

Kretos looked at him said "So, how was it" Robin smirked and said "Easy as swatting a fly your majesty", Ariel did not know what they were talking about.

So, he was a bit confused and asked "What happened Grandfather" to this his Grandfather smiled and said, "it's nothing son ".

He then looked towards Robin and said "and by the way from today you are in charge of Ariel's cultivation", Robin nodded and said "Yes your majesty", while both of them were talking Ariel, interrupted "Ummm anyone asking for my opinion on my cultivation", to this both Robin and Kretos replied in unison and said "no".

Kretos then looked towards Ariel and said "Now don't ask questions and go and start training seriously as the Royal fest is coming, there I will introduce you as the crown prince to the public, it will be your first appearance and although you are young, heirs of large clans will challenge you and you'll barely be able to survive their attacks with your puny true-" he then looked at him again and said, "HOW is this possible".

So I was not given a royal wagon for traveling and as for the guards they only went with me sometimes." , when Robin heard this he was angry, killing intent was Bursting out of him which made Ariel shiver, as soon as he noticed it he calmed himself down and then got on his knee and said "Ariel remember this that from now on your uncle will protect you, no one would ever be able to harm you. If you want to, I would go and lay waste of the Kai empire and that doghshit of a father."

Ariel looked at him with a firm gaze and said "No need uncle, I will do it myself, you just help me get stronger", his grandfather laughed and said "Well, that's the spirit. now tell me what happened afterward". Ariel nodded and said "Just as they were going to kill me the old man appeared and killed both of them, he then asked me if I wanted to worship him as my master to which I agreed, then he taught me how to cultivate and after teaching me for 2 and a half years. Kretos nodded after hearing this said "Well I will thank your master personally for taking care of you. If you meet him in the future do invite him to the castle. Robin replied " Yes Your Majesty" and then turned to Ariel and said, " Now, let's go and train ".

*In the training grounds*

Robin has changed his attire from the armor to a scholarly looking white robe, he had a wooden sword in his hands, there was a table between both of them and all kinds of weapons were placed on it be it a sword, a spear, knives, a bow, and other weapons.

Robin turned to Ariel who was standing there and said "from what I have observed, you seem to be proficient in the way of the sword. Am I right" Ariel nodded, he continued " now I'll give you a chance to skip the basic body training, that is, if you can land 1 hit on me I will skip training for you and we'll straightaway jump to sword and cultivation techniques and other advanced stuff? Ariel nodded and picked up the sword and said "I'm going to attack now".

His last attack was also dodged but this time Robin kicked him in the back and Ariel fell onto the ground.

Ariel got up and thought 'DAMMIT, I'm fed up. let me show you my most powerful attack. you won't remain smug after that' he then got up and held his sword with both hands and used the first move of Sword of despair, Robin felt an unusual amount of sword qi gather around Ariel, even he felt a bit excited by it 'i see, a special move. His master must have taught it to him' he yelled: "COME ON SHOW ME WHAT YOU'VE GOT".

Ariel jumped forward with inhuman speed and unleashed the 1st move of Sword of despair, the sword moved towards Robin in neither a slow or fast pace, it felt like it was slow but at the same time fast, nothing could stop it and with a swish, it went towards Robin, in response, Robin threw the wooden sword and pinched towards the incoming sword.

*BOOM* an explosion occurred and Ariel was thrown backward to the ground by the shockwave. The sword he used was obliterated as it could not handle the power of the move, Ariel looked up to where his uncle was expectantly but he was disappointed as he saw him standing there smiling and looking at his thumb.

'Not even a speck on his clothes.' thought Ariel. But suddenly he heard his Uncle calmly say "you passed", he was a bit confused and asked, "but how".

Robin came near him and helped him get up then he showed him thumb and said "Look carefully and be proud, that you've managed to injure a demigod level cultivator" .

If you looked carefully there was a fine cut on his thumb. Although Ariel was disappointed, he was a bit relieved that he would not have to go through training by his uncle, because before coming here he has heard that his uncle trained people in a very brutal and inhuman way many of his students dropped out before completing the training. Ariel was not afraid of hard work he just did not want to waste time in training his boy, he wanted to increase his cultivation as soon as possible as fast as possible.

He asked "So I passed right", Robin said "Yes you did pass, but you still have to go through body training" Ariel objected "But why, I can do the same thing with Qi", Robin retorted "Boy, you don't understand. you see, Cultivation can increase your qi but to use that qi effectively and without any backlash, you need a strong vessel which is your body. now get ready". Ariel looked a bit down but still said "Yes Uncle"

*After 3 weeks*

For the next 3 weeks, in the morning, Ariel Trained trained and trained. His uncle made him run continuously wearing a 1000 kg weight suit without using Qi and then he would make him swing a 500 kg sword and he increased the weight by 100 kg daily. Ariel would throw up most of the times but he never stopped as he felt himself getting stronger and faster even without the use of Qi . After completing his run he would study war tactics and different languages and in the evening before training, he would attend meetings by his grandfather's side.

After that, he would go and fight with 10 knights on the same plane as him. at first, even with all his techniques, he lost badly. but slowly but steadily he started to change the defeats to a win. Although he could have won if he used Sword of despair but his uncle told him not to use any techniques that required Qi.

During these 3 weeks although he did not cultivate much his cultivation still achieved some breakthroughs and he was currently at the 4th layer of star mortal realm.

Ariel was standing opposite to his Uncle. Robin said "Now show me what you've learned. COME"
