141 The Guest List

After cleaning his wound and having changed into a new robe, Qu Xing Xu followed back Lin Xiaofei to her room which was connected to his own. At the moment, she wasn't saying anything about his sneaky arrangements to have their rooms joined but just from the dark aura oozing out from her body, he's sure that his bride was contemplating between whether she should shove her hairpin to his chest or continue their charades.

Leaning towards the desk in the middle of the room, Qu Xing Xu raised his eyebrows at the parchment on top of it with clean and elegant writings.

"Why are you listing down the noble families in the Capital?" He asked as he traced his fingers on the parchment.

However, instead of answering him, Lin Xiaofei stared at him as if he was a stupid boy who never seen a flower cake all his life.

Casting the weird look on her face, Lin Xiaofei cleared her throat and said, "That's the guest list."
