The World of Swords part 1

The year was 2022 and for the first time in history humanity made the world's first full dive virtual environment, Aincrad. The floating castle, the first ever VRMMO Sword art online, would take place in. It was the most anticipated game of the year. It was on nearly everyone's mind, for gamer's dreaming about SAO was like breathing they couldn't go the day without doing so, and this was especially true for one person. A girl sitting in a dark room only lit by the cracks in the curtains and a dimly lit computer monitor.

A girl could be seen sitting there obviously anxious as today was November sixth, the day Sword art online was set to release. She was obviously a very small person no more than five feet in height, she had long pitch black hair that reached down a little bit below her waist, she had a pair of eyes to match the darkness of her hair, and skin so pale it looked as though she'd been sick, her chest was as flat as an ironing board and her waist was equally unimpressive, she had a small round cute face that look no more innocent than a child's. She was reading a book of fair width whilst listening to something on the computer, she was listening to the latest news on SAO the stores just opened up and all 10000 copies of the game were sold out mere minutes after word. As she flipped to another page in her book she flinched and looked at her thumb which started to slowly bleed out a stream of crimson from a paper cut, whilst she was looking at it a voice called out to her from outside the secluded room " Big sis! I'm off to practice now, see ya later okay?" The girl could tell her little sister was waiting for a response due to her not hearing any footsteps, just as the dark haired girl was about to reply with a goodbye her sister gave up and started to walk away. With that She decided she would apologize later after her younger sibling got back from kendo practice, after getting up and sucking her thumb to stop the bleeding she glanced at the clock and realized... that sword art online had been officially released. She quickly grabbed the NerveGear the head mounted console used to play fulldive games popped in the game cartridge laid down on her bed with a face filled with joy and anticipation as she said the words " Link Start!!!"

As the nerve gear was doing its checks and booting up the girl couldn't wait to be back in Aincrad, during the beta test it had been something akin to a home away from home. She was then given the option of using her beta test data, her avatar Kirito looked nothing like her starting with the fact that her avatar was male. She was an experience gamer and knew from experience that the gaming population was about ninety percent male and that gamer's were very.... Perverted at times. So in every game she played she would always use a male avatar, would play solo as to not have to talk to anyone and only talked when spoken to, and even when she spoke she used a deep masculine voice she had perfected over the years. The Kirito avatar very similar to her had deep black hair and eyes however he was 3 inches taller than her real world body which caused movement to be a difficult thing to master but due to past experiences she had a problem with her height and decided to deal with the virtual body she had created. The Kirito avatar also had no facial features in common with her, whilst her face was soft, round, and painfully adorable Kirito's was sleek, angular, and handsome in order to help the girl truly escape from her reality. One thing did sadden her however, none of the items or exp Kirito gained transferred over to the official release. Though this made sense to the girl seeing as how she could probably take the first floor boss on by herself with the weapons and skills Kirito possesed. After selecting to use her old Avatar Kirito opened " his " eyes and in a masculine voice supplied by the game system " he "said " Hello Aincrad my old friend..... It's good to be back".
