1 The outcast 1

-There are people in this world who possess incredible powers which defies the limitations of the human body. They are mostly referred to as beasts… The reason for this peculiar name comes from the original superhumans who first appeared around 500 years ago, because they were viewed as dangerous animals. However, despise turned into admiration after a short amount of time, because of the many heroic decisions they made. After a while, mysterious portals started to appear out of nowhere. These portals become an important part of our society, especially when it came to the beasts. The portals which later is referred to as dungeons leads to incredible worlds filled with exotic creatures and resources. Many beasts started to specialize in raiding dungeons for all its treasures and to close them to prevent further damage, which made the beasts even more respected and wealthier. –

-Beasts started to be categorized around 225 years ago when a biologist discovered their different sets of skills. Therefor beasts are ether categorized as magicians, warriors, assassins or shapeshifters. There is also under categories, for example the necromancer. There is also a ranking system where they are ranked after how powerful they are. This goes from E to A plus S which is the highest rank. Todays beasts inherited the powers from the original beasts, those who inherit strong genes is often big influences on the society. Especially the powerful families which all are beasts, they are like a guild, but more aristocratic and they all are related to each other. Dungeons is also categorized after their difficulty; the most dangerous dungeons are the most profitable and this has caused enormous death rates because of their tempting treasures –

It was a normal day when a person who appeared to be a young boy awakened from his slumber. Tired he sat up from the madras while fumbling after a blue pair of school pants which was placed on a cardboard box. The boy suddenly awakened to show a faint smile when he looked at his calendar. "Finally," he whispered with a soft feminine voice. It was his final day of high school; he was 18 years old and couldn't believe he was finally done with what he would consider as hell. He hated being at school because of the other students, they teased him because of his faults. He was small, feminine and weak in every aspect. He was also a failure to his own family… He was intelligent and especially loved biology and that was the only thing he would miss about high school. His faint smile disappeared as soon as he observed his room filled with mold and destroyed furniture. The smell was terrible and made the boy feel dizzy. The small high schooler started to take on the rest of his school uniform and then took a glance of his own image in the small cracked mirror which was placed right over the cardboard box next to the old uncomfortable madras. He had black short wavy hair which leaned to his right side and a small scar appearing slightly under his mouth on the right side. "Be silent…". The boy's eyes started to form tears which made his ocean blue eyes stand out even more. He had a small stature at around 150 centimeters which made his childlike face look normal on him.

A small sigh spread through the run-down room before the eco of steps moved towards the stairs to the left in the room. He opened the beautiful red wooded door which parted him from the rest of the house. The enormous marbled halls on the other side of the door were filled with different kinds of highly valuable pieces of art which he always stood and admired while he walked lightly down the corridors towards the dining hall trying not to become noticed by any of the other residents. It took a while before he stood near the dining hall, but since this property is so large and his corridor being the most deserted in the mansion it wasn't that weird. When the luxurious looking red wooded doors was right in front of him, he could hear laughter on the other side followed by a sudden silence. They had felt his presence while they had happily eaten breakfast and had a light conversation, but now the aura which emitted from the room changed from warm to cold. The boy feared the people located on the other side of the door and understood that his presence wasn't wanted. He turned around to the direction of the main entrance with his stomach empty while his energy drained quickly.

When he was on his way out he got stopped by one of the mansions maids.

"Gabriel, shouldn't you eat breakfast before your graduation? You should have enough energy to celebrate with joy." An old maid with silver-white hair tied up in a bun spoke strictly. "I'm sorry Marie, but I'm not hungry right now." Gabriel said with a guilty voice. "I have taken care of you since the day you were born, so don't lie to me because I won't let it slide young man." She nagged while placing two slices of peanut butter sandwiches. "I know you aren't respected by your family but remember that I will always be here to protect you when you need help." Gabriel looked at Marie's warm smile and heard her kind words. She was the only person in this world who truly meant something to him. "Thanks, Marie. I will go now, cause if not I'm going to be late at the buss.". He laughed lightly.

Gabriel walked out the entrance with a bit weight lifted from his shoulders. The fresh air filled his lungs with oxygen and the water flowed out from the water fountain located in the middle of the front road made from quarts. The fountain had three sculptures which was a lion, a tiger and a cheetah that represented the Warren family. Gabriel ran past them and continued to run for about ten minutes before he had exited the front gates of the garden filled with exotic plants from both dungeons and other countries. He stopped for a second looking back at the white mansion made from stone which was surrounded by long hills and deep forests. It was a beautiful piece of architecture with large pillars decorated with gold and soft corners. Therefore, it was such a pity since it was owned by those people…

An old fashioned and run-down bus turned to the side of the road to pick up a small statured boy. The bus was filled with youthful people enjoying themselves until Gabriel entered the bus. The people started throwing things at him while using dreadful language which caused him pain. Suddenly their attention was distracted by two limousines exiting the Warren property, finally he could take a short break from their bullying.

"Wow, that's two new xxx limousines which costs 1 million gold coins!" One of them shouted whilst the others had their eyes locked at the limousines leaving in the opposite direction. "Those must be the loser's older siblings, I heard they went to the Academy for talented beasts located near the palace of Rik. They're so unlucky to have a younger brother which is a total waste of resources" A girl with flowing black hair said while her friends agreed with her insight. Gabriel sat quietly listening to them harassing him while praising his siblings. -Please, let this day end quickly…".

Gabriel ran past the nearly destroyed school gate one his way to the classroom where his class was going to gather before the graduation ceremony. Luckily for him he didn't meet any complications. He silently entered the classroom where he sat down at the last row where he thought he wouldn't get noticed, but he was wrong…

"Hi trash! I'm going to enjoy being done with school since then I don't need to look at your ugly little face anymore." A muscular guy said with a sharp tone, making his friends turning towards the desk in the back. This made Gabriel shrink and he felt their judging gazes which were filled with disrespect.

-Please, let this day end soon…-

The confrontation which could have turned out worse got interrupted by their homeroom teacher turning up to prepare them for the ceremony. Gabriel knew the teacher didn't care about Gabriel's wellbeing since most of the teachers despised him because of his flaws just as anybody else.

-It's hopeless, why can't they just leave me alone…-.

When they had prepared them self to receive their diploma Gabriel got pushed to the ground which caused two painful and bloody soars on his knees. He gathered all his courage to turn his head to see the perpetrator, and to his surprise it was the class president which almost always acted nice and considerate.

"Finally the day has arrived where I don't need to pretend to be nice…" He smiled.
