11 Chap. 10 Possessive

( Yoru POV )

It has been a week since the meeting with the whole pack and more members are coming around the house. Unlike the other pack houses that are made mostly for the members to sleep and chill in their rooms, the one that Rain and I live in,along with the Beta and Delta families, is more of a hangout place. There are multiple theater rooms, game rooms, a small gym, and an inside/outside pool area. It is still hard for Rain to get use to all the people coming and going. Luckily though it is mostly the younger kids and teens so they are only around in the afternoons after school.

It was Sunday afternoon when something happened. Since it was almost summer the weather was nice out and so lots of us were outside swimming in the pool. As I was getting something for Rain and I to drink inside I could hear a lot of commotion from outside and a sudden surge of noise came through the pack mind link. Sabastian's voice cut through them all. 'Yoru, you need to get out here now. Rain needs you.' He told me. I left the drinks and ran outside to see what was going on, pack members quickly moving out of my way. When I finally get the center of the group I look on in amusement as Rain has one of the pack members pinned down on the ground, a knee on her chest and Sabastian holding another girl with a bloody nose back.

"What is going on here?" I ask taking note of Rōzu who seemed to be helping Rain by laying on the girl's legs as he turned his head in my direction. "It was these girls that started it Alpha." Sabastian said. "They were trying to antagonize Rain but then Brittney told him that she was your mate not him. She then slapped him so he punched her. Then Hayley tried to hit him back and well..." he explained looking down at Hayley who was pinned down by Rain and Rōzu. I look at Rain's face more closely and see a red handprint were Brittney had slapped him. I move and help Rain up and gently run a hand across his red cheek. He sighs and rests his head on my chest. 'Mine.' He says through the entire pack link, putting a large amount of his alpha power into that one word. Everyone around us bows to him with a resounding "Yes Alpha."

I turn my attention to Sabastian. "Take Brittney and Hayley to the prison until their fate has been decided." I tell him as Hayley is helped up by one of the guards. "Back to your own business." I tell the rest of the pack as I take Rain by the hand and lead him back inside.

( Rain POV )

I huff as Yoru pulled me inside and up to our room on the fifth floor. "Now Rain..." He started to say but I hold up my hand to stop him. "I do not care that she hit me. I care that she decided it was a good idea to try and pick a fight with me by say that she was going to take what is mine." I tell him. I hear him chuckle as he pulls me against his body. "I know she shouldn't be disrespectful to you or that she shouldn't have said what she did but did you need to punch her?" He asked "I know a sluty she-wolf when I smell one." I tell him with a huff. He just sighs. "Still Rain, we can't go around fighting pack members ok?" He says gently, trying to appease my inner wolf. "Fine..." I tell him, making it clear that the conversation was over.

A few hours later we went back outside to the pool to have fun and give me some more interaction time with the pack. I sat by the stairs with my feet in the water, listening as some of the little children splashed and played in the shallows. Over the noise of them playing, I could hear some of the mothers talking close by as to keep the smaller children from straying into the deeper water. I listened to them for a moment but they most just talked about what they would be doing later on during the week.

I was stating to listen to what the teenagers were talking about when I caught a familiar sent getting closer. "Hello Sabastian." I said as I heard him stop next to me. I hear the water splash as he sits down and puts his feet in the water. "So..." He says thoughtfully. "I didn't know you could fight like that." I shrug, "I learned how before I came here." I told him. "Still you should be more careful then that. You can't just go fighting whoever you want around the pack." He said carefully. I stood up with a growl. "I only finished what she started. She laid a hand on me first when she slapped me so I took control of the situation and ended it." I told him before leaving him there and following the sent on Yoru which led away from all the people.

I follow his sent around to the front of the house to where the sent of some strangers met my nose. Not liking the new sents I changed into my wolf and, knowing Rōzu was with me, went straight to where Yoru's sent was strongest and rubbed myself against him. The air became thick with tension. I chuckle through the mate bond as Yoru sighs. "Gentlemen, this is my mate, Buraindo." He says in introduction as he lays a hand on my wolfy head. "And his watch dog Rōzu." He finished. "Nice to meet you Luna Rain. My name is Alpha Jace and this is my mate Luna Crystal." The stranger said in his own introduction. "That's Alpha Buraindo to you." I tell him with a growl. "My apologies." He says to me. I huff as he and Yoru continue to talk.

After another few moments the couple left and Yoru and I went inside. Once in our room we got dressed for bed and I listened as Yoru told me about the couple. I committed here and there until I gave a large yawn and laid on the bed, feeling tired. "Sleep Rain." Yoru said softly as he got onto the bed next to me. I roll over and lay on top of him. "Your such a positive mate my previous Alpha Rain." Was the last thing as I heard as I fell into a deep sleep.
