1 1 - I Transmigrated But I'm Still Blind

In the middle of a densely packed forest, a young woman was sitting up against a rock, gasping for air as if she had almost drowned. This person is Jun Xilei. Jun Xilei was the most famous assassin and ranked at the top of a ranking board called the Slaughter God Canon. However, one mistake led to a series of events that ended up killing her.

She had placed too much faith in her one and only friend who was also a fellow assassin. She was the 13th ranked assassin and her alias was Yèwăn which means Night. Although she was able to immediately retaliate, she had lost her eyes in the process. She died not long afterwards but why couldn't she catch a break and not be blind when she woke up in this body.

Jun Xilei shakes these thoughts out of her mind. She takes a deep breath. Her situation is still rather dangerous. If she was her old self, even with the unfamiliarity, she wouldn't need to be afraid but with this weak body, she knew that every step she took could dictate whether she lives on or not.

'Although I have no idea as for what direction I would head in, If I wait here too long, who knows what creature I will become a snack to.' With this in mind, she decides to take an hour's rest. Her body and mind were exhausted and wouldn't be able to last unless she could get a moment's reprieve.

After an hour, she gets up and can now fully feel just how weak her flesh really is. Her brows furrowed in frustration as she then began to scan her surroundings and listen for and clear sounds of water but was unable to at the moment.

'In that case...' Jun Xilei stopped in place and then she suddenly pointed to a direction. '... I'll go this way!' Jun Xilei didn't even hesitate before walking in a random direction with her arms held out in front of her. This would be a baffling sight to many if they had seen it. It's like she had come to seek death.

Actually, someone really had seen it.

'This little girl... She's clearly blind but she dares to travel into the inner area of Spirit Forest?' A woman wearing snow white robes with a hat on her head was hiding in the clouds as she observed the young girl stumble her way through a forest full of danger. 'From the way she walks around, the little girl has only recently become blind.' With this thought in her mind she began to stretch out her spiritual sense into her body to see if it was permanent or if it could be fixed.

At the same time, Jun Xilei froze. She felt a very powerful presence looming over her. She looked up and to the shock of the woman in the clouds, she yelled out. "Come out or die!" Her voice sounded childish but the bloodlust in it was not little. She had no idea where her stalker was but she could at least tell that the person was above her. Never would she have ever imagined that the person who was watching her was hiding in the clouds high up in the sky.

The woman in the clouds was stunned. 'The amount of people this girl has killed... it's not little!' She even felt a slight sense of foreboding towards her. But she still quickly recovered. She could easily see that the girl had no cultivation to speak of.

"Are you still not coming out?" Jun Xilei still felt the person's gaze on her. She felt uncomfortable as she was unable to see this person. There was also the fact that the aura of this person felt all encompassing. Like she would be swallowed into a vacuum.

"Hmmph!" The woman snorted and with a simple movement, she was suddenly in front of the little girl.

Jun Xilei suddenly felt the powerful presence in front of her and reacted quickly. She made some distance between her and the person with a well practiced movement.

"Come out and die? What bold words for a little girl with no cultivation!" Jun Xilei was shocked by the voice in her mind. She could tell that the voice didn't go through ears and was confused for a moment.

"Cultivation? What the hell is that?" The girl asked. Now it was the woman's turn to be shocked. As far as she knew, cultivation is known by everyone from every corner of this planet. Meeting this girl who seemingly had no idea what cultivation was... it was baffling to say at least.

Jun Xilei didn't hear an answer for a while and thought the woman left. "Are you still with me?" She asked cautiously. She was not used to her current situation and she now regretted her choice of words. She could use this woman to get out of this place.

"Oi, don't leave yet!" Jun Xilei shouted and began to walk towards the woman who had just come out of her thoughts.

"What's your name, child?" The woman finally spoke after a long time. Jun Xilei stopped in her tracks and sighed in relief.

"Jun Xilei."

"Why are you in this forest? Your family should be worried about you, right?" Jun Xilei didn't know why but when she heard "family" her killing intent went out of control. The woman also felt this change. Jun Xilei's eyes went red from rage and she suddenly spat out words full of hostility and bloodthirst.

"Family? I can only guess that my family is why I am here! I don't know why but I feel the urge to slaughter." The woman gasped.

'Such a family actually exists?' Coming from a normal household, the woman couldn't imagine just how bad the girl's family was.

"You guess?" She then suddenly picked up on the wording

"Yeah... I don't remember... I don't remember anything other than my name." Jun Xilei calmed down towards the end. "Now, I've told you about my situation. Who exactly are you?"

"Me? I am Jiang Wushuang, core disciple of the Heavenly Palace Sect."

"Heavenly Palace? Core Disciple?" Jun Xilei was only getting more confused as she tried to figure out what kind of world she had come to. All she knew was that she was most definitely not on earth.

Seeing the confusion on Jun Xilei's face, Jiang Wushuang was now one hundred percent sure that Jun Xilei had no memories.

"How about this... I will take you back with me and see what your innate talent is. If it is decent, we can let you join the sect. Although... your eyes..." Jiang Wushuang couldn't help but sigh. Even if her talent is heaven defying, her eyes will hold her back.

"Let me go with you! As long as I can go with you, I will be your sla... your servant!" Jun Xilei found it hard to spit out the word, "slave". It is a word that has disgusted her since one of her missions had her annihilate a large slave trade base. What she saw there was nothing short of inhumane. After she annihilated the entirety of this base, she rubbed her skin raw as she took a very long and scalding hot shower.

"...Alright then. If you are unable to become a disciple of our Heavenly Palace, then you will become my servant. If you manage to become one, then I will become your backer. How does that sound?" Jun Xilei's eyes shone brightly.

'Does this count as a pie that fell from the sky?' She recognized a good deal when she saw one. What else could she do except agree.

She nodded and Jiang Wushuang smiled.

"Great. I still need to collect 1 more drop of spirit dew so you have to bear with me for a while. For now... change into these." With a flash, a set of robes appeared in Jiang Wushuang's hand. She threw it  at Jun Xilei.

Jun Xilei stretched her hand out and caught it much to her surprise. "Thanks." Without any shame, Jun Xilei began to strip. As she took her clothes off, she noticed that there wasn't much left of the rags on her body. This would explain why she felt cold on some spots on her body. Jiang Wushuang's face turned red as she never expected the little girl to start taking her clothes off right in front of her.

When Jun Xilei finished putting on her robes, she immediately noticed that they were bigger than she was. Especially around the chest area.

'Damn, I really am just a little girl!' She thought in exasperation.

"Your done?" Jiang Wushuang's voice interrupted her thoughts. She nodded and suddenly felt a force pick her up. Her shock was not little as her mouth was wide open. "Flying?"

"Mhmm. If you join Heavenly Palace, you will eventually become strong enough to learn how to fly." Jiang Wushuang's words flipped her views of common sense upside-down.

"Then... how strong are you?" Jun Xilei asked as she was curious as to what this world had to offer.

"...Before that, I think I should explain the levels of cultivation to you first." Jiang Wushuang then went over the rules of cultivation with her.
