A Story Never Told

Today I must to go back on my work, then I took out all my clothes and went inside the bathroom to wash my body from all sweats and smells covered me.

Wearing my office uniform as well putting some make up on my face, I'm standing in the front of a mirror to check my own self before to go.

Driving the car, my eyes landed on a small café causes my little stomach grumbled. It sink inside my head, I didn't yet eat breakfast so I stopped the car and glanced on what time is it. Exactly, I have more than a hour so I can enjoy my little breakfast here.

The foods and coffee, I had ordered were swiped out by a little monster inside me. I giggled on my thoughts on how hungry I am.

I've entered the hotel, some staffs told me "Good morning Ma'am" but others having a half vow as their greeted. Well, it doesn't matter at all. Even though, I'm the manager but I'm not the owner of the entire place I was just an ordinary worker having a small rank on it.

A voice came out somewhere, "Good morning, Reece"

I'm searching the perons's voice, as my eyes landed on who it was. Talking about the hotel owner, he's in front of me, "Good morning Sir" I said also offered shake hands, he quickly responsed on it.

"Oh no, don't you think it is weird when your calling me Sir" he said

I was confused on what he mean, "Well, I don't think there's a wrong when I called you Sir, since your the owner of my workplace" smiled at him.

"It's not a matter on me, Reece. Just call me uncle, though we're not related but you know how much your father and I were very close. Well,

I heard your family are going back to the palace" he said while still smiling.

"Wh-Wha-t do you mean going back there?" I uttered before to finalize my words.

"I see, you have no idea what's going on to your family. If you don't mind, let's go to my office, I think we need small talk" he said while walking to his office

I nodded and follow him behind.

"Take your sit, Reece" Mr. Hill told me.

"I have no rights to tell you this, but somehow you must know what's going on..Your father and grand-dad are getting good again, therefore the king begging to your dad to come back inside the palace"

"How could it happened? I know our family had issues but how on earth dad and the king are getting well without my knowledge." I stated, and confuse shown on my face.

"Let say, your father was a the favorite son of the king. On our situation right now, it's very rude and disrespectful if you're continuing your work here in my hotel...I mean, look Reece when knows about you, it will lead to a wrong impression for others..Sorry, but please think about on whay I'm trying to say" He spoke out with low voice on the end of his words

"I figure out what do you mean Mr. Hill, not a big deal for me. You know a few days ago, I was thinking if I end my work here, because I need a break for myself and yes, I missed my family there. But this was the first time, I heard news about my family. Ever since I'm far away from them" I said him with a calm voice and good vibes.

"That's great to know. In fact, years passed as you're the manager, deep inside me I'm very thankful on you, how you handled everything here. Still, our hotel is one of the top list worldwide. How can I find another manager like you, when you leave us" he said with cracky voice

"Please Mr. Hill, don't say that. You and all your staffs taught me a lot of things. I promised I always remind everything. Additionally, I'm very happy I trained myself here became a good worker. I hope, my skills can help my dad and brothers when I'll join them soon."

"No worry about yourself, I believed in you." he said warmly

"Thank you sir, but if you don't mind I'll recommend a suitable person for my position. And also, I'll stay here as long as the billionaires of America are still here, after then maybe that was my last day." I said lowering my face.

"Wonderful, you're such an angel for this hotel you know that. And who is the person you're talking?" he asked me

"You know, I spend my last three years with my one and only secretary, Ariel. She already know everything, she didn't need any training for become a manager. She was a hardworking person, you can always count on her. She's not just my secretary but a sister for me." I'm telling him, because that is the last thing I can do for Ariel, for all her kindness to me...

In other side, I want her to be with me in England, but I know she can't leave her beloved place and she deserve a good opportunity for her determination on every work she do.

"Ok Fine, as your request.. It's all good I know! Thank you for everything Reece"

"No need to mention Mr. Hill, but one last thing... I'm the one who will announce my retirement to everyone also to Ariel. The best time for my announcement when the party of businessmen over. I know almost our staff will be there" I said to him

"Brilliant idea...You can't deny the fact that you are belong to a royal family" he told me while taking up from his chair.

"Oh be quite Mr. Hill, your voice is loud enough to hear all over the hotel. You know my secret identity, it can burst out because of yours." I playfuly told him with giggled came out on my mouth

He chuckled heavily along his right hand was placed on his tummy, "Right, sorry I forgot...Just a secret until it lasts"

"Thank you, I think I need to go to my work and enjoy my few days left" I stand and vow my head.

"Sure Reece, , go ahead enjoy every little moment. Bye. See you around" he said as picking up his laptop from his drawer.

After a long chat with Mr. Hill, I went straight to my office and clear myself on what are the things my mind cope up.

Not bad after all, at least I have more days left. Surely I'm gonna miss these place, the staffs and my work. I think, I must entail a nice dress for the party as for my announcement.

I called out my secretary by intercom, "Ariel, please try to call a famous designer who ever it is, for making me a dress for the party and tell him go right now. I'm waiting thankyou.."

"Ok ma'am, your wish is my command. Just wait at least 1 hour. Bye" She said and I ended up the intercom

One hour later....

A knock on the door, "Yes Come in"

My secretary appeared on my sight with a pretty woman beside her..

"Hello ma'am your request is here. She is Ms. Smith she will help your needs" Ariel said and I nodded.."Ok, you may back on your work. Thank you" she smiled and walk away.

"Hi Ms. Smith glad to meet you. I'm Reece Ri----" suddenly she cut me off, "I know who you are Ms. McFadden".

Suprisingly, she vowed on me and my curiousity running high on what she know about me..

"What do you mean Ms. Smith?"

"Just call me Jam,..how can I not know, you're a McFadden belong on a billionaire family and blood from a royal family." She smiled shyly and looking downward..

I left dumbfounded, rare people outside from England knows about my royal blood...My father doesn't considered himself as a Duke of Cambridge. He was kicked by his father by choosing business over his throne, five years ago. His brother, Prince Mark Duke of Sussex who is also acting the role of my father...He always tried to call out my dad, to claim his position. Unfortunately, I have a stubborn dad, he'll not claim again his position unless the Prince of Wales, I mean my grandfather told him to do it. After knowing the news awhile ago, I feel relief about our troubles.

My dad doesn't want everyone thinks about his wealth comes from the family he belong with. Though, he's a famous on business world.

Every single person in England knew about our family issue, but they always respect us. According to my dad, the people of England are humble. They didn't show any wrong impression to my dad, coz of that, I really admired them.

I snapped back to reality, "how could you know about that? I mean look, you're an American national, how could it be..Rare people knows that matter. That was a story never tell anyone outside the country"

"Don't worry, I know everything Princess Riley..." she said with a low tone

I was shocked on what she called me, five years since my dad kicked out, we left our royal names, so no one ever called out prince or princess.

"Sssh, don't call me that. I'm not used it anymore, five years ago we left our titles. Just call me Reece"

"Sure as you wish ma'm, but I'm not a pure American also I'm a half British. So I easily recognized you. I left England more than a year ago means I knew out your family line" she said smiling

"Sounds enough, well don't considered me as a special but just an ordinary human being. Maybe we start to talk about the real business" I said with playful expression at the end of my words.
