The fashion show

The surprise of seeing Sophia after a long time was evident in Ella's eyes. Part of her wanted to hug her, but the hostility in Sophia's eyes stopped her from approaching her. Ella stood there, watching her indifferently. 

"Oh, you work for Jimmy," Sophia remarked, her voice laced with sarcasm. 

Ella, choosing not to dignify the tone with a response, focused on her work. Indeed, she worked for Jimmy. Working for Jimmy was a source of pride for her. She considered herself fortunate that Jimmy had chosen her work back then and given her an opportunity to work as a trainee in his company. Above all, it was his kindness that he had given the chance to showcase her designs in this significant fashion event.

It was a big day for her, and she didn't want to ruin it by arguing with Sophia right before the event.
