When I awoke the following morning, I felt refreshed... and strangely excited at the same time. For some reason, everything had changed overnight. Perhaps it was because things were finally over between us... but in a good way! I had decided to cut my losses early last night... and let it go... and I was glad I had! In fact... everything was going to be fine from here on in! At least that was what I hoped...

Once again, Alicia was sleeping peacefully in bed beside me so I quietly stood up, walked naked towards the bathroom and quickly showered. After drying off, I returned to my bedroom wearing my boxers. As soon as I entered the room, Alicia stirred awake. She sat straight up and blinked her eyes open as I approached. Her face lit up immediately with excitement when she saw me standing there.
