6 Chapter 5: WELCOME

Jimin pulls you up the stairs to his room. You had been silent since Jeongguk's remark. You weren't sure if the sudden surge of power you felt was being found but it felt good to feel that sort of confidence. You never considered yourself to be someone beautiful or mysterious. Never someone who oozes the type of aura that makes people stop dead in their tracks to pay attention to. You were just you. You that was trying to live without complaint, you that was trying to pay off a debt not of your own making. A you that you hated and wished you could be free from. And, in that room just minutes ago; With Jimin's eyes on you, you felt powerful. You felt intriguing and mysterious. You felt like being a bit brazen was okay. Probably had something to do with Jeongguk having a gun too. You were nervous, you were whimpering and yet in the mere seconds they talked about you in a language you could understand, you felt like you had the upper hand. The element of surprise and without a second thought you handed them embarrassment on a silver platter. And, above all, it felt really good. It felt comfortable. You stop for a second as Jimin unlocks his bedroom door.

Comfortable, that's a feeling you've been having within you since yesterday. You never had that feeling before, you had guilt, misery, depression but never comfort. Jimin was giving that to you. In some sick way, his job, his persona was giving you a level of comfort you couldn't begin to understand.

"Come, Kitten." Jimin whispers as you enter his bedroom. Mirae made a comment yesterday about how no one sees his bedroom and yet you feel like all you've done was be in this room.

"I should be sweeping or something." You tell Jimin who stops as you step through the door. He chuckles before turning to you, his dress shirt rippling as he leans against one of the posts of his canopy bed.

"You could sweep, or you could have fun. Which would you rather do?"

"Sweep?" He rolls his eyes gripping your wrist once more and pulling you into his walk in closet.

"Whoa." You mumble looking at all of the perfectly kept clothes. Everything was incredibly organized by color and number.

"Do you have OCD?" Jimin laughs loudly as you look at his many colored sweaters.

"I don't but Mirae does." You hum in agreement thinking about how neat her hair and her dress is at all times. Jimin grabs a box sitting on an empty shelf. Your eyes still rifling through all of his different suit jackets. Nevermind, how gorgeous his shoe rack is. Everything name brand and everything beautiful.

"Wow." You whisper as you finger at a Versace top. Jimin smiles sitting down on the velvet bench in the middle of the room.

"Never seen anything like it?" You shake your head before looking at him with a wide smile. He hums before holding out the box.

"When I said I didn't bring you here to be a maid, I meant that. There's something powerful in the way you carry yourself, Kitten. You have this unspoken air about you, that gets people moving." You take the box raising an eyebrow and Jimin smiles.

"I like that you can't control those facial expressions either." He pats the bench next to him and you sit down. His hands intertwining on his lap shortly after combing through his hair.

"If I lift this lid and it's a gun, I'm leaving." Jimin laughs putting his head back, you laugh with him. His laugh was contagious to you. It was melodic, bubbling forward with cheer and delight and you couldn't help but find yourself enraptured by it. You lift the lid off of the box before gasping.

"It's not a Chanel 2016. But I think it'll do." His joke doesn't go unnoticed from your first meeting as you take the black silk dress out of the box. You stand shoving the box off of your lap as you hold it up. Swavorski crystals cascading down from the shoulders towards the bust area. A Swavorski pin in the shape of a lion clasping the dress together at the sides.

"Will you come to a ball with me, Kitten?" You look over at him clutching the dress to your chest. It was the most gorgeous article of clothing you had ever held in your hands.

"Jimin, I-" You could cry, your eyes stinging at the generous gift.

"Don't say anything but yes or no. Will you accompany me to a ball?" You stare at him as he smiles, the way his tooth is cutely crooked and how he tilts his head with his eyes fully closed.

"Yes." He stands up before clapping once.

"Good girl. Try it on. I'll be outside if you need me." He steps around you to leave you alone with the dress.

"Jimin." You call quickly, he turns his head with a smirk.

"Can you undo my zipper?" You ask pointing at the back of your neck. His licks his lips before his smirk turns devilish.

"Sure." You turn around giving him your back as you feel his presence behind you in a second. You look back at him and he chuckles.

"Don't look at me like that. You don't know the presence you hold changing in my closet. No one ever has before." If that's true, that's pretty interesting to hear. Seeing as how Jimin is one handsome man. His fingers clasp at the zipper before pulling it down slowly, so slowly you're sure time has stopped. You take in a deep breath as his pinky knuckle caresses down your spine as he holds his hand upside down.

"No one has changed in here before?" Jimin can't help but crease his eyes in delight.

"No one, kitten. Just you." The warmth of his hand radiates as he finally stops at the bottom of your back right above your tail bone. Your dress begins to fall off your shoulders and Jimin's eyebrows furrow.

"I'll be outside." His voice coming out in a whisper and just like that he was gone from the room.

You stare at the black dress as you un-clip the Lion pin unwrapping the front of the dress. How could he just shower you with this gift without asking for anything in return but to go to a ball with him? You slip the dress on, taking the time to revel in the feel of the luxurious fabric.

"Wow." You whisper turning to the large mirror on the wall. You feel your eyes beginning to burn again. You had never had such a beautiful thing on you before. You clasp the pin back to the waist before watching how your leg peaks out of the dress mischievously. You looked hot, something you had never expected yourself to think. You turn your head slinging your hair over your shoulder as you take in the back of the dress. It had ripples in all the right places for you to feel comfortable. The bust line was cinched tightly and the neck line was low, showing the curve of your breasts nicely. You were impressed that Jimin could find this dress for you.

"Kitten? Did you climb out the ceiling?" You giggle as you walk towards the door.

"Nope, still here." Jimin chuckles, "Good girl."

You emerge from the room, Jimin sitting on the edge of the bed holding Lion in his lap. He looks up from Lion to let out a strangled noise.

"Wow." He whispers setting Lion aside and standing up. He holds his hand out and you advance towards him without an ounce of nervousness.

"You look gorgeous." He says spinning you around, the silk fabric moving fluidly as you turn on your tip toes. You smile up at him and all he can do is stare.

"You look radiant." He can't seem to find any other words to say as he ogles you in this dress.

"Thank you. The dress is beautiful."

"No. Not the dress. You." A knock comes at the door and Jimin rolls his eyes, upset to be taken out of the moment as Jeongguk opens the door without warning. "Whoa!" Jeongguk says happily as he steps inside with Mirae.

"Y/N! You look amazing!" Jeongguk fawns over you and you feel Jimin clutch on to your hand harder.

"Doesn't she?" Jeongguk smiles happily at you as Mirae walks towards Jimin.

"Sir Jeon said you wanted me, Sir?" Mirae smiles at you as you fiddle the leg opening closed out of respect for the older woman.

"Take the tag off Y/N's foot." You and Jeongguk turn your heads to Jimin quickly.

"What?!" You ask loudly, "Just promise me you won't run away." Jimin whispers in your ear before pulling his face back to look at you. You didn't really have anywhere else to go, really. Your sister was probably staying with your cousin in Mapo-gu. You had no other option and to be honest, you wouldn't really want to go any place else.

"Promise." You whisper, Jimin's face flooding with relief as Jeongguk cheers quietly next to you. You snort as Mirae looks over at you, she pulls a set of keys out of the front pocket of her dress.

"Freedom." Jeongguk whispers dramatically from behind you and you can't help but roll your eyes as you crouch down with Mirae.

"Thank you." You whisper to her and she just winks.

The key goes into the device on your foot and just like that, your ankle was free of the weight. You roll your ankle before looking up at Jimin. He nods once as you and Mirae stand up.

"Will that be all, Sir?" Jeongguk nudges you with his hip making you chuckle.

"Throw out the maids dresses in Y/N's room. We'll find something more appropriate." Mirae gives a nod.

"Madam, would you like anything?" She asks looking over at you, you point at yourself raising an eyebrow.

"Kitten, would you like anything?" Jimin asks walking over to the chess table and sitting down casually. He unbuttons the top of his dress shirt before looking up at you.

"Mirae...No, don't...don't do that." You say shaking your hands at her. She gives you a kind smile, "If that is all, I'll be in the kitchen." She bows her head before leaving with your ankle perimeter device in hand.

"Jimin, don't let her do that." Jimin looks up at you before shrugging, "I don't make Mirae do anything. She does what she wants. She runs this house." You scoff as Mirae closes the door behind her.

"So, have you been found?" Jeongguk teases sitting across from Jimin. You tilt your head as Jimin puts a hand under his chin.

"Maybe." You whisper walking gingerly, thankful the device isn't weighing you down. Jeongguk hums in agreement.

"We have things to do today." Jimin tells you both as you walk towards his balcony.

"Oh, yeah? Like what? I already did my jobs for today." Jeongguk says putting his tattooed hand to his cheek.

"We have to get Y/N new clothes and she has to meet Hoseok." You tilt your head towards him as you look out his balcony door.

"I have met Hoseok." Jeongguk chuckles, "No. You really haven't." Jimin stands stretching tall before grunting.

"The ball is in a week. We have one week to make Kitten into a lion." You turn quickly, a sly smile spreading across Jeongguk's face. "Welcome to the Lions Den."
