You Sure You Want Me To Look?

Another huge splash into the spring. She was quick to hide herself inside the water. Only her head could be seen poking out. She looked around to check whether there was anyone who would've seen her or was alerted by the noise. When she was sure that nobody was conscious and no pair of eyes gazing at her wildly, she finally calmed down. She let out a relieved sigh.

She then glanced around looking for a specific something. But, after a while, her face became ugly.

'Where the f*** is my clothes?!'

She cursed silently as she leaned her forehead at the edge of the spring, hoping that the coldness from the ice could help her calm down. While she mourned at her situation, suddenly, something slipped into her mind. She frowned.

Pieces of memories started to gather. One by one, they came to her, like a motion picture, and soon her memory was restored completely. However, the only thing that she cared about was the last event.

"We're going for Soul Binding Contract."

"Our soul will merge together. I will come into your body and I will stay as half of your soul."

"Don't worry....., just close your eyes. Let go."

"Rest peacefully, My Dear."

Recalling it now, the young girl gritted her teeth. Her blood was boiling and there was fire in her eyes. Her anger was instantly ignited as she tightened her grip.

'Crack!'

Huh?

Her eyes shifted down to her left hand which was gripping the edge of the spring. There was a diagonal splitting mark on the ground beneath her palm. It wasn't too big but it was not small either. She gulped looking at the crack. It wasn't her, was it?

"It's you."

A deep and magnetic voice of a man was heard. It was a bit husky almost like a whisper, though it didn't sound unpleasant at all. In fact, it was kind of sexy and alluring.

But the girl didn't seem to be charmed by that voice, instead, her body jolted in shock. It was so clear like someone was talking right next to her. So, she quickly looked around but unfortunately, she spotted nobody.

"Tsk! You don't need to be that alerted. I assure you there was nobody conscious here," the man spoke up again.

"Okay, this is creepy. Where are y-, wait, who are you?" the young girl asked in a low voice.

"Now, I'm hurt." The man sighed, "We have merged together and I even created such a perfect body for you, My Dear. Yet, you forget about me."

His shitty way of calling her "My Dear" was so familiar that the flame inside her burnt even fiercer and brighter now. She almost went insane! Yes, this man was the little girl, the demon!

"Y-You! Get out! GET OUT NOW!!" She shouted on top of her lungs. She could care less if the people would be awaken. She needed to kill this evil son of b****!

The man laughed. "Nope! Can't do! Uh-uh." If he could be seen right now, he was probably shaking his head in a playful manner. His lips lifted into a teasing smile. "We've sealed the contract. If our soul disintegrated now, we'll both be dead."

The young girl gritted her teeth. "You've killed me before. Why not do it again now?"

Before she finished her sentence, a light flickered in her eyes. She realized something. 'Ho-ho-ho! I see!' Her pinkish lips somehow became reddish in color as if the light had been frightened away by her evil smile and refused to highlight her any further. The aura around the young girl became cold and dark in a split second. Her eyes shone brilliantly sharpening her sly expression.

"You're afraid of dying now." She nodded her head understandingly. "I see." A dark mist flowed out from her body and motioned to her front.

"What are you doing?" The man asked suspiciously while he tried to retract the dark mist in reflex. He was considered the same soul as her now, however, she was the dominant part. So, he couldn't possibly control the dark mist. It continued to flow out of her body.

It slowly condensed into a black sword and flew towards the young girl's chest!

"S-Stop!"

The black sword continued to move, inching closer to her chest. The young girl smiled beautifully. She even opened her arms to welcome the sword. She appeared to be delightful as if she was going to receive heaven's blessing.

"Li Fei, Stop!!"

A second before the sword's tip penetrated her heart, Li Fei's sapphire eyes suddenly turned bloody red. Her body backed down and splashed back into the water. The black sword missed her and instead plunged into the water as well. It returned to its original black mist form.

"What are you doing, you stupid human??" The man's voice sounded very irritated.

When the young girl's, who we knew now as Li Fei, eyes turned bloody red, that was the demon forcing himself on the dominant soul and took control of the body. However, the both of them had to pay the price for that. It dealt quite a heavy damage to their soul. Li Fei's face became extremely pale from the spasm of pain gnawing all over her body. It was like being cut into a thousand pieces. Her limbs grew weak to the point that she could not manage to even move a finger. Her body sank to the bottom of the spring. Her eyes had returned back to sapphire.

"Oi, get up!" The man gritted his teeth. He felt it too, the pain. But that was not important! It would not be funny if they died because of drowning.

"Woman! You need to control the dark mist at least. It could lift us out."

Li Fei frowned. Without this annoying demon's remarks, she had already been trying to move her body since they plunged into the water. But it was to no avail, nothing happened!

"Woman!" The demon yelled again. He was getting impatient. He didn't want to die!

"Stop screaming in my head! I'm trying! Whose fault is this anyway?!" Li Fei was extremely livid at this stupid demon. She was just joking. Why the hell did he forcefully flush her out? She wasn't going to let the sword pierced her, okay? She was just mad and wanted a little revenge, so she tried to scare him a little bit.

"Your fault!" he exclaimed. His voice sounded accusing and pissed off.

"Say that one mo-" Ugh...

Before she managed to argue back, she could feel her chest tightening. They were out of breath!

"Do something, you stupid human!" He was hysterical. If he could, he would smack her ass to Mars.

"Switch!"

Only one sentence and she had shoved the demon back in control. Li Fei's eyes turned bloody red again, glowing brightly under the water, like crystal ruby hidden in the dark. The demon gritted his teeth. Then, with what was left of their internal strength, he tried to command the dark mist to lift them up. Fortunately, it complied. It wrapped the young girl's body like a dumpling and pulled them out of the water, directly into the ground, before releasing the body.

He was breathless! For a second there, he thought he would die from drowning and it was all going to be a human's fault. He, the mighty Mogwai, died because of a little human, he would straight out become the laughingstock of the century!

*'Li Fei' coughed up badly as he tried to breathe in as much as he could. His heart was pounding hard inside his chest to the point that his head began to throb, following the rhythm of his heartbeats.

(*Note: I would be using quotation mark on Li Fei's name whenever the demon was in control. But I would still use "He" when I didn't mention the name.)

Well, ain't this very humane? He could not believe that he would one day be in this kind of situation, being out of breath.

"You little shit!" He cursed at Li Fei in his mind while he continued panting.

"Excuse me!" Li Fei interrupted him. She was panting too. Although she didn't experience it firsthand, they were of the same soul after all, so she was breathless as well. "I wouldn't let the sword pierce me, okay? I'm not that stupid! We're the same soul now, why didn't you read my intention? I was just teasing you a little bit and you went on with your forceful way. What a brute!"

She let it all out in one go. She was pissed as hell!

He sighed and ignored her as he tried to calm himself down first before he engaged in another conversation in their mind. "Look, let's clear this up once and for all."

"I didn't kill you. Your soul was too powerful hence your consciousness was strong. I couldn't just break in and merge with your soul, unless I injure you internally, which I did. I was trying to break your soul a little bit by using my dark energy to make it easier for me to invade your body."

"Then, why didn't you just tell me that? Did you have to stab me like that? I was shock! It was painful you know." Li Fei still didn't want to give in. She felt indignant for this accident. Her face was pouting.

The demon chuckled silently. Maybe the water had gotten into his head or he was just lack of oxygen, therefore his brain couldn't work properly, because he actually found her pouting face cute somehow. He felt like teasing her all of the sudden. But he needed to be serious now to appease this little one's anger and all the misunderstandings.

"I know you were still suspicious at that time. You hadn't trusted me yet. If I had told you, would you have let me?"

Ugh. Yeah, she wouldn't alright. She would have stepped back and became even more suspicious. But still, there could be a room for discussion, right?

The demon smiled. He knew what she was thinking, thus he replied, "It would save more time if I attack you silently."

"You're just pure evil, huh?" Li Fei clicked her tongue. "Please consider this little girl's heart next time! It has been utterly surprised by your selfish action."

The demon's face became ugly. He was utterly disgusted now. "Please refrain yourself from using the words 'this little girl'. Consider your age, Granny."

Li Fei was enraged! "You bastard! I'm still young, okay?? Look at this little body, I'm a bright youthful girl. Hmph!"

He smirked. "You sure you want me to look? Okay, I have no problem with that. Bon appétit!"

Just as he said that, he looked down. However, before he managed to savor the beautiful view, 'Li Fei' eyes turned blue and her hands slapped onto both of her eyes, blocking the view.

That hurts...

"Girl, for your information, I was the one who created your body," he chirped in.

"Correction," she said. "The dark mist was the one who created it. You haven't seen it yet. We were both asleep."

Hmph! Wanna fool this grandaunt? Maybe next time, boy!

The demon laughed. He was simply amused by this girl. It was indeed the right choice to sign the contract with her. Where else would he find such a unique toy? This could lightened up his boring life from now on. He was anticipating what the future with this girl would hold. But for now...

His lips lifted up evilly. He should tell her alright. He now kinda loved her angry expression too.

"My Dear, this one is not going to lie to you again. So.." He stopped.

Li Fei frowned. "What?"

"I regret to tell you that, I have seen your body when you first looked at it."

Huh?

Huh??!!
