17 Red eyed Oogle

Gabriel could clearly see the creature's appearance, however, that wasn't what caught his attention at the moment. Did he just growl? He understood that this wasn't the time for discussing what had just happened, because he needed to survive.

The mud had almost completely fallen off the stalker. Its red eyes displayed fear, while its brown skin was imprinted with goose bumps. Gabriel was a bit shocked by its dislocated jaw which was bent uncomfortably in a spiral. Had it been hurt in a natural distribute between the creatures of the portal, or was it like that to begin with? He didn't know.

-Its get killed or kill… I should take this opportunity to murder it. –

Gabriel just realized how stupid it was of him to enter the dungeon without a weapon. What was he thinking? Right, he didn't think at all. The creature's snake like body crawled closer, it had understood that its prey didn't possess any harmful abilities at the moment. It wasn't difficult to understand that its desperation had been caused by the lack of food. Its body showcased its thick ribcage and wrinkly folds.

He didn't turn his back and sprint; it would only stimulate the creature's next movement. Instead, he stood still and tried to think of a resolution. Despite Gabriel's effort it was to late. The rigged jaw surrounded his ankle, trying separate it from the leg. The pain wasn't near those headaches he had received for the past few days, but it still hurt. Gabriel clenched his fists and hit the funny looking animal. However, it didn't help much.

-I can't die here, I want to live. I WANT TO LIVE!-

All the bones in his body snapped and dislocated themselves into a feline structure. Rigged black fur reflected white shining stripes, making its frame look more threatening. Sharp teeth got displayed as they sank into the neck of the weird looking creature. Blood spilt out like a fountain; the feline's face hissed at its freshly killed prey.

The tigers large frame blends in with the dark landscape, it was thirsty… for blood. The rage soon calmed down and Gabriel understood what had happened. He had shapeshifted for the first time. He looked at his large paws, lifting them lightly up tripping like an excited kitten. A scary looking smile got displayed on the tiger's face. Gabriel's eyes soon shifted to the fallen beast which he had clenched between his fangs.

-Damn, its impressive. I'm who I meant to be, maybe not? I don't care. I'm to happy to be discussing anything ridiculous today.-

[Alarm]

The 'player' has leveled up from level 4  level 6 by killing a 'Red eyed Oogle'.

[Alarm]

The player has received 4 stat points for killing a creature near his current level.

[Alarm]

The 'player' has absorbed a sufficient amount of blood from the 'Red eyed Oogle'. Does the 'player' want to absorb the life energy residing in the blood?

Gabriel glared at the blue column. He was happy that he leveled up further and for receiving more stat points. However, he still hadn't gotten any abilities which needed life energy to function. He accepted the transfusion. The rattling of swords could be heard from a distance, even thought it would be difficult for other low rankers to sense individuals at such a distance. The mud land showcased each corner and reflected faint lights from the sky above.

Gabriel managed to transform back, and surprisingly his clothes were still functioning as they did before. He took the most fundamental parts from the red eyed oogle's corpse, storing it in a bag he had brought along. His eyes gleamed. This is a huge step towards success for Gabriel. Now it's time to hunt more. A creepy smile formed as if he had realized something big and wicked. That's when some figurines came into view.
