4 Mana Archive...
After an hour, Daichi and Kyoko found themselves walking the road leading to the Fujimi Highschool. Their hands intertwined, this attracted more than a few gazes towards the odd couple but neither of them cared. Jealous gazes were directed towards Kyoko, but that only made her smug on the inside.
Their date was coming to end as Kyoko had her school, but Kyoko simply didn't want to leave. That is why she asked Daichi if would accompany her to the school. Daichi immediately understood the woman's feelings, so he decided to walk along with her as it would allow them to spend more time together.
Daichi decided to leave the bike in the nearby parking lot, he could always get that later. A lot of students saw the two of them as they started to gossip. Kyoko wasn't worried about them as Daichi was no longer a student in this school, so the management couldn't punish her for having a relationship with a much younger man.
"So, did you enjoy our little date?" Daichi questioned all of a sudden as they neared the school.
"I did have a lot of fun, Daichi-kun, but I don't think it is enough… Can we meet in the evening?" Kyoko requested in a hopeful tone. All of a sudden she remembered that he was already going to miss his college for the date. "I mean if you are free… I don't want to force you or anything" Kyoko hurriedly added as she didn't want to come off as someone unreasonable.
Daichi started to chuckle after hearing her words. "How about I pick you up for dinner at my home?" Daichi offered and for a moment, Kyoko shuddered in fear.
"Is your mom going to be there?" Kyoko asked in a slightly worried tone.
"What does my mom have to do with dinner?" Daichi questioned curiously.
"Um… she really scares me" Kyoko said in a meek tone and a look of realization finally dawned on Daichi's face. His mom was kind of hostile and scary…
"No, only Roberta is going to be there! You know Roberta, right? My maid?" Daichi questioned and Kyoko nodded her head. Kyoko had only seen the woman a couple of times but she still knew who Roberta was, so she nodded her head.
"So, it is decided then. I will pick you up after school ends… I will be nearby, so you only need to give me a call" Daichi said and Kyoko eagerly nodded her head.
'I am going to get boned!! I simply can't stop myself from getting excited!!' Kyoko exclaimed internally. All of a sudden both Daichi and Kyoko froze as they felt a massive pulse originating from inside them. For a moment, both Daichi and Kyoko felt like their bodies were going to explode. Daichi quickly got over the feeling and he grabbed Kyoko to stop her from falling.
"The hell was that?" Daichi whispered in a confused tone.

"...What the fuck?" Daichi questioned in a bewildered tone as a game-like screen appeared in front of his eyes.
"Daichi-kun, what is happening? What is this?" Kyoko said while waving her hand in front of her. Unfortunately, Daichi was busy with his own screen.

Due to his mom, Daichi trained physically since he was adopted, but he didn't train like his mom who trained like a beast. So, Daichi could understand that his stats were pretty good if the stats in the bracket represented the stats for normal humans.
'Looks like mom was right… something related to Mana did happen' Daichi wondered. 'But why the fuck do I have question marks beside my Race?' Daichi questioned frantically. He was also shocked by his title. 'Heartthrob of Onee-sans? The fuck??' Daichi cursed. 'Please tell me that titles come with perks or it would be pretty useless' Daichi concluded.
'Once again, the hell do I have question marks in my titles??' Daichi hysterically questioned himself. 'At least I have a lot of Magic compared to anyone normal' Daichi contemplated and he was also satisfied with his Stamina. Daichi gave himself a mental pat. 'Those late night workout sessions with my mom and Roberta definitely helped' Daichi concluded.
"Help!"
Daichi was finally brought out of his musings when a girl screamed loudly. Daichi immediately looked around his surroundings and found several men and women acting oddly. A woman finally grabbed a hold of the girl who had screamed previously.
"Watch out!!" Daichi screamed subconsciously but it was already too late… the woman bit the girl's neck and tore off a large chunk of her girl's neck. Soon the others also grabbed the girl and started to eat her.
"Oh my God!! What is happening???!!" Kyoko screamed from beside Daichi. Even Daichi was horrified by the scene in front of him, so he quickly pulled Kyoko into his arms to comfort her.
Daichi looked around and noticed that this was happening everywhere around them. People eating other people was a common sight… everywhere Daichi looked found the same scene. He knew that he needed to take cover but they didn't have anything around them. The school was the nearest building. That was the best bet, and Daichi was pretty familiar with the school.
He quickly picked up Kyoko in his arms like a bride and started to run towards the school. Daichi wasn't stupid, he knew that the school would be probably crawling with these… monsters, but he didn't have any other options. Staying out in the open was very risky… as they could easily get surrounded by those things.
"T-this m-must be a dream Daichi-kun, please tell me that we are dreaming!" Kyoko demanded in a desperate tone… Daichi couldn't answer the woman as he was busy dodging those monsters. Kyoko understood that it was futile and tears started to roll down her eyes.
Daichi finally entered the school and found the gatekeeper who had apparently turned into one of those monsters was lurking just beside the gate. Seeing no other options, Daichi kicked the man with all the power he could muster right now.
The man turned monster simply dropped to the ground but he could still move. Daichi quickly moved forward and slammed his foot on the monster's head. A loud crack was heard and a white orb from the monster flew into Daichi. A notification also appeared in front of Daichi's vision.

Daichi didn't have the time to see the notification as he quickly made his way towards the sports room on the ground floor. He didn't dare to enter the building as he expected the building to be crawling with those creatures. He finally arrived outside the sports room and placed Kyoko on the ground.
Kyoko was fractionally muttering to herself, but could anyone blame her?? People were eating people, wherever you look people were dying. Daichi remembered the window which couldn't be locked from the inside… he yanked open the window and sighed in relief that the window wasn't fixed. He picked up Kyoko and tossed the woman inside the room.
He also climbed through the window and closed it to stop any of those creatures from entering the room. Just like Daichi had thought, the room was completely empty as the room was locked, but you could easily open it from the inside as the door had a Knob Lock.

'The fuck?!! Why the hell do you even give me a Skill if I can't use it??' Daichi raged inside his mind as he dismissed the notifications.
Daichi finally looked at Kyoko, the woman huddled in a corner as she was shaking frantically. Daichi kneeled in front of the woman and he placed his hands beside the woman's head. "Kyoko… listen to me. You need to get a hold of yourself!" Daichi said as the woman finally gained some focus in her eyes and she immediately threw herself into Daichi's arms. She started to sob and Daichi started to rub her back to calm her down.
After a few minutes of sobbing Kyoko finally gathered her bearings and wiped away her tears. "Is this really happening, Daichi-kun?" The woman asked in a desperate tone and Daichi could only smile apologetically.
"Yes… it is also hard for me but I want to survive. You also want to survive, right?" Daichi questioned softly as he caressed the woman's cheek. Kyoko immediately nodded her head.
"Good girl… open your Status Window" Daichi said and Kyoko nodded her head.
"Status Window" Kyoko said with some hesitation and all of a sudden a Status Window appeared in front of Daichi's eyes. He was taken aback as this was Kyoko's Status Window, but why could he see it??

"Did you want to show me your Status Window?" Daichi asked and Kyoko nodded her head.
"Yes…" Kyoko said and Daichi nodded his head in understanding. He compared Kyoko's status with his own and found her stats lacking… kind of understandable.
'Status Window' unlike Kyoko, Daichi called out for his Status Window inside his mind and he didn't want Kyoko to see his Status Window. Just like he expected, his Status Window appeared in front of his eyes, overlapping Kyoko's Status Window.
It was pretty clear that Kyoko couldn't see his Status Window or she would have made a comment. 'Status Window' once again he called out and this time he wanted Kyoko to see his Status Window. The reaction was pretty instantaneous.
"Wow! You are way stronger than me, Daichi-kun" Kyoko said in an excited tone, but moments later, her gaze lowered. "I am simply a burden to you" Kyoko muttered in a saddened tone.

Daichi placed his hand under Kyoko's chin and lifted her face, making her look straight into his eyes. "You aren't a burden, Kyoko. As long as you are willing to become strong, you won't be a burden" Daichi said in a firm tone. Kyoko Hayashi could only nod her head.
Daichi removed his hand from Kyoko's check and he stood up. He knew that Kyoko could see his Titles and his Race, he trusted the woman but he knew that the woman would have questions, so he decided to get them out of his way.
"Kyoko, you could see my Title, didn't you?" Daichi questioned and Kyoko started to snicker.
"Heartthrob of Onee-sans? A fitting title for you I suppose" Kyoko said with a teasing smile on her face. Daichi suspected that the woman couldn't see the question marks or she simply ignored them, but for now, he was happy that he was able to get Kyoko's mind off the shit going on the outside.
Daichi mentally clicked on his only visible title. He wanted to see if he got any perks from the titles or not…

'The fuck??!!' Daichi was left completely speechless after he read the perks of his Title. He obviously dismissed the Window with a bewildered look on his face. He took a deep breath and decided to work with what he had. Daichi also noticed the Skill Points in his status but decided to use it when necessary.
Daichi pulled out his phone as he wanted to check on his mom and Roberta, but found that there was no cellular network. Daichi cursed inside his mind and took a deep breath. Both his mom and Roberta were strong, so he could only trust them now. Daichi knew that they couldn't stay here as they didn't have any water or food in here.
"Daichi-kun, what are we going to do?" Kyoko asked in a worried tone.
"We can't stay here… we don't have any water or food. With everything happening out there, I am damn sure that this isn't some type of isolated event. It means the whole world is fucked right now… resources like food and water will become extremely scarce" Daichi said and Kyoko paled as she kept hearing Daichi's words.
"I brought us here, so we could get some weapons" Daichi said as he got up and went towards the shelves. He grabbed two baseball bats and made his way back to Kyoko. He handed one to Kyoko while he kept the other for himself.
Kyoko gulped and accepted the weapon. "You have to kill those things to gain power" Daichi said and Kyoko reluctantly nodded her head. "You can open your Status Window even if you call it inside your mind. And if you want to show me your Status Window, then you simply need to open your Status Window while touching me and you must be willing to show it to me" Daichi said and Kyoko nodded her head after a few moments.
After that, Daichi thoroughly looked through the room for anything useful and found a box filled with pain relief spray, antiseptic lotions and another box filled with nutrition bars. Daichi shoved everything into a duffle bag and he also shoved a few towels just in case. He slung the bag over his shoulder and he finally opened the door.
Just like he had thought, the whole corridor was filled with those creatures. Kyoko whimpered but she still held strong. Daichi approached a Zombie… he remembered the notification calling them Normal Zombies. He noticed that the Zombies couldn't see or if they could see, then they couldn't see that far.
'I need to test that' Daichi thought as he smashed the head of the Zombie. It only reacted when Daichi was pretty close.

Kyoko meekly followed Daichi as he smashed another Zombie's head with his bat. Daichi noticed that the Zombies were pretty sluggish. That made it a lot easier to deal with them, but getting surrounded would obviously mean death. Daichi kept bashing the Zombies, and notifications kept popping in front of his eyes. Daichi also discovered that the Zombies were pretty sensitive to noise.

For a moment, Daichi froze in shock, he immediately grabbed Kyoko's hand and rushed back towards the Sports Room. He gently closed the door and locked it from the inside. Kyoko gave him a really worried look.
"What happened?" Kyoko asked in a worried tone.
"I finally reached level 1. I can finally use the Skill I received" Daichi said excitedly. He knew he shouldn't be excited right now, but honestly, he couldn't help it.
"Skill? How did you get a Skill?" Kyoko questioned hurriedly.
"I got it when I killed a Zombie near the gates" Daichi answered and Kyoko's gaze lowered in understanding as she clenched her fists tightly around the bat. While Kyoko was preparing herself to fight, Daichi decided to check out his Skill.
'Skill Page' Daichi called out inside his mind and a Window appeared in front of his eyes…

You can Summon a random Black character as your partner. Your character could heal using your Mana, if injured.
If your character dies then the character could be summoned again but the Mana Cost would increase].
'Why do I feel I am being a Racist??' Daichi questioned dryly but nobody answered him. There weren't a lot of details but Daichi needed to take a chance. Having a good Summon could drastically increase the chances of their survival and there wasn't anything to lose.
Daichi activated the Skill, he just needed to think of activating the Skill and it activated on its own… quite a handy feature. Daichi found himself standing inside a completely white Space… It was a massive room and he couldn't see the end of it. As far as he could see, only a white ceiling and white floor were visible.
Daichi's eyes finally landed on a woman standing a few feet away from him. The woman had thick, curly, and shining black hair, but one side of her hair had white streaks. The woman had long eyelashes and heavily hooded eyes. The woman was dressed in a black gown with a corset… the woman was one of the most beautiful women Daichi had ever seen.
'She isn't black… in fact, her skin tone is white' Daichi thought as his eyes landed on the woman's lips. The woman had applied red lipstick, it made her lips look quite enticing. The woman had a Skull shaped ring on the index finger of her right hand. She was also wearing a bird's skull as her necklace. The woman was intently staring at Daichi.
A Window containing the Woman's details appeared in front of Daichi's eyes. He decided to greet the woman. After all, he had manners and shit!!
