Abigail took a second to stare at the door where moving to open it. Her entire frame seemed ti have frozen when she saw the.manstanding on the other side of the door.
"Collins…?" Abigail called, momentarily forgetting to step aside to let him in or ask him to leave.
"May I come in?" Collins asked. He looked around them, it was silent, indicating that no one else was awake around here but he would still prefer to talk to her where nit just anyone would walk by and over hear their conversation.
"Oh…right, come in," Abivaik finally stepped aside and opening the door wider floor him ti walk through. She shut the door after he did and followed behind him the the U-shaped sofa at the side of the room. "Have a seat," she said when he stopped without sitting.
Collins walked to the seat and sat down , then waited for her to do the same.
