18 Chapter 18. Karakura town

As the fight against the 5th Espada Nnoitora Gilga finished, Kenpachi told Ichigo to return to the Human World and ordered Orihime to heal him.

But as Orihime was running towards Orihime suddenly an Arrancar appeared using Sonido and 'kidnapped' her in front of Ichigo and Kenpachi.

Ichigo attacked as soon as the Arrancar arrived as well as Kenpachi but the Arrancar was faster than them, easily blinked using Sonido.

On the other hand, Orihime who got kidnapped once again was in front of Aizen and his subordinates.

Aizen after thanking Orihime for her service, made an announcement to all of Hueco Mundo that Orihime was in the 5th tower and he had closed all Garganta that Shinigami used to come to Hueco Mundo as well as he was going to Karakura town.

Ichigo upon hearing this was about to rush away but Kenpachi told him Captain-Commander anticipated this and all the remaining captains are in Karakura town to defend.

Not only they planned to defend Karakura town, they even made a fake Karakura town using Tenkai Kecchu with the help of Urahara Kisuke and Shinigami Research and Development Institute.

After finished his announcement, Aizen entered the Garganta in front of him that led to fake Karakura town accompanied by Gin and Tosen.

As Aizen entered the Human World, he was greeted by Captain-Commander and the remaining captains of Gotei 13.

The Captain-Commander Yamamoto Genryusai remarked that they were able to arrive in time.

Aizen then stated he knows the Karakura town below him is fake and it didn't matter to him as he just needs to destroy the Tenkai Kecchu.

Aizen then summons his top three Espada, who came with their Fraccion as well.

Aizen mused if the real Karakura town was in the Soul Society, if it's he just need to go there and destroy it as well as decimate Gotei 13.

While this was happening, Ichigo was on his way to the 5th tower where Orihime was imprisoned.

But unfortunately for him, his pace was stopped by an Arrancar that has a goat-like bone head, named Rudbornn Chelude as well as Exequias.

Also fortunately for Ichigo Rukia, came to help him.

As Rudbornn attacked Ichigo, Rukia froze his arm and told Ichigo to rush to Orihime and leave it to them.

The battle began with Rukia fighting Rudbornn's subordinates, defeating all of them.

As Rukia told Rudbornn his underlings have all been defeated, Rudbornn released his Zanpakuto, Arbol.

Rudbornn disregarded Rukia's comment, asked her what difference was there if all of his subordinates have fallen, telling Rukia she will soon learn that defeating his underlings will not bring her victory.

Turning her head towards the fifth tower as she heard a loud rumble and blast from the building, Rukia murmured Ichigo's name out of concern for her friend.

As their battle continues, Rukia continued to fight one Calavera after another. Rudbornn, taunted Rukia as she struggled against his numerous Calaveras, told her Arbol's "godlike" ability is to continuously create loyal soldiers without limit.

More Calaveras, created from Rudbornn's Arbol, attack Rukia. Rudbornn lamented at how, despite being given a power like a divine creator from Aizen, he could not make the level of an Espada. He told Rukia they can never match them, as opposing such "greatness" was the pinnacle of foolishness for the "undisciplined dogs" Rukia and her allies are because they were just "'birds against a shield.'"

After fighting more Calaveras, Rudbornn complimented her on still having the will to fight after defeating so many enemies. He noted she has infinite aptitude as a Shinigami, but she was fighting an endless battle, as he can provide an infinite number of combatants for her to fight.

As the Calaveras moved to attack her, Rukia stabbed one of them, but he, fell on top of her, pinned her under him.

As other Calaveras moved to attack while she is trapped, she was saved by the arrival of Yasutora Sado and Renji Abarai, who took the Calaveras out with Hihio Zabimaru.

As Renji and Rukia got into a mild argument, they were interrupted by Rudbornn, who asked the new arrivals if they were Rukia's backup.

He started it does not matter, as their arrival will not change anything because he will simply create more soldiers to deal with their increased numbers.

When Renji asked if Rudbornn could grow a large number of soldiers, similar to a fruit tree, Sado, corrected him, stated fruit trees grow a finite amount of fruit. The two began to argue, and as Rukia listens, she formulated a plan.

The trio, surrounded by Calaveras, were grossly outnumbered. Rukia told Renji and Sado to deal with Rudbornn's subordinates while she deals with the "root" of the problem.

As Renji attacked with his Bankai and Sado used El Directo, Rukia went for Rudbornn. As Rukia and the others noticed the Reiatsu coming from up above them, Rudbornn, turning his head, noted that Ulquiorra has gone through the dome of Las Noches.

Rukia, Sado, and Renji continued their battle against Rudbornn inside Las Noches, with Rudbornn creating more of his Calaveras.

Sado used El Directo against Rudbornn, but Rudbornn used his subordinates to create a shield against the attack, explained his powers have no limit.

Rukia stated she never thought Rudbornn would use his own subordinates as a shield, explained her plan to Sado and Renji: she'll use Hakuren to freeze Rudbornn's warriors, Sado will attack the frozen soldiers, and Renji will finish Rudbornn off with Hihio Zabimaru.

When Renji used his Hikotsu Taiho technique with Hihio Zabimaru against the now-vulnerable Rudbornn, Rudbornn, created more of his soldiers to stop the attack, which caused Renji's Bankai to collapse.

Rudbornn complimented them on their plan being an excellent effort but explained again that, with an infinite number of warriors, no one can reach him.

As Rudbornn was about to finish off the three, he was caught by Rukia's ice, and his body began to freeze from the bottom up.

Rukia revealed the real plan was to keep Rudbornn's attention away from herself. Because Rudbornn's attention was diverted, Rukia, seeing this as an opening, took advantage of it by freezing Rudbornn's "branches."

She told Rudbornn he should not have shown her his power because if his power was to bear soldiers like fruit, it was simply a matter of freezing his "fruit-bearing limbs". After all, frozen limbs bear no fruit.

As Rudbornn cursed her, his body was fully encased in ice.

Rukia approached Rudbornn to finish him off but suddenly Yammy Llargo who was fighting against Uryu appeared and killed Rudbornn during the process.

Yammy was far bigger than his usual form as well as really angry from the tricks Uryu had used to fight against him.
