102 Came to Pick You Up

Qu Xing Xu was all smiles after seeing the maids didn't even hesitate to leave. He stood in front of Lin Xiaofei and raised his eyebrows.

"You look like you swallowed something bitter. What happened?" His eyes landed on Lin Xiaofei who narrowed her eyes at him.

"Nothing." Lin Xiaofei calmly said as she carefully put the box on the table behind her. She remained composed hen she moved, afraid that Qu Xing Xu would take notice of the box and ask her about it.

However, Qu Xing Xu was never the kind of person who would hold his tongue and his eyes were quite trained to notice every tiny detail around him. And especially, towards the woman he fancied, no matter how small the movements she took, he would notice it immediately.

"What are you hiding from me?" Came Qu Xing Xu's question.

Lin Xiaofei stilled before resuming her calm expression on her face as she said, "I'm not hiding anything. You must have seen wrong."
