11 Unrevealed Secrets ?

Everybody had a pleasant time talking about different matters during and after lunch. Uncle James left in the afternoon to meet some other friends.

Mrs. Paterson noticed the strange atmosphere earlier in the morning when she entered the study. To satisfy her curiosity, she privately asked her husband while removing her makeup in their bedroom.

" Honey, what did the four of you talk about in the study this morning ? "

He answered while working on his laptop.

" You know darling, this and that ".

He suddenly shut his pc and thought for a while before he asked back.

" Do you think James is still in love with her ? "

She knew something was wrong with James's face as soon as she laid eyes on him earlier in the study. She sighed as she turned to face him.

" They were crazily in love for more than four years. Everyone envied them including me and you. They're probably still as passionately in love as they used to be several years ago. But what's done cannot be undone. When a love story is over, regrets and unrevealed secrets are all that remain."

"Unrevealed secrets?" 

He replied curiously.

" Who said anything about secrets? Your hearing is getting worse as you grow older. Let's sleep I'm exhausted " She said while removing the bed sheets.

" Good night Honey "

 Mr. Paterson whispered as he kissed her forehead.
