"Are you sure you want to do this, Damian?" Ezekiel asked. Damian shot him an icy glare, and he defended himself immediately, " I mean, nothing is certain about you two just yet. She might turn you down at the end of the day".

Seeing Damian turn in another direction he let out a sigh of relief.

"Don't worry about her feelings for me, I know she has them. She just hasn't let them out yet, and that is what I need to work on". Damian said with utmost certainty in his voice.

Hearing him say that, they could not bring themselves to discourage him. They both know how hard they have tried to get him involved with a woman but each attempt always ends up as a fail.

Ezekiel who was no longer routing for Melody and Damian after finding out her identity did not have the mind to oppose him any longer after reflecting on their past together. He was not sure if Damian would ever fall in love again he was not going to be the stumbling block to his friend's happiness.

If Damian was okay with risking everything for her and he was so sure of the outcome, then he would believe in it. After all, Damian has never been wrong before.

"What would you have us do then?" Ezekiel asked.

"I want a collaboration with the West corporations. I want to be in control of every single part of the company without them knowing it". Damian said in a cold and dark tone with an expressionless face, his eyes staring into the distance.

"We'll make it happen". Ezekiel said.

"What about the Nova clan itself, with their multiple companies across the globe, they are bound to act if they see anything suspicious". Lloyd asked.

They have multiple companies worldwide, if they are anyone more than capable of dealing with them would be an insider. In order words, Melody. But just in case, buy shares with them under different names". Damian said with a cold smirk on his handsome face.

"Sure thing man". Lloyd answered and smiled at his friends who did not care about the reason behind his smiles.

At Melody's condo,

Abigail arrived shortly after being told that Melody had asked for her. Melody was sitting with Abigail in the living room and chatting happily after spending some time getting to know each other, Abigail stood to leave.

The two women were happy and had grown a bit closer after their life experiences. Turns out that Abigail was saved by Smith from an abusive foster father at the if eighteen, who used her to get money no matter how dangerous it might be.

She was abused physically, mentally and emotionally, and even sexually. The day that her foster father wanted to kill her was the day that Smith found her, he had the man jailed for being an abusive parent and failing in his responsibilities as a guardian.

He took her away with him, gave her treatment, and made sure that she was not harmed mentally, had no side effects from all the abuses, like trauma, and could live in society.

He gave her some money and told her to go and start a new life wherever she wanted but she refused to leave and chose to stay with him afraid that if she went out there again, she would be hurt once more.

After some time he finally agreed and allowed her to stay. When she found out about his job, she begged him to teach her and she started training her.

Melody felt sorry for her. She never thought of her to be someone who could get abused to such an extent but she was happy that now she was free thanks to Smith.

Melody walked her to the door and bid her goodbye before returning to her seat.

When she was seated, she received a notification on her phone and checked what it was about. On the screen of the phone, she saw the top of the search engine was all about Scarlett's rejection from both movies.

The netizens were huge fans of Scarlett and they are making a fuss about it on social media. "Turns out that Scarlett has made quite a name for herself in these few years, huh!" Melody murmured to herself.

Immediately, she got an incoming call from Diana which she gladly received with a smile seemingly knowing why her friend was calling her.

"Melody, are you seeing what I am seeing now? "Diana's voice is loud and lively as she says those words. It was evident that she was overjoyed with whatever she had seen and wanted to share.

"Calm down now, you don't want to stress too much, do you?" Melody said and smiled.

"Nah, forget about that. You have to check what is on social media now and I can tell that you will love it too". Diana said in excitement.

"I know what Is there already and yes, I love it". Melody responded.

"You know already! Wait... Are you responsible for what happened to her?" She asked with much expectation.

"Yes, I am responsible for all of it. I intend to deal with them slowly until they have nothing left, then I will give the final blow and they will not be able to stand it and collapse at once". Melody said to Diana on the phone.

"You are a bad girl. Anyway, I like it that way too. Don't forget to ask for my help if you need any, I will always support you okay? Diana said.

The smile on Melody's face broadened upon hearing those words of her friend. "I know and I will not hesitate to come to you for help if it is needed".

"So, who will be the next victim?" Diana asked.

"I am not so sure yet, but just wait and you will see it soon. I won't disappoint you". Melody replied.

"Oh...Alright then, I will wait patiently for your surprise." Diana said.

Soon after the call was disconnected and Melody went about her day without a single care in the world.

The weekend was coming to an end for the new week to begin. While Melody was relaxing through it all, some other people were plotting and scheming.
